Libraries were traditionally a place where peace and quiet reigned supreme. But tonight the Golden Oaks library was not living up to that tradition.
From outside the library a clear jostle of giggles and squeals could be heard emanating from the interior. The reason for this commotion was linked to the fact that tonight Twilight was hosting the tri-monthly sleepover amongst her five best friends.
It was imperative that each friend attend each party and it was additionally of the utmost importance that each of them had a tonne of fun.
We join our little pony friends at one of the tensest and best parts of the evening. The part of the evening where every pony played 'Truth or dare'.
It was currently Rainbow Dash's turn to spin the bottle, selecting another pony to choose their fate in the game. The bottle spun recklessly on the floor, as Rainbow Dash of course insisted on giving it the most vigorous turn. Eventually, as every ponies eyes followed the circular path of the bottle, it stopped with its end pointing directly at Rarity who giggled a little at the revelation.
"Alright Rare. Truth, or dare?" Rainbow Dash asked menacingly as the others giggled.
"Oh my gosh! You totally just rhymed!" Pinkie snorted.
Ignoring this statement, Rainbow Dash kept her eyes narrowed on Rarity who had a gentle blush upon her cheeks from the excitement of the game.
"Truth." She selected to Rainbow's dismay.
"Fiiiiiine...." Rainbow rolled her eyes as she tried to think of a way to make this interesting. For a romantic like Rarity it was no use asking something like; Do you have a crush on anypony? No. It had to be something better.
"Hurry it up Rainbow!" Applejack nudged her playfully.
"Okay. Rarity, would you rather..." She narrowed her eyes, trying to seem menacing, "Make out with Discord," every pony gasped, "or eat a bucket of worms." Rainbow grinned as she felt the shock of her question wash over Rarity who detested the thought of both options.
Rarity looked a little paler than usual as she weighed up her choices.
"While the thought of kissing Discord is utterly repulsive..." Rarity began, "I also cannot imagine myself doing something as degrading as eating worms..." Rarity sighed and lost herself in thought.
"Come on Rarity, admit it. You'd love to get in there with Dipcord. That snakey tongue of his crawling around your mouth..." Rainbow sniggered.
Fluttershy shifted uncomfortably as her friends insulted the Draconnequus. After all, he was her friend.
"You know you don't actually have to do either of these things, right?" AJ said.
Humph! Rarity hated her options. "Ohh, this is too hard. I mean it'd be easy to say that you'd kiss Discord so flippantly, but imagine really doing it!" She shuddered involuntarily as she thought about The Lord of Chaos. He probably smelt funky too.
"Don't be so mean. I'm sure it couldn't be THAT bad kissing him. If this were my question, I'd choose Discord." Twilight said supportively of her unicorn friend she knew would never even speak of eating something as disgusting as worms.
"Ooooo!" The girls cooed in unison taking Twilight aback.
"What?"
Pinkie chortled. "Twilight has a thing for Discord!"
The girls laughed.
"What? No! I was only saying that it would be a better option than eating worms. That is hardly an admission of undying love."
"Ah-huh. Sure thing darling." Rarity winked, glad to have the heat taken off her back.
The girls couldn't help giggling some more as Twilight turned a darker shade of purple, her face flooding with red.
"Come on!"
Rarity chuckled again. "It's okay darling, we'll keep your secret. I must say though, I'd rather eat worms."
"Is that your answer?" Rainbow asked shocked.
Rarity nodded.
The girls gasped at what their very proper friend had admitted. All except Twilight. "Now that's just mean! Honestly, worms over Discord?"
"Don't get upset at us coz we're not into the same stuff as you. I'm sure we've all got our little fetishes..." Dash piped up with a smirk.
Twilight huffed but chose to keep her mouth shut. It was all in good fun. She'd get over it in a moment, and so would her friends.
Rarity coughed to gain attention as she spun the bottle gently, making it turn only twice before landing on....
"Twilight?" Rarity's eyes sparkled as she looked at the purple mare who was still cooling off after their little dispute.
Twilight kind of wished that she had had a few rounds to recover before facing her friends in the game again, but these were the breaks.
"Dare." Twilight finally responded with an air of confidence which bespoke an ego recovering a fall.
The fillies gasped again. Whenever somepony did a dare it was a big deal.
All the other mares suddenly huddled forward and spoke in hushed whispers, planning the fate of Twilight Sparkle.
Finally, Rarity returned with a verdict. "It has been decided that your dare is..." She giggled, "to flirt with Discord."
Twilight's jaw fell. "That is NOT fair! He's not even here. How am I supposed to fulfil that dare?"
"You can summon him, remember?" Rainbow Dash butted in with another smirk.
Twilight grimaced. "That spell is for emergencies."
"Your love life IS an emergency, Twilight. Don't try and hide it any longer." Rarity proclaimed with feigned drama.
"I can't use the spell for our game." Twilight replied stubbornly.
"Aw come on, Twi. Where's your sense of adventure? Besides, we all swore to never turn down a dare." AJ reminded. "You're Discords friend, what do you think his reacts will be, Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy squeaked as all eyes turned to her. "Well... Um. I think that, seen as we're talking about Discord, he'll probably think its really funny and get a good laugh out of it."
"Ya see! He'll know it's in good fun!"
Twilight glared at her friends. Even Fluttershy was against her.
"Fine. But only because we agreed no pony could pull out of a dare."
With that, Twilight stood up and prepared to launch the spell, eyes closed, back straight. Her friends suddenly jumped to their feet and ran to hide in various parts of the room.
"Wait. I don't know the first thing about flirting!" Twilight suddenly shouted.
"Oh dear..." Rarity, who had stationed herself near her luggage began to rummage through her bags before pulling out two pairs of striped socks. "Here. Put these on."
Twilight scrunched her nose up as she examined them. "Socks?"
"Uh-huh. They're super hot right now. All the stallions are nutty over them!" Pinkie said knowingly.
Every pony glanced at her curiously.
"What? Caramel's bachelor party was last week and I was in charge of the planning." She explained.
Every pony nodded, particularly Rarity.
Twilight still wasn't sure how socks helped, but she pulled them on anyhow. "And what do I say?"
The girls groaned. "Anything!" Rainbow shouted impatiently. "It's a joke, not a life time commitment, Princess Perfect!"
Twilights ears flopped against her head. "Oh... Right." She chuckled nervously as once again she assumed her pose to begin casting the Discord summoning spell.
A bright spark of rainbow ribbon twirled in the air and spun in several circles before a Draconnequus in a night cap, curled up with his thumb in his mouth and a teddy in his arms appeared on the library floor.
Twilight suddenly felt afraid now that she was faced with The Lord of Chaos himself.
"Um, Discord?" She asked softly.
Discord responded with a loud snort which shook his body before it calmed back into a restful slumber.
"Discord?" She said louder, impatient to get this over with.
This time, the spirit stirred. "Hmm?" Yawning loudly and stretching his mismatched limbs out, Discord blinked his eyes open to see Twilight standing before him in a set of blue striped socks that hugged her hooves right up to her body.
"Nice socks." Discord smirked as his brain continued waking up.
Twilight blushed. How did socks make her feel uncomfortable? "Um, thanks..." She was about to continue when suddenly discord snapped his fingers, dissolving his night cap and teddy bear and bouncing to his hooves.
"So, how can I be of assistance?" Discord asked sarcastically with a bow.
"Well..." Twilight began, her eyes moving all over the room as her mind raced.
"Wait a second! Princess Twilight..." He asked in shock. "Are we here... Alone? At night... With you in those..." He stared a little too long at Rarity's socks. "Socks?" Twilight blinked heavily as she noticed him gulp a little.
She chuckled nervously. Just a little flirting and then this would be over.
"I suppose so..." She said somewhat unsurely, trying to inch away from his glare.
Discord gasped and clutched at his heart, his eyes beginning to glisten. "Twilight... I never knew." He uttered breathlessly.
Twilight was busy trying to step away from him when he suddenly whisked her off her hooves and into his arms, clutching her body to his breast and gazing intently into her eyes.
"This is very sudden. I never knew you were such a romantic. How long have you felt this way?"
Twilight squirmed. "What are you talking about?"
Discord chuckled. "You don't need to hide this from me, I can tell why I'm here."
"You can?"
Twilights jaw dropped as he wriggled his eyebrows. I have to end this quickly. She thought desperately.
Thinking over Rarity's measured she had seen her use, countless times, Twilight made a concerted effort to lower her eyelids and look sultry.
"I mean... Of course you can. How could you not see how utterly... Hopelessly... Attracted I am to you?" She needed to pace herself to make sure she didn't gag between words, but to her surprise, it was relatively easy to pull this off. At the last minute she decided to batter her eyelids a little for emphasis.
Discord was speechless. To be honest, he had been thinking this was some kind of mistake, but the way Twilight was looking at him now made him start to think otherwise.
"Really?" He asked softly.
Twilight nodded, her eyes resting confidently on his yellow and red ones. "How could I not like you. You're so powerful, strong... Confident."
Discord blushed a little. "Am I handsome?"
Twilight nearly lost her act in that moment. "Uh..." She gulped. "Very." She said with a strained look. Hopefully the others would intercede. Surely this was enough.
Discord sighed dreamily and held Twilight tightly against his chest. "Oh Twilight. I never thought you of all ponies would have a thing for me, but I have to say, now I know. I'm actually very glad."
Twilight's eyes bulged. "You are?" She asked, a little horrified.
"Well, I know you're other friends would probably disagree, but I think in many ways we have a lot in common."
"We do?" Twilight felt herself starting to sweat as she fought the urge to kick her way out of his grasp.
Discord's chest rumbled as he chuckled again. "Oh yes! We're both powerful and natural born leaders. And just think, with my knowledge, of all the wonderful things I could teach you! Not to mention that fact that now we've established your physical attraction to me, there is no point concealing the fact that I find you to be likewise."
Twilight couldn't help blushing as Discord finally released her a little and moved his paw and claw to grasp her forehooves. No pony had ever told Twilight she was attractive before. She was sure that was the only reason she was feeling so flattered.
Discord's eyes lingered on her for a moment before, to Twilight's shock, he leaned forward and pressed his lips against hers in a surprisingly passionate kiss.
Twilight's eyes flew open at this, determined to search out her friends and call this off, but she couldn't help closing them again as the Draconnequus wrapped her into an embrace. His lips still pressed against hers, she indeed became suddenly aware of his tongue pushing its way into her mouth, but it didn't bother her.
Her mind raced as it tried to justify her willingness in all this. It's a major learning curve. It finally spat out. This was enough for Twilight as she felt very weak next to Discords imposing frame which was so firmly against her.
Her mind, although calm for a moment began to question things again as Twilights hooves wrapped around the creature before her, pressing his neck quite vehemently.
Discord's claw moved up through her mane, causing her to shiver as her neatly brushed hair was suddenly pushed this way and that. Each inch of her skin that it moved along tingling with pins and needles and making Twilight moan a little.
Discord finally broke the kiss at this, both of them gasping. He smiled before planting another gentler kiss on the end of her muzzle and relinquishing some hold on her.
Twilight was struggling to open her eyes, feeling suddenly hot and dreamy. She wondered if he had cast a spell on her as her eyes fluttered open.
Discords face was still very close to hers and as he saw her returning to a fuller consciousness he couldn't help asking in a low whisper, "what do we do from here, princess?"
Twilight gave him a sultry look as she felt a surge of heat move down her torso at the sound and implication of his voice. She was almost certain he had cast a spell on her as her mind began to race through the outcomes ahead of her but at this point she did not care. Twilight had never had any romance in her life before, and so far, it felt amazing. She wasn't above turning this down before she found out just how wonderful it could be.
Discords paw moved slowly down her back to find her rump where it lingered a moment before squeezing firmly causing Twilight to gasp in excitement.
He was about to lean in to kiss her again, or so Twilight thought, when he deftly moved to pick her up once more and pressing his muzzle lightly against hers, he snapped his fingers bringing the two of them up to her bedroom.
Before Twilight could think anything, she found herself sprawled out on her bed with her four be-socked hooves dangling in the air. Discord chuckled again as his eyes poured over her, making Twilight self conscious again. As if it was a reflex she pressed her lower hooves together as Discord got on all fours above her, his breath warming her face.
Twilight suddenly wondered if this was a good idea as she caught a predatory look in the Draconequus' eyes as he grinned toothily at her. Her stomach feeling a little weak, she shuffled lightly under his gaze.
"Discorrrr..." She began to purr as she was interrupted by an over flow of gentle kisses being distributed along her neck and down to her chest. Her eyelids began to lower again as she felt herself melt under his touch. It wasn’t long before she was jolted to by a sensation she hadn't felt yet.
She lifted her head a little to see Discord opening his jaws to pull at her socks with his teeth, small points of his lower jaw making contact with her coat and leaving minor, wet imprints behind as he pulled at the striped hosiery.
Twilight sighed involuntarily as she felt the socks come away, she was beginning to see why they were so popular. There was something awfully kinky about them.
As he tossed the first sock aside, Twilight sunk back, expecting him to move onto her next forehoof but to her surprise he began kissing his way down her side to her parallel lower hoof.
She gulped a little and re-tensed her lower body as his kisses moved below her thigh to the very base of her hip. Her skin tingled pleasantly as his nose pressed into it and she felt another surge of heat move down to her nether regions as his tongue moved her sock out to be clamped by his jaws.
Although Twilight was more than conscious of Discords presence in such a delicate area, it was becoming difficult to resist the urge to spread her legs apart as her second hoof became free.
Her mind, which always worked over time was analysing this situation with ferocity as it played out and it suddenly remembered a very uncomfortable loose end.
Simultaneously as Discord finished ripping her sock off, Twilight jumped up, remembering her friends who were likely sitting in the library beneath them thinking all kinds of things.
As she jumped up she had hit Discords nose unintentionally, causing him to become lightly disoriented.
"Sheesh, Twilight! If you don't like something I do, you can just say so, no need to get violent..." He grinned toothily again. "Unless if you're into that kind of thing?"
Twilight shook her head, her lustiness falling away to panic as to what to do with her friends. "No, it's... Sorry, I just remembered something!" She pounced quickly to her hooves and took off down the stairs with only two socks remaining to be removed.
Discord could only look puzzled.
"Are you coming back?" He called after her.
He thought maybe she didn't hear him so he slumped back down on the bed feeling a wave of disappointment envelop him, when suddenly the door creaked open again and Twilight pushed her head through, her eyes sparkling brilliantly as she said lowly, "Don't you move, I'll be back before you can say socks." Discords heart thumped as she gave him a wink before trotting away again.
Upon entering the downstairs area of the library, Twilight began searching for her fiends and calling to them in a low voice. But it seemed they had disappeared. In fact, now that Twilight thought about it, their bags were all gone.
It was then that she recognised a note on the table. Picking it up she read:
Dear Twilight,
It seems you’ve had to cancel the sleepover at the last minute. Not to worry, I’ll be more than happy to move it to my place.

Twilight felt herself pale as she imagined the things her friends must be thinking of her. But a selfishness Twilight had never felt before quickly kicked in. Who cared what her friends thought. Tonight was about her and surprisingly enough, it was also about Discord.
Twilight wasn’t about to admit it to anyone, although she suspected that Discord was fully aware at this point, but she couldn’t think about anypony else when she knew he was up in her room waiting for him. Did this mean Twilight was in love with him?
She didn’t know much about love outside of what books said, and their arguments were varied and numerous to the point that it was nearly impossible to find two which agreed on the topic. No, she probably wasn’t in love with him. But who knows what could happen.
Twilight grinned as she thought of an excuse as to why she had suddenly disappeared.

As she re-entered her room she couldn’t help singing out his name.
“Diiiiscooord!” She wriggled her eyebrows at the impatient looking draconequus as she trotted over to her bed, swaying her hips in an exaggerated manner. She stopped for a moment to tear off her remaining socks, keeping a careful hold on something behind her.
Discord couldn’t quite see the thing that Twilight had brought along with her, wrapped in her pink magic, but he soon knew what it was.
Without warning Twilight jumped up onto the bed next to him and giggled as she squirted a line of whipped cream down his chest before jumping onto him and pressing him down beneath her, her eyes burning with desire.
Discord couldn’t help laughing along with her before he put on a very sweet and innocent face and batted his eyelids;
“Please Princess, be gentle...”
