	Lightning Storm and Rainbow Dash sat together on the porch as the storm clouds above rumbled and rolled and the rain beat against the small roof like thing that covered the porch steps. Today had been a hectic day, for some pony had accidently let loose a tornado over Ponyville and Lightning had to stop it. Now both her and Rainbows job were on the line. But Lightning had a question to ask, and she had to ask it now. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? They both just survived a tornado together and they both possibly could get fired, so what better time to purpose than now! 

"Hey Dash?"

"Yeah Storm?"

"I uh... I have to ask you something really serious..."

Rainbow turned to Lightning and tilted her head some in confusion.

"Uh ok... Go ahead and ask..."

Lightning took a deep breath, and began the small speech she had thrown together.

"Rainbow Dash, you know that I love you more than anything in else in Equestria and I swear to Celestia there's no other pony I want to be with than you. I... I want to spend the rest of my life with you Dash, I really do..." As Lightning said the she pulled out the wooden box and opened it to reveal silver necklace with RD's cutie mark dangling made from solid gold.

"Rainbow Dash?" Lightning smiled at her.

"Y-yeah Lightning Storm?" Rainbow blinked now catching on to what was happening.

"Will you marry me?" 

Rainbow Dash was silent, just staring at the necklace in shock. She finally shook her head regaining reality and smiled at Lightning.

"Yes, I will."

And with that, Lightning threw her forehooves around Rainbow Dash and hugged her tightly, feeling RD's forehooves slowly wrap around her and hold her closer. The two sat there like this for the longest time, just enjoying each others embrace. Just knowing that the other is there and will be there was enough to make Lightning happier than any pony else in Equestria.
