Chapter nine
It had been two days since I dueled Zane and that Shadow Sniper and his trap card were finally gone. Now me and my duel monster spirit friends could stop worrying about him taking control of us during a duel. And I thought that plan would never work. But I'm glad that I was wrong.
The next morning, I was on my way to meet Jaden at one of the dueling arenas so we can have a chance for a friendly duel together. I walked through the hallway to where Jaden wanted me to meet him along with My duel disk on my left arm and with Fluttershy who was slowly flying next to me. "A beautiful morning isn't it Fluttershy?" I asked her with a smile.
"It sure is Chris," Fluttershy replied as we looked out the windows as we walked and flied towards the dueling arena, "I'm just wish we could duel Jaden outside today."
"I know Fluttershy," I said to her, "But Jaden thought that it might be great to have a duel inside."
"I understand Chris," Fluttershy nodded with a cute smile as she saw Jaden standing at the entrance heading into the dueling arena, "Hey there is Jaden now."
I looked straight ahead saw that Jaden was in fact standing right there waiting for us, "Hey there Jaden," I said to him as picked up pace towards Jaden.
Jaden turned to look at me and said, "Hey, you guys could actually make it."
"Of course," I said to him, "What, you didn't think we would?"
"For a minute, yes," Jaden replied, "Now let's duel."
"Yes, lets," I agreed as we walked into the arena. The arena was almost full, only Syrus, Alexis, Hasslebarry, Zane, Alexis' brother Atticus, Chazz, Jesse, Aster, Blair, and Alexis' friends were going to watch us duel, "May the best duelist win," I said to Jaden as our duel disks went on line.
"Agreed," Jaden said.
"GAME ON," we both said as we drew our five cards...

The five cards in my hand were Flash Sentry...
My Love of the Moon spell card...
Little Pipsqueak...
Nightmare Mist...
And my Empire of the Crystal field spell...
"I'll go first," I said, "I draw," as I drew my sixth card and it was Princess Cadence...
"I'll summon Pipsqueak in defense mode," I said to Jaden as Pip appeared in DEF mode.
"Aw... He is so cute," Blair said out loud as I smiled without looking at her.
"And I'll end my turn by playing the field spell the Empire of Crystals," I finished as our field changed into the main plaza of the Crystal Empire, "It's your move Jaden, I hope you won't disappoint."
"I won't Chris, I draw," he said as he drew his next card, "I play my Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin," then his Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin took to the field in ATK mode.
"So your Pipsqueak," Aqua Dolphin said to Pip, "That's size of your's really does make you cute."
"Well thank you Aqua Dolphin," Pip said kindly to him.
"And next I'll place one card face down and call it a turn," Jaden finished, "Let's see what else you got Chris."
"Gladly, I draw," I said pulling my next card from my deck and it was my Stained glass of Destiny spell card...
"I play my Stained glass of Destiny which let's me draw four cards from my deck to my hand, but in exchange, I'll have to discard one card," I stated as I drew my four cards which were Sweetie Belle...
Princess Luna...
My Monster Reborn spell card and my Crystal Heart trap card...
I then sent Flash Sentry to the Graveyard.
"Now, I'll sacrifice Nightmare Mist to summon Princess Luna in attack mode," I continued as Nightmare Mist started to reform into Princess Luna herself, "Ready Luna?"
"Of course Chris," Luna replied to me.
"Next I play the equip spell The Love of the Moon; with this card equipped to Luna, as long Pip is on the field, Luna 400 attack and defense points," I said to Jaden, "So go and attack with Magic Moon Seal," I ordered as Luna used her magic to create a magic seal aiming at Aqua Dolphin.
"I play a trap; Mirror Force," Jaden said as his trap card revealed it's self.
"You forgot about Luna's effect, she can destroy any trap cards you control," I said as his trap card started to shatter into pieces and the seal that Luna created started to sucking Aqua Dolphin in and send him to the Graveyard.

"Now I'll switch Pip into attack mode and let him bring up the rear," I continued as Pip was switched into ATK mode and attacked Jaden.
"AHHH!" Jaden yelled as Pip took a kick at him.

"Great work little buddy," I said to him.
"Thanks Chris," Pip thanked me.
"And finally I'll place a card face down and end my turn," I said placing my face down on the field, "It's your move Jaden."
"Alright, my draw," Jaden said pulling another card from his deck, "I play my Neo-Spacian Dark Panther," as his Neo-Spacian Dark Panther took to the field.
"Well, this got interesting," Luna said.
"Next, I play the spell card Monster Reincarnation; now by discarding one card, I can bring back a monster from the Graveyard, and I call back my Aqua Dolphin," Jaden continued, "Now Dark Panther, attack Pip," he ordered as his Dark Panther use his claws to slash at Pip causing him to explode.

"Pip, no!" Luna cried out in horror as the equip spell I put on her was sent to the Graveyard along with Pip.
"And now for O-Oversoul," Jaden went on, "With this card I get to bring back the Elemental Hero card that I had just tossed."
"I'm guessing that you had this all planned out," I said to Jaden curiously.
"I sure did, so give it up for Elemental Hero Neos," Jaden replied as Elemental Hero Neos appeared on the field, "Your on Neos attack Luna with Wrath of Neos," he said to Neos as the Elemental Hero jumped up into the air and struck Luna causing her to explode into a cloud of blue smoke...

"And finally I'll place one card face down and end my turn," he finished placing his face down on the field.
"Okay then, my draw," I said pulling another card from my deck and it was Octavia...
"I summon Octavia in defense mode," I said to Jaden as Octavia appeared in DEF mode, "You ready Octavia?"
"Of course Chris, I'm ready for anything Jaden can throw at us," Octavia replied.
"I guess that'll do for now Jaden," I finished, "It's your move."
"Okay then, I draw," Jaden said pulling another card from his deck, "I'm going to end my turn for now."
"Okay," I said to him, "I draw," pulling another card from my deck and it was Octavia's Crystal Pony form...
"I sacrifice Octavia to bring out her Crystal form," I continued as Octavia transformed into her Crystal form, "And thanks to my field spell, Octavia gets a 500 attack point boost," I explained...
Crystal Octavia: ATK: 2850
"Now Crystal Octavia, show what Aqua Dolphin what you can do, and attack with Crystal Cello Music," I ordered as Octavia started playing her cello, sending music notes towards Aqua Dolphin, and those music notes caused Aqua Dolphin to explode.

"And I think I'll end my turn with a face down," I finished placing my face down on the field, "Your move Jaden."
"Okay then, I draw," Jaden said pulling another card from his deck, "And I'll summon Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab," as his Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab appeared on Jaden's side of the field, "Now I'll use Contact Fusion on Neos and Scarab to create Elemental Hero Flare Neos," then Neos and Flare Scarab fused together to form Flare Neos, "Now for every spell and trap card out on the field Neos gets a 400 attack point boost."
Elemental Hero Flare Neos: ATK: 4100
"Flare Neos, show Chris and his friends what you can do, and attack with Flare Storm," Jaden ordered as Flare Neos sent a burst of fire at Octavia.
"I don't think so Jaden, I play a trap; the Crystal Heart," I said as my trap card revealed it's self, "Thanks to this card, all my Crystal Pony type monsters are safe from attacks," and then Flare Neos' attack was stopped with the magic of the Crystal Heart.
"Okay, then I'll end my turn by playing instant Neo Space; which means Neos gets to stick around," Jaden continued, "Because normally, once he uses his special ability he gets sent back to my deck, but thanks to this, Neos is not going anywhere, and that ends my turn."
"My draw," I said as I pulled out another card from my deck and it was my Dark Awakening spell card...
"I play my Dark Awakening spell card; with this card, I can send two Dark Pony type monsters from my deck to Graveyard, and then I can draw a card for each monster on your side of the field," I said as I sent Nightmare Rarity...
And adult King Sombra to the Graveyard...
"And since you have two monsters on your side of the field, I get to draw two cards," I continued as I drew my two new cards to my hand and they were Twilight...
And my Weasel Cake-house trap card...
"Now I'll send three cards from my deck to the Graveyard to special summon Twilight to the field in attack mode," I said sending three cards from my deck to the Graveyard and soon Twilight appeared on the field in ATK mode, "Finally I'll place one card face down and end my turn."
"Okay, my draw," Jaden said pulling another card from his deck, "And I'll switch Dark Panther to defense mode and that should do for now," he finished, "Your move Chris."
"Alright then, my turn now, I draw," I said pulling another card from my deck and it was Christian Brutal Sniper...
"I summon the Freak type tuner monster Christian Brutal Sniper in attack mode," I said to Jaden as CBS appeared in ATK mode, "Next I activate my trap card known as Weasel Cake-house; with this card I can special summon Weaselcake from my deck to the field in attack mode," then came Weaselcake...
"Next I'll tune Level three Christian Brutal Sniper with Level three Weaselcake and Level Twilight to Synchro summon a new type of Pony," I continued as CBS, Weaselcake, and Twilight merged together, "I Synchro Summon Brutalight Sparkcake," then Brutalight appeared in the three monsters' place...
"Get ready Jaden because she will be a force that will be difficult to destroy for every monster in my graveyard she gains 400 attack points and there is a total of six monsters in my Graveyard right now," I explained...
Brutalight Sparkcake: ATK: 5650
"Now Brutalight attack with Magic of Insanity," I ordered as Brutalight used her magic to create an energy blast at Flare Neos...
