Connor closed his laptop and looked to the sky as the snow was gone allowing the writer to type outside. He put his laptop back in his saddlebag that was resting on tree he was laying down under and looked down at ponyville from the hill he was on. “I like winter but spring brings out the beauty of the world out.” He said and closed his eyes.
Connor antler’s had fallen out recently and grew out his top hair hiding the stumps left behind. He put the back and side burns in blue hair things to make small ponytails. He was shedding his winter coat but he still looked bigger than normal pony and the fur was fluffy. “Connor!” Luna’s voice called and causing his ear twitched as he saw her walking up the hill. “There you are I’ve been looking all over for you.”
“Is something wrong?” Connor got up and Luna was panting with a smile. “I’ll take that smile means nothing wrong.”
“Right, I need you over for me at the daycare.” Luna said and Connor was confused at her ask. “Celestia and I are getting our mane and tail done and she got someone covering her part but I need somepony…or some reindeer to cover for me.” Connor blinked for a moment than smiled.
“Sure, I’m always happy to help.” Connor said and put his saddlebags. “What time do you wish me to come to the daycare?”
“Thank you, come to the daycare at twelve as our appointment is at one.” Luna said and bounced off to the town.
“I’ve been here for two months and I’m already a local, I like this town.” He chuckled and walked down to the town to get a coffee.

Connor was walking through the streets with a coffee with three cream and sugar and he was humming lightly as he thought of ending for his story. Connor bumped into somepony making him snap out of his thoughts, “Sorry about that.” Connor said and noticed it was male white unicorn with blond mane and tail. The unicorn look scared as he looked up as Connor and before Connor could say something the unicorn scream than hid under a bench. “In those three words I said something wrong.”
“So you don’t remember?” Alina’s voice asked causing Connor jump as Alina was flying upside down and her head was level with his.
“Remember what?” Connor asked and looked at Alina with raised eyebrow. Alina just giggled and flew off. “What?” Connor looked back at the pathetic looking stallion as he hid under the bench and Connor walked over. “Hello, I’m Connor Featherpen.” The unicorn didn’t come out and Connor shrugged. “Guess every town has their weird ones.” Connor walked away and returned to thinking of ideas for his book.

Connor knocked on the daycare door at twelve and it was Luna opening the door. “Everyone is down in their nap and they know you are taking over.” Luna said in a rush. “Bye.” Luna went out the door with her sister and Alina met up with them at the side walk.
“Bye?” He said with few blinks before something hugging his head and everything was dark red. “Hello Bubbles.”
“Hellothereohbirdie!” She said quickly and stood on top of his head. “SoprettyIcanflylikebirdytoo!” She started to float without magic but Connor used his magic to keep her on the ground.
“They gave her sugar.” An unfamiliar voice and he peer into the house. He saw a light brown female pegasus with a messy darker brown mane and tail. On her ear she had silver ear pricing and her cutie mark was a lock heart with a key around it. “I’m Lock and Key but you can call me Dusty.” He noticed her tongue was green and he knew that was only in changelings. “Something wrong?”
“I haven’t seen a free minded changeling for long time.” He smiled and put Bubbles on the ground but she zoom around the room. “Wh-” different color of blurs ran past him in the house. “All of them were give sugar?”
“I didn’t think they react like this.” Dusty said and smiled. “But I think we can herd them right?” A rainbow blur past her head and her eyes were wide. “I think we doomed ourselves.”
“Big time…Let o-” There was crash and he looked to see all the art supplies was gone. “Oh no…” He looked at Dusty and Dusty gulped. “This is not going end well.”
“Agree.” Dusty said and her green eyes widen as she saw the paint on the wall. “We are going need drinks after this one.”

Luna returned to the daycare after her message was done and her mane and tail was shorter. Luna past by Mr. Turner with Time Turner in his saddle bag deep in sleep and Luna was confused. Luna enters the daycare and in the middle of the main room was Connor and Dusty covered in paint and both dead tried with bubbles in the middle asleep. “What in heaven’s name happened here, guys?!” She said and was stunned of the chaos and mess in just the main room. Celestia came in behind Luna and she had gotten her mane and tail only trimmed and styled.
“Oh wow.” Celestia said and walked past the two into the kitchen. “Oh sweet mercy it’s worse in here!” Alina walked in she had her tail and mane trimmed with her mane in a ponytail and she spotted Bubbles asleep between the two.
“I think I’ll take Bubbles home now.” She said and walked over to the small dark red filly. She picked her up and put Bubbles on her back. “You guys look dead tried.” Connor turned his head to his bond sister and he had paint covering him in paint. “I’m just going go now.” She stepped back slowly and left the daycare with Bubbles on her back.
“Well than…good thing tomorrow is the weekend.” Luna said and smiled. “We can clean this tomorrow…so…happy hour…after you two cle-”
“OH MY, WHAT HAPPENED IN HERE?!” Celestia yelled from the bathroom.
“Clean up at the Olivebranch’s house.” Luna said and both Connor and Dusty got up. “I think we need to call our local cleaner…this is too big for the four of us.”

Connor was sitting between Dusty and Luna in a bar booth and Discord and Celestia took the other side. Discord and Celestia were all lovey dove with calling each other pet names and snuggling and sharing wine. Dusty was drinking different drinks that Connor lost track of and Luna was drinking champagne. Connor felt a little left out as he was only drinking soda but it would be best if one of them stayed sober. “That feels better.” Dusty said and head on the table. “I’m sorry about the daycare.”
“It’s alright Dusty you’re not the first or last person to give those children that much sugar.” Luna said. “But it was first to seeing paint bushes clog the toilet.”
“I know…speak of toilets where they are?” Connor asked and looked around. Luna got out of the booth and pointed behind them. “Thanks.” Connor got out of the booth and walked to the bathroom. He was about to enter the bathroom but the door opened up and it was the white unicorn stallion from yesterday. He screamed and ran under a table close by causing Connor just blink. “Okay.” He walked into the bathroom and Luna walked over the white unicorn.
“Seriously Blueblood?” Luna asked. “You’re the most pathetic stallion in this bar.” Blueblood got out from under the table.
“Well cousin of mine if you had my to-“
“If you listened to Alina and followed her guide you wouldn’t had your bones broken.” Luna interrupted and Blueblood backed up. “You know what you are a spineless and egotistic bastard who needs to pull his head out of his plot and stallion up to your own mistakes!” Blueblood was about to say something but Connor came out of the bathroom and was standing behind Blueblood.
“Is something wrong?” Connor asked making Blueblood let out a high pitch squeak and goat faint. “What in Odin’s beard is wrong with his stallion?”
“You don’t remember breaking his bones?” Luna asked and Connor’s ear flicked with confusion written on his face. “Do you forget things when you have your due date sickness?”
“Well yes I do, example these white dotes under my eyes.” Connor said and Luna was confused now. “I finished one of my books and after a nap I woke up finding these dotes under my eyes, mom said I got them from a shaman.”
“What?” Luna asked. “Never mind but in your last hours of your sickness you broke his bones but in your defense Blueblood is a stupid, egotistic, pig head, head so far up his ass he thinks he is a prince and is never wrong!” Connor blinked and Blueblood was still out cold.
“Okay.” Connor said and walked back to the booth with Luna following him.

Luna was blushing and with a slight buzz while walking with Connor and Dusty was wasted but was taken home by Alina. Celestia was completely wasted but Discord was only buzzed and the two walked home alone. “Thanks for walking me home.” Luna said.
“No problem, Luna.” Connor said and keeps walking with her but she stopped. “Something wrong?”
“Let’s g-“
“Luna!” An unfamiliar stallion voice said. Connor looked forward to a dark gray stallion with a curved red horn. His eyes were red and he was wearing a leather black jacket. It was the stallion from the year book but his black mane was longer and messier. “Luna.” He came over and Luna moved closer to Connor as if to hide in his fluffy fur. “Luna we need to talk.”
“No we don’t,” Luna said and moved closer to Connor. “Please leave me alone and stop calling me, Sombra.”
“But babe.” He said. “I love you and I think we just need to work o-”
“You went to jail and we broke up when I graduated.” Luna hissed and Connor felt weird being in the middle of these two but even weirder as he noticed Sombra was buzzed as well.
“Can I make a suggestion?” Connor asked and cursing his mind at him mouth for not shutting up.
“Who are you?” Sombra asked.
“This is Connor Featherpen, he is my new boyfriend.” Luna said and Connor looked at her. “He is a successful writer and good reindeer.” Sombra looked up at Connor and Connor looked back up at him.
“So what is your suggestion?” Sombra asked and his eye twitched.
“A race, whoever wins dates Luna?” Connor said. ‘Hope this works.’ He thought and Sombra rubbed his chin. “Whoever gets back to Luna wins?”
“Alright.” Sombra said and Luna looked at Connor but trust him. The two line up and Luna behind them she let out a sigh.
“Ready set go!” She yelled and Sombra used a teleporting spell to get head and he was out of site. Connor turned around and poked Luna’s nose.
“I figured, he was drunk enough to take the bait.” Connor said and Luna blinked than started to giggle. “I never said the track and you never agree to the terms so the bet is off.”
“Thank you, Connor.” Luna said and blushed. “Sorry for making up that boyfriend thing.” Connor smile and kissed her nose.
“I didn’t mind,” Connor said. “I understand and I’m willing to play as your pretend boyfriend around Sombra.” Luna blush bright red and leaned on him.
“Sorry but I need to lean on some…also mind if I say at the Olivebranch house?” Luna asked and Connor smiled.
“Sure, anything for my friends.” Connor said and walked with her as she leaned on her.

Sombra returned where he met Connor and Luna and looked around. “Where are they?” He asked and rubbing his head. “Did he run past me?”
