Rainbow dash was making her daily rounds when she heard a distant cry, so she flew towards the sound and Fluttershy’s house. She landed a little way off and saw five nasty looking ponies approaching Fluttershy. Rainbow dash heard some of what those bucking idiots were saying, and she didn’t like it one bit.
She flew hard and fast towards Fluttershy. Just as one of the ponies was about to touch her, Rainbow dash arrived.
She flew in between Fluttershy and the harassing pony, standing strong almost screaming loyalty.
Rainbow dash yelled at the ponies
“YOU STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!”
Fluttershy looked up at Rainbow dash and blushed lightly, thanking her quietly. Rainbow dash turned her head to face Fluttershy.
“No prob-” BANG! A hoof collided into Rainbow dash’s stomach, winding her and knocking her down. Fluttershy leant down and looked at the poor Rainbow dash, then up to the pony that had done it.
She stood up and tried to look as tough as possible, in her loudest voice she yelled.
“How could you!” The ponies just laughed and continued to walk towards Fluttershy.
“You know Fluttershy, your awful pretty.” He pushed Fluttershy over and tried to climb on top of her, Fluttershy screamed and tried to push him off.
“Stop! Stop! Please!” The ponies around her just laughed at her cries.
Fluttershy started to kick and wriggle but the other ponies held her down, she kept screaming and crying out. Then she just stopped fighting, what was the point of fighting if she couldn’t get out herself.
Just as Fluttershy had given up all hope of rescue, she heard a voice.
“Stay away from Fluttershy!” Then the weight of the pony on top of her was gone, Fluttershy curled up in a ball on her side, scared that it was some sort of terrible trick being pulled on her by the ponies.
She heard fighting and angry cries all around her. Then after what felt like an eternity, all Fluttershy could hear was the frantic sound of pounding hooves and wings beating heavily.
Above the noise, she heard a stallions voice say “Fine! We don’t want her anyway!”
Fluttershy was quivering gently, her eyes still shut, the sounds had faded but she could still hear someone breathing heavily. After several moments of this going by Fluttershy opened one of her eyes slightly. From her position she had to look up, and she saw a magnificent sight.
There stood Rainbow dash glaring in the direction of the escaping ponies, but Fluttershy wasn’t concentrating on the ponies. It was Rainbow dash she was in awe of.
Her rainbow mane flowing gently in the wind, her glorious wings spread out in an act of aggression. She looked like she would kill anything that moved, yet when a pained moan escaped Fluttershy’s mouth. Rainbow dash turned around, her wings tucked safely away and a worried expression on her face.
Fluttershy tried getting up but her back and legs hurt, making her wince and stumble. Rainbow dash moved closer to help.
She said in her most concerned voice “Are you ok? Did they hurt you?”
Fluttershy stood up and flapped her wings gently, her head feeling a little sore. She then turned to face Rainbow dash and put her front legs around Rainbow dash’s neck, hugging her softly so she didn’t hurt herself more.
“Thank you…” Fluttershy said in a tiny voice before falling limp onto Rainbow dash, clearly exhausted from the traumatic event.
Rainbow dash put her hooves around Fluttershy and held her in her arms.
“It’s ok…”
