Shining traveled over to the first palace and saw that he had to cross through a small wooded area to get there. Shining saw that there was a path through the forest, but just as he thought he was trough it he saw two pathways. Shining went down the left path and saw that he was being followed by a monkey. By the time he reached the palace the monkey was right next to him.
Shining saw that the door was blocked by a stone door and he said, “How am I supposed to get through that?”
The monkey said, “Let me help you.”
Shining asked, “How can you help me?”
The monkey replied, “I am Sweetie, I can move the lever on top of the building if you give me an apple.”
Shining said, “Sure I will give you an apple if you open the door first.”
Sweetie replied in a sing song voice, “I get an apple if I open the door, open the door, open the door.”
Shining noticed she had a beautiful singing voice like that of his long lost cousin. Just as he saw the door open she came back down to get her apple. Shining pulled an apple out of his bag and gave it to the cute little monkey.
Shining asked her before she left, “What is your full name by chance?”
Sweetie replied, “My full name back in the light world is Sweetie Belle.”
Shining gasped and said, “Sweetie it is me, Shining remember?”
Sweetie gasped and said, “Shining, I am so happy to see you again. When you leave this temple can you take me back to the light world?”
Shining replied, “Yes I bet your mom would love to see you again.”
The two agreed on a place to meet at right at the doors of the palace. Sweetie looked in awe as her cousin walked into the dark palace to rescue the maiden in there. Shining knew that he had found a lost member of his family.
