	Shining ran through the forest looking for the entrance to the grotto of the master sword. Shining saw a sword in a stump and thought it was the master sword. He pulled it out of the stump and it crumbled to dust. Shining realized this was a fake of the sword and he had to look in a more secluded spot. As he ventured through the forest he saw an old fallen tree, on the side was a tunnel going through the log’s center.

Shining went through the log and saw he was in a small clearing at the end of it was a pedestal. Shining went over to the pedestal and saw that there was some writing on the front of it. He deciphered it and saw that it told the lore of the master sword. Shining saw that the sword was forged from the pure steel alloy only know to a few sword smiths.

The legend said, “On the eve of the land’s demise a hero shall pull the sword from this stone pedestal. That hero will have collected the Pendants of Virtue and pull this sword out of the stone and awaken it powers. This hero shall rescue seven maidens in a cursed land that was once a sacred world.”

Shining went up to the back of the pedestal and climbed up to the sword and pulled it out of its pedestal. Shining saw that the sword his uncle gave him disappeared and was gone. Shining raised the sword and heard a voice come through his pendant and yell for help. Shining decided to dash over to the church and see what had happened.

Shining came into the secret chamber and saw that the priestess of the church was lying on the floor dying. Shining asked her what had happened here. She replied that the royal guard came and recaptured the princess and took her back to the castle. Just as she finished she died, Shining swore that he would avenge her death. So he left and ran to the castle and saw the princess being taken it the entrance to the castle’s tower.
