“Workers of the Experiment, come to me!” shouted Luna.
Two guards and three scientists flew with bat wings to Princess Luna’s personal throne room. Inside Luna sat upright on her throne, forelegs on the armrest and her hind legs hanging over the front. Tapping her right hoof impatiently while her head rested on her left, she called again.
“Workers of the Experi-” shouted Luna as she was interrupted.
“Your highness,” started the female guard, “You called us?”
“Indeed, but where are the rest of the workers Darkflower?” asked Luna.
“They are coming your majesty. The unicorns must run for they cannot fly.” replied Darkflower.
“Your highness *GASP* we came as *GASP* fast as we *GASP* could.” gasped a unicorn guard as another unicorn guard galloped into the room along with three unicorn scientists.
“Thank you Starlight. Now as you all know we are ready for a test subject to test our experiment on. We need a earth pony to be changed in to a unicorn. Scientists go back to the lab and prepare to launch the experiment. Pegasus guards I will give your instructions shortly, stand by. Unicorn guards stand by the drop-off area to be ready when the Pegasus guards arrive with the test subject. Now go to your stations!” explained Luna.
The scientists ran to the lab and set up the test subject’s restraints and set up the hard plastic safety wall while the unicorn guards prepared for the long wait of the test subject’s arrival with a small game of checkers and a few fruit snacks.
“Princess, our instructions.” asked the male Pegasus guard.
“Of course Nightsky, your job is to travel to Ponyville and scoop up any earth pony. But be careful, there’s a certain unicorn there with strong powers, so be careful. Also make sure the earth pony you take is healthy. I know this may be hard, but this project won’t work with an old or sick pony.” explained Luna.
“A-any earth pony? Isn’t that dangerous since we don’t know if the pony has a family or not? And why Ponyville specifically?” asked Darkflower.
“Fine, make sure the pony is a adult at the least and Ponyville is a town mostly of earth ponies. Plus my sister already knows that I will be performing this experiment with an earth pony from Ponyville. There’s no danger at all.” replied Luna
“Alright Darkflower, let’s go.” said Nightsky.
“Good luck guards,” called Luna as they flew away into the sunset, “Hide in the cover of my night!”
Darkflower gritted her teeth. Even as the sun was setting it still burned her skin. She finally relaxed once the sun was out of sight. She wondered how they were going to reach Ponyville in one night. Then she remembered Luna’s charm. Every mile they fly, they get teleported another two.
“Hey Nightsky, remember Luna’s charm? It’s about to go in effect soon. Be ready.” warned Darkflower.
“Oh, right.” replied Nightsky.
Just like Darkflower had warned, they were suddenly much farther ahead. Nightsky could see far in the distance a small town. Both of them speed up. A few minutes later they were teleported again. They were finally there.
“Time to snoop around ay Night?” smirked Darkflower.
“ Heh heh, ya. But remember healthy! Wait- did you hear that?”
A door opened creating a rather loud creaking sound. A mare walked out into the sight of the two night guards. She bounced up and down and away.
“I think we have our pony.” said Nightsky.
Darkflower needed no signal. She swooped down at the unknown pony and tied her muzzle shut in a flash, following up with tying her legs, blindfolded her, and stuffed her in a burlap sack.
“All right, use the final charm.” explained Darkflower.
Using the final charm that Luna gave them, both of the night guards teleported back to Canterlot and were back in the throne room. Still blindfolded, Nightsky pulled the unknown mare out of the sack in front of Luna. But the princess gave a look of pure horror at the pony, for that pony she knew. That pony that she had forgotten to warn about.
That pony was Pinkiepie.
No, no, no, no, no….NO!”
Princess Luna cried out, fear echoed in every word. Darkflower looked at her very hooves lost in fearful thought. Darkflower murmured under her breath,
“…No…w-what have I done? I-I have failed h-her highness…”
She dared look at the princess… only to be lightly touched on the shoulder by webbed wing, that of a bat. She looked over to see Nightsky looking at her with a face unexplainable. In the corner of his eyes, tears formed ever so slightly that they never fell over his cheek.
Luna suddenly spread her elegantly feathered wings and, with a hard downbeat, flew above all of the workers. She stared down at Pinkiepie with angry looks, still flaring around in burlap sack, trying to get it off with her still tied-up legs.
“ Ahw wietel ewlp erew?” said Pinkie with her tried up muzzle. *a little help here
Luna’s face suddenly turned in to a furious stare. She could not hold back what she felt, her anger bubbled up inside her and choked her. Her voice grew to the canterlot speaking voice. She turned and glared at her two bat-guards.
“ THOU HAS BETRYED ME! HOW HAS THEY GOTTEN THIS KNOWN PONY!?”
“ L-luna-“ Started Nightsky.
“ SILENCE!!!” Screamed Luna.
“ W-we were j-just following y-your orders. Y-you-“ Tried Darkflower.
“ I SAID SILENCE! SSSSIILLLLLLEEEENNNCCCEEE” SCREAMED Luna even louder.
Nightsky took his wings off of Darkflower’s shoulder and raised them high.
“ HEY! It’s not our fault that YOU didn’t warn us that there were other ponies you knew there!” Shouted Nightsky.
Luna growled and the Nightsky who made such a rude outburst at her. She angled her wings for a flying charge. She lowered her head so that her horn could pierce flesh.
She's gone!"
"WHAAAAAAT?" Said Luna and NightSky together bug-eyed, Luna inches away from Night's heart.
"Well no I'm over here! Hey you got any cake?"
"Get her!" Cried a Bat guard.
"Ooo are we playing chase?! Catch me me!" Giggled PinkiePie.
"Come here, and- AND STOP BOUNCING CELESTIA DARN IT!" Growled the Bat guard.
Pinkie stop dead in her tracks, like literally! She flopped to the floor and started whimpering."You- you don't like to jump, a-and bounce and p-play?"
"Come here!"
"Okay..."
"What in the name of Celestia have I done." A required facehoof was served.
Pinkie now was no longer bouncing!
Expect now she's teleporting. Everywhere. Actually I think a double facehoof is required.
