Epilogue: Equestria

"Twilight." said Rarity, the only unicorn from the mob of unicorns that had formed outside of Twilight's library.
"Yes?"
"What's happening to our magic?"
"I don't know."
"What do you mean dear? You're Equestria's finest scientist, of course you know."
"I just... don't."
"Well then,-"
"I know." Interrupted a voice.
"Who goes there?!"
"Oh, just me, a ghost. Sort off."
"Oh ha ha ha. Ghosts don't exist."
"Neither do hexes. Or curses. Or demons. Or magic. Sure I don't." Suddenly, a massive book appeared in mid-air, slamming down with a loud *THUD*.
"What is that?"
"A grimoire. A spellbook. Filled with knowledge on the art of magic." Twilight laughed.
"Magic is a science, not an art."
"An that my dear," the voice replied, "Is why you lost. Use the spells in that book to free the sun and moon from their magical chains, else this world will burn."
"There are spells in here that will move the sun and moon?!" Twilight and countless unicorns like her had every waking moment of the tree weeks since the death of Celestia and the vanishing of Luna trying to find a spell to do just that.
"No, it will allow them to move themselves again. But be warned, this spell will free all of nature from your kind."
"So be it, when presented with extinction, any alternative is preferable. That's what the humans said, and now I understand it." After hearing her response, the astral projection began to depart. "Wait. What are you? Really?" Thought she couldn't see the being, she was pretty sure it was smiling.
"Page 35." It replied.
"Page 35, page 35:Astral projection, the act of removing one's soul from one's body in order to allow free communication with the supernatural: Warning, those who completely sever their souls will become... a living ghost..."
