I was beginning to stir from my unconsciousness and I noticed that I was in the academy's infirmary, laying on hospital bed, and Jaden, the young Slifer Red, Jesse, and the rest of Jaden's friends were looking at me with worried eyes. "Look, I think he's coming back to us," Jaden said to them, "You alright there Chris?" 
"Yeah," I replied to Jaden feeling a pain in my head, "I'm fine, I just got a headache right now, that's all," putting my right hand on my head, "What happened to me?" 
"You, changed into a berserk duelist when you were trying to help me against James," the young Slifer Red replied to me, "After you beat James, you seemed to go back to your old self, and became unconscious," I started to remember as she continued to tell me what happened, "I then told Jaden and his friends what happened to you and we took you to the infirmary." 
"The part of you becoming a berserk duelist really got our attention," Jesse said to me as Ruby appeared on his shoulder and Winged Kuriboh appeared floating next to Jaden. 

"Um, guys I think that Jaden and Jesse could only understand this better than the rest of you so do you think that you could give us some privacy, please?" I asked to them. 
"Umm... Sure Chris," Jaden's friend Alexis said as they left leaving me, Jaden, and Jesse to talk with Winged Kuriboh, Ruby, and my duel monster spirit friends at our side. 
"Okay, I never told you this when we first met, there are two cards that are so powerful that they can corrupt me until the duel is over," I explained to them, "Jaden could you get me my deck for me?" 
"Sure thing Chris," Jaden said as he grabbed my deck from it's carrier and gave it to me.
"Thank you Jaden," I thanked him as I went through my deck searching for the two cards, but until... "Here we are, these are the two," I said as I handed them the cards, they were my trap card The Master and the Student and Shadow Sniper.




"These two cards?" Jaden asked me. 
"That's right Jaden Yuki," a voice said from out of nowhere and then King Sombra in his adult form appeared with Shadow Sniper by his side, "This my apprentice the Shadow Sniper, just like Twilight is to Princess Celestia." 
"But why couldn't you guys do anything to help Chris fight back Shadow Sniper's control?" Jesse asked my duel monster spirit friends with a confused looks on their faces. 
"Because..." Princess Celestia started, but hesitated a little bit before continuing, "We can not, we're powerless against Shadow Sniper's dark powers." 
"His darkness starts to infect us if we tried to resist his dark and powerful will," Twilight joined in the conversation, "Not even the Elements of Harmony can stand up to him and destroy him." 

"That's right my dear Twilight," Shadow Sniper said to Twilight with an evil smirk on his face, but the lower part of his face was covered by his green mask so we couldn't see it, "Now not even the Crystal Heart can destroy me, thanks to Chris here." 
"Your one sick puppy, you know that," Jaden said to the Shadow Sniper.
"Of course I do Jaden," Shadow Sniper said sounding a little bit ticked off, "In fact I will actually have some real fun when you and Chris duel each other." 
"We'll see about that, Shadow Sniper," Neos said to Shadow Sniper appearing behind Jaden, "Villains always have their weaknesses." 
"You do know that not even you Neo-Spacians can do nothing to defeat me Neos," Shadow Sniper stated to Neos, "Even when you merge together with your Neo-Spacian partners, it won't even make a difference against me." 

"Just be gone with you Shadow Sniper!" I yelled at him, "You and Sombra have said quite enough and in fact you two have been here long enough, so go, Now!" 
"Very well then Chris," King Sombra said to me, "Come now my apprentice, let's leave them to their troubles." 
"As you wish, my master," Shadow Sniper said as they disappeared back into their cards. 
"I don't even know why Shadow Sniper chose me to be his owner," I said feel really annoyed with Shadow Sniper. 
"I'm guessing it's just fate, Chris," Jaden said to me as he puts his hand on my shoulder, "But don't worry we'll help you and your friends fight back against Shadow Sniper." 

I smiled, "Thank you so much you guys," I said to them, "But I should get some rest since we'll have class soon." 
"I agree with you Chris," Princess Celestia said nodded to me, "You should rest and regain your strength that you used up in resisting against Shadow Sniper."
"Well, I guess I'll see you two later then," I said to Jesse and Jaden.
"Sure pal, we'll see you later," Jesse said as he Jaden left the room so that I could rest. 
'I sure do have some friends here in Duel Academy,' I said in my thoughts as I fell asleep thinking of my new friends here in Duel Academy.
