Peewee Returns

Chapter 1

"Stop this, please!" Celestia pleads to a mysterious being in a wormhole. He just appeared one day, planning on destroying 'this universe' and move on. All the heroes and heroines had fallen. Even when the villains had come together, they are no match for this being!

"Silence, you fool!" The being booms to Celestia furiously. The alicorn saw that there's only one hope left. The princess turns to the Mane Six, wielding the Elements of Harmony. Hopefully they will be enough to stop this invader from out of nowhere!

"Girls! The Elements!"

"You think those trinkets can destroy me?! I adsorbed many universes, many ponies, many Elements; All failures."

As Pinkamena goes in her room, she sees a Gold Phoenix. The mare says, "Hello Gold Wing." It looks around as she continues, "Long story but I am happy to see you and I am sure Goldie will be happy as well. He is with princess Celestia but I am sure he is still there."

The Phoenix nods as it flies off as she then says in her mind, "I wonder when the time comes when I show myself to the ponies, will they accept me. Only time will tell."

"WHYYYYYYYY?!?" Spike screams anguish and upset. The baby Dragon was preparing to make the most awesome jewel cake ever...when he made a goof: Spike ate his final gem just like he did before the pet caring madness started!

"Spike," Twilight ask in concern as she, Ben, Nyx and Phobos came in with Koga and Owlowiscious, upon hearing him screaming. The baby Dragon is slamming his head on the counter. "What's wrong?"

"Why can't I...keep one lousy...gem; ARGH; WHY?!"

"Did you eat your gem?" Ben asks Twilight skeptically. "I thought we pay you a lot before we left for the Crystal Empire."

"Yeah...but Spike lost them all." Nyx explains to Ben sheepishly.

"What? Okay, what happened? Did something happen?"

Spike looks down sadly as he said, "My day started out so well...I got a lot of jewels and..."

"Spike, what happened?" Twilight ask Spike in concern, making her assistant worried. The baby Dragon is wondering if he should tell her and Ben what happened to him, Nyx, Phobos and the pets all day.

"Better tell him, Spikey." Phobos remarks to Twilight with a shrug. "Can't keep it inside, you know."

Spike sighs, may as well confess. As Twilight and Ben listen, the baby Dragon, Nyx and Phobos explained what has happened all day since the Mane Six and Ben left for the Crystal Empire: Angel keeps running off with Spike trying to dump him onto the Cutie Mark Crusaders at one time, he keeps losing jewels depending on the matter, the unexpected side-trip to the Crystal Empire, trying to avoid been seen, etc.

"I was wondering about the noise on the way back home." Twilight said thoughtfully. "Mind telling us why you admit to having problems before?"

"Well, I was worry that you would be upset and disappointed...that I am a bad pet sitter...oh man! No wonder I lost Peewee!" Spike exclaims as he sobs a bit. Koga whines as he nuzzles his friend.

"Spike, you didn't lose Peewee because you were a bad pet sitter...or owner. You gave him back for his own protection. You care for him enough that you're willing to do what it takes to keep him safe."

"I know...but I really miss the little guy. He's like a part of me that is missing."

"Spike," Ben said with a sigh while hugging Spike. "I know how you feel. I missed the little guy too. I'm sure he is happy wherever he is."

"Yeah...sometimes at night...I would hear his little chirping." Spike sighs sadly a bit.

"Chirp."

"Huh. I can hear it now, even in the day time."

"Chirp."

"Weird, I can hear it too." Nyx said in concern. She and the others heard some familiar chirping coming from inside the library.

"Chirp, chirp."

"Is it..." Twilight said in surprise as Owlowiscious flew into the main room. The others follow him to investigate the chirping noise...and got an incredible surprise.

On a table is a familiar baby Phoenix, chirping happily while hopping up and down. Spike ask hopefully, "Peewee...is that you?"

"Chirp," Peewee chirps happily. Spike smiles and laughs happily as he hugs his former pet.

"Peewee; it is you!"

"Huh? Didn't we give him back home or..." Phobos begins to say, looking confused. Even the rest are surprised that Peewee has come back even though he was returned home.

"I believe I can answer that subject, Phobos." A familiar voice spoke up. The group looks up to see Celestia in the room...with Peewee's parents on her back.

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight exclaims as she gallops over to her mentor and aunt-in-law, nuzzling her a bit. "What a surprise!"

"Yes, indeed. First off, I wish to congratulate you all for helping the Crystal Empire win the chance to host the Equestria Games for next time. I am proud of you, your friends and Ben for succeeding."

"Thanks, mom," Ben said with a smile but looks puzzled. "But why is Peewee here of all places?"

Peewee's parents chuckles as they make their usual Phoenix noises. Celestia smiles as she explains, "Peewee has told his parents how you took very good care of him...and how he misses you, Spike. So his parents decided on an arrangement: Peewee will come over to visit you, Nyx and the others as long as he likes. You are still his friend, Spike..."

"That means Peewee can still Spike's pet?" Nyx ask her grandmother hopefully. "I mean, if that's okay..."

"Not 'pet' as in keeping him here sense, but in the visiting sense. Peewee's parents agreed to let Peewee visit...on the condition that Spike comes to visit him so that Peewee won't be lonely. Can you do that, Spike?"

"Yes, madam! I Pinky Promise that I will come whenever I can," Spike exclaims eagerly as he hugs Peewee who chirps playfully. "Oh man, Peewee! I missed you so much! You wouldn't believe the day that I was having!"

"You know, Spike...there is the matter of your troubles as well as you coming to the Crystal Empire with the pets, Nyx and her friends without permission or admitting that you made some mistakes earlier." Ben said sternly to Spike.

"But seeing how you are reunited with Peewee, we will forgo the punishment this time." Twilight said playfully to Spike, assuring her assistant/little brother that she will let the baby Dragon's messing up his pet sitting job as well as not admitting his mistakes before slide for now.

"Pile on the Dragon!" Phobos laughs as he, Nyx and Peewee piles onto Spike. Most of the others, even the other two pets and Peewee's parents, laugh merrily.

"I am beginning to wonder what happened on that adventure." Celestia remarks with an amusing smile.

"If you have time, princess, we will tell you over tea." Twilight suggests to Celestia hopefully.

"Why not; I am not wanted back for a while now."

"Ya know, Peewee. I wish you met my brother...if he was still alive. He tried to kill us all, but in the end, he was just a misguided guy. I wish I knew him before he turned evil" Spike gasps, having an idea. "That's it! Where's that universe watching machine?!"

Unknown to Spike playing with Peewee, he was being watched from the shadows by...a cloak figure. And this one had the same color scale features from his claws, to his hidden face behind the hood with only a scar across his eye. It was none other than Lorcan, Spike's older brother, assume descend after the war he caused so long ago. And now he watches his little brother, and his pet enjoy one's company.

"It's amazing, how much you've become very responsible, even for a Dragon your age, Spike." Lorcan spoke softly under his breath in watching such a scene. "Taking care of a pet, befriending it, and both of you share an interesting bond. Makes me think what my life be like if I was in that direction," He was in deep thought, almost picturing himself in a good way, being with his brother Spike and playing with their pet or pets, it felt...so joyful & happy, it was... Only lasting enough before the guy shook himself to his senses. "Hugh, what am I talking about? The next thing I know, I'll be asking for a pet that's right for me, like any pet out there is right for a former villain like me." Lorcan sighs in feeling that he may as well face facts; it'll be day for him if there was one creature, some kind to be the pet of the former Scarred Ruler of Equestria.

"Kruspvhmm...Poofrupvhmm..." Soon Lorcan summoned an emerald portal of flames and vanished into it before the vortex vanished itself.

Meanwhile, near Fluttershy's cottage, we see the Pegasus working with her animals.

"Here you go my friends, eat well, plenty for every..." Fluttershy was saying to her friends in feeding them their food sacks when...

"Uaaaaughhh..." Suddenly, an unusual sound was heard.

"Eep," Fluttershy yelped from the sudden noise that was behind her. "Truspvhmmm..." Then quicker than Rainbow Dash's speed, she zipped to hide up in the trees, "Who...who's there?" She muttered frightfully in what was that noise.

"Arrrughh..." The noise was heard again, but it sounded...like a moan.

"Oh dear, it sounds like an animal crying in pain!" Fluttershy spoke in recognizing the sound now.

Fluttershy approached the bush the sound came from and look to behold found what made the noises. It was a slender scarlet mackew, red feathers, except with teeth. It had a violet feather tail, two blue feather thumbs for each wing, yellow talons & a beak and yellow eyes. His left wing looked to be broken.

"Wrarrugh..." The bird made another sound, almost in pain.

"There-there little feather friend, I have you." Fluttershy spoke to gently hold the poor dear up.

"Hugh, what; who's there? Waaaargh," The bird responded in completely unaware where he was, & was stun to see a pony before him.

"Oh my, a talking bird that speaks English! I’ve never seen one quite like it." Fluttershy responded astounded, she's never seen an animal that can talk plain English before.

"Augh, maybe you would, if you happen to have lay eyes on a parrot, toots!" The bird responded off to say while addressing Fluttershy in a manner.

"Um...parrot...toots? I'm sorry, I've never heard of either." Fluttershy responded in never hearing such things before in her life.

"Oh brother; Oooh; My wing," The bird slapped his forehead but yelped from moving his injured wing.

"Oh easy now, you're hurt and need some treatment." Fluttershy spoke to help the poor patient here.

"Hugh, um...thanks for the concerns. By the way, where am I?" The bird responded puzzled & confused by the action, where was he anyway?

"Oh, you're in Equestria, just outside Ponyville borders and right here near my cottage." Fluttershy smiled to politely tell her response.

"Equestria; I flew so far! Duwwooo," The bird cried out in surprise to hear this then yelp from the hurting wing.

"There-there, your wing needs some care, but it should be fine." Fluttershy spoke to calm the animal to not be so edgy. Then she set him down, & in a few minutes, made do with a first aid kit to treat the wing in bandages.

"Hugh, not too shabby; Eh, thanks um..." The bird responded impress by the nice cast work.

"Oh, my names Fluttershy; what's your name?" The pony introduces herself & asks for the patient's name.

"Eh, I don't know if I should tell to a stranger. Especially a strange pony that might ask something out of me for the treatment and what's payment," The bird looked away in not being too open to say, considering he doesn't know if he should trust this pony he's only just met.

"Oh no, I never ask for money to treat an animal patient." Fluttershy spoke in claiming she never do such a thing.

"Wait, so you're giving me a free treatment?" The bird yelped in realizing what he heard right.

"Yes, and if you like, I can help take care of you in my cottage. I treat & care for a lot of my animal friends." Fluttershy nods in stating this little fact.

"Seriously; you're inviting me to stay at your pad where there's food, a bed and a roof over my head? You sure there's 'No' strings attached to this deal you're making?" The bird asked off in being a bit bewildered to learn what he was being offered.

"I promise, after all, we're friends now, aren't we?" Fluttershy smiled to claim on those accounted stuff.

"Friends...hugh, never thought I hear someone call a parrot like me that." The bird responded surprised, he never expected to have...a friend before.

"And who knows, maybe someday, somepony may want you to be their pet and you'll be with a special friend." Fluttershy smiled to say that this parrot might find someone to be their pet friend.

"Hah! Like anybody wants a shrew parrot for a pet, but, I'll give you credit for trying to cheer me up." The bird laugh off the subject, that'll be the day when someone, even a pony, wants him as a pet.

"Um, you're welcome?" Fluttershy responded lost in not getting what she did, but smiled to be of some help.

"And you know, I think I will tell you my name. It's Iago the Parrot, Iago for short." The parrot revealed himself by his name, to the pony.

"Oh, that's a nice name. It's nice to meet you Iago." Fluttershy smile to nod her head to meet the new friend.

"Same here, and you know, if you need some advice where your nice act might not get you somewhere, leave me to handle the case. Trust me, I got talents you never expect a lone parrot to know." Iago pointed off to say this stuff while offering to aid this shy pony.

"Oh, well I suppose I can't say no, if you have a special talent that's different from others." Fluttershy responded stunned, she never met a parrot that had lots of talent, so it's more polite to let him try to help her, right?

"Believe me kid, you ain't seen NOTHING that I can do. I can talk, I can imitate other folks' voices, and do a little singing, but only of things I like to sing about...me!" Iago boosted about himself about what he can do and much more.

"Well, let’s get you inside to get comfort, Mr. Iago." Fluttershy lifted the parrot to rest on her back before walking off.

"Hugh, never picture myself like this, especially the mister part. Oh well, looks like I found a place to stay." Iago scratch his forehead with a non-broken wing, but shrug off the feeling, this'll be someplace he can get a cozy living to. "Plus, I suppose she won't know my personality of being a selfish, loudmouth, greedy, somewhat cowardly, witty & clever, yet still a good-hearted parrot until afterwards." He muffled this stuff off to no one particular to hear him out in what his personality is that makes Iago, well, Iago.

And so Fluttershy took Iago in her home, planning to make her newest guest a nice stay in her cozy home. And boy, will Fluttershy's life be an interesting one with Iago around. At least until the parrot finds someone that would want him as their pet & friend, gee...we wonder who 'THAT' person could be. Oh well, that's another story...

Epilogue

It's over in the other universe. The Hole has killed the alternative Mane Six, the Elements of Harmony has failed to stop him and now he's about to absorb the universe. Celestia is struggling to hold on as the final moments of her world are coming to a close.

"Please...let me...see your face..." Celestia insists, wanting to see the face of the figure before she goes. The Hole complies, showing a face in the center of the vortex. The alicorn gasps upon recognizing who it is, then she begins to say sadly, "I'm sorry...S-"

"ENOUGH!" The Hole roars as he begins to make a flash.

Soon a big explosion occurred as a flash wipes out this universe. Another one taken by the Hole....

As Pinkamena was resting, she then cringes, falling on the floor. The mare then gets up and says, "Another universe killed by the Hole." She then gets up and goes to her drawer that has a mirror and opens the drawer as an item of some kind. As it glows, she says, "Even if the Hole gets here, the Mane Six and their friends and Goldie will be able to fight back but that will not be enough. This item is the best chance to save this and the other universes from the Hole."

She then closes the drawer and then heads out.
