//------------------------------// // Chapter 8-World of Tanks(Confrontation Game Mode, USA vs British, Tier VII) // Story: World of Tanks // by cellum95 //------------------------------// It was another day in Ponyville. The ponies are just doing their business despite being traumatized by their previous encounters with the 'beasts' they called them, but the worst hit was the Mane 6. They were the first one to caught in their own eyes the very first time the 'beasts', and each new beasts is now worsening their condition. Out of them, Twilight and Pinkie had taken out the condition perfectly, but both of them are now working together how to combat the worsening days of Ponyville, whatever the cost. The rest were totally traumatized, especially Fluttershy, who was thinking how could the 'beasts' kill each other like it was nothing. For the Royal Sisters Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, the situation is even more dire. With the exception of a few theories, they only speculate that they are being teleported by some magic, and the only thing that is available is to teleport them back. However, there is one catch. The spell needs the 'host' to be in one place, and needs to be still, as in staying in one place. However, these 'beasts' are just running around like crazy into Ponyville and slugs it out to the death. For the spell to work, they must get the beasts secluded into one place only that they will be rid of for good. And today, the Royal Sisters will have that chance, when the next murder of 'beasts' begins, but this time, the tanks are more specific. -Ponyville, 11:30 AM- The ponies were just having their usual business, unaware of the danger before them. But for the Mane 6, including Twilight and Pinkie, who, for some reason that science and randomness, work together for the first time. Then, the sickening sound, all-too familiar for the ponies, began to play, making the ponies paranoid of what to come. *Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick* Two familiar colored flags, one green and one red, appeared out of nowhere, and when the ticking stops, the familiar noises have signaled the return of the steel giants. The ponies, now from their paranoia, is now in a state of panic. "It's our doom!" "Run for your lives" "Let's get out of here!" All of them, whether or not it's a filly, colt, stallion or mare, it doesn't even matter. What was now common is the now growing number of sentence, all in one topic: it's the time of the apocalypse. Suddenly, a very loud noise was heard, and the ponies stopped, only to find that their fear is growing more and more. In front of them, was a 'beast', colored brown with a white star surrounded by a white circle., with the name 'T25 AT'. Two other noises accompanied the T25 AT tank, and two other 'beasts' was in their view, nicknamed 'T29' and 'T20'. The three goes in for the kill, ready to take on any adversaries in their wake. The ponies look on to this three very similar tanks with the white star surrounded by a circle. For the Mane 6, however, this was odd. Surely that the other 'beasts' they witness were in different colors, and names, but this one is particularly different. When they look up, they could see the names of the tanks, it was like they were in the same nation. But, at the same time, their train of thoughts were interrupted by the familiar ping noise, and when they turned their heads, they could see the first enemy tank, the British Crusader SP SPG. This was unusual for the Mane 6, as this 'SPG's' as they were called don't usually go to the position of three American tanks. However, in another point that this British SPG was looking for a better spot to fire from. But it didn't get the chance when the T25 AT Tank Destroyer fired it's first round, ammo racking the helpless scumbag. The three American tanks continues to roll in for the kill, as their comrade's kill the other British tanks such as the other Crusader SP, two seemingly platooned British Comet Medium Tanks and an AT 7 Tank Destroyer. With the time ticking, the ponies could see that their eleven minutes left of killing frenzy, getting them paranoid even more. With the kill count being eight to zero, surely that their is nothing to worry about for the American tanks. However, it would be not that easy as another AT 7 Tank Destroyer destroys one of their tanks, the T71 Light tank. The four tanks that is defending the American base, the T25/2 TD, the M12 SPG, and two T29 Heavy Tanks. In the last known location of the AT 7, if the Mane 6 could probably understand it well, its near to the friendly base, and their is a few tanks that is defending it. Meanwhile, back at the American strike force, it's doing pretty well against the main tanks of the British composition, the Comet. With the score now twelve to one, it's now an easy victory for the American, but it's not that easy for the base defenders as the AT 7 finally, from it's twenty kilometer per hour speed, got to the base, but the American strike force had already got to the enemy base, capping, but the base defenders are having trouble defeating the formidable AT 7, as they lost one of their T29's. But the M12 got the AT 7, reducing it's health to forty-three percent left. With nowhere else to go, and the capture point is now eighty-three, and the last known enemy left, the AT 7 fights a desperate battle to survive, hoping that the British will fight again in another day. However, it was soon not to be as the clever T25/2 got to it's rear, while fighting the T29, and got a rear shot to the British Tank Destroyer. The T29 fires, this time killing it, with the capture now ninety-nine percent. With the last known enemy died in the battle, the 'beasts' stops, and they were gone just like the previous days alone. For the Mane 6, their thoughts are having one question from the chaos inside their brain: what if those 'beasts' are fighting each other in the same level, but with the same color, and symbols?
