Me, Rarity, and Fluttershy were climbing the large hill, determined to reach the top. We were just passing the tree line so I could kind of see the top. There seemed to be tons of iron ore up there which is unusual. My hooves were aching, I thought the ground was bad, traveling up hill is awful and Rarity would not shut up about it! I could understand her frustrations as we climbed the steep hill.
Ah, My good friend Hidden Blade, or Edward or Mark or whoever the crap you are! 'Calm down, why are you all heated up?' You annoy me you little creature! 'What are you talking about? I did your dumb chores, even though they barely are-' Shut up! You're trying to escape! 'No way.' Why don't you stay, pull up a chair and watch the sun sets while you smooch your blue partner and run away from the villain.
'Because that's stupid.' Your stupid. You've never been happier. 'I have been happier. Look, I enjoy this place very much, and that's why I must leave.' So you'd rather doom your world then here? 'No, your not getting it. I can defeat Kram in my world but I can't here, even with the element things.' You doubt them? 'Doubt what?' Your friends, the elements! 'Well... come on! No you come on! Listen up you idiot! 'Wow buster! I've probably accomplished more than you have, probably more than the whole pony race and the human race!'
Your not street smart though. Listen, this experience is a great thing, you need to know what it is like to be normal. 'Because talking ponies are oh so normal.' No! Just listen! You can't do it all! You can't be everywhere at once running the show. 'Watch m-' You need more than allies, you need friends.
"Why!?" I yelled out. "What?' Fluttershy asked. I shook my head. I was almost in a trance where I was just walking. I looked back at Fluttershy who was looking at me concerned. "Nothing, just, uh, memories." I lied. The voice was gone, I have no idea wha it was getting at, I don't even know who it is!
"Hurry up, we're almost up!" Rarity said who was actually ahead of us. We trotted up to meet the top and finally we were there. I saw over the whole Everfree and in fact Ponyville wasn't that far away. "Hidden, we made it. There's the iron." Rarity said gesturing to a rock wall behind me shining with ores.
Before I had a chance to do anything we heard another voice. "I told you they'd be up here." We looked over and saw Spike, Applejack and Rainbow Dash. "Guys, you're alright!" Dash said at the sight of us. She flew down beside me.
"Let me guess you looked after them." Dash said. "Actually, it was a shared effort." I admitted. "Where's Pinkie and Twi?" Rarity asked Applejack. "They went their own way, don't know what happened there." She replied. "Well Hidden how we going to get the ore?" Fluttershy asked.
"I'll use me magic." I replied. I focused on cutting out the ore. But then my focus was broken by a deadly voice. "Target has been located. Mark Ray. Objective: Elimination." I quickly jetted around and we were greeted by Kramton climbing the side of the hill. "What did he just call you?" Spike asked. "H-how?" Is all I managed
The robot then turned and looked at Applejack who was taking a defensive position. "Species: Pony. Has damaged me before. If you try again you will be killed." It threatened. I walked up to him. "How do you know I'm Mark Ray, what if I'm just another pony?"
"Your name's not Hidden Blade?" Dash asked. I ignored. "Your outer fabrication does not hide your inner DNA." It replied. "What's it talking about?" Applejack asked.
I was digging my own grave by asking these questions. The robot back handed me into the rock. "Hey!" Fluttershy yelled. "You big meanie quit-" She was cut off when the robot clutched her in it's fist. "You hunk of junk!" Spike yelled throwing rocks at it. It picked up Spike as well. "You rude animals need to be taught a lesson." The robot stated.
Dash then rammed it and it almost lost its footing. But Rainbow was hurt more in the collision than anything. Applejack then bucked it and it dropped Fluttershy and Spike who ran and hid. Rarity ran over to me. "I don't care what the robot is saying about you, but what do we do?" She asked. "Dodge!' I yelled as me and Rarity jumped out of it's fist punching, it got stuck in the hull. I then Charged up my horn with any remained magic and blasted extreme heat into it.
In retaliation it ripped it's hand from the wall. I then started hearing a cracking noise. "Wait a second." I looked over and sat the hill top crack and then crumble. "Everybody, er pony. Run!" I yelled as giant chunks of rock began rolling down to us. We began running to the edge but Kramton was there.
"Running is-" It was cut off by a pink blur go flying into its face causing the robot to fall. The pink blur revealed itself to be Pinkie Pie. Way to go Pinkie!" Applejack cheered. The rocks began rolling by and we were barely dodging until many of them were wrapped in a purple aura. "Over here!" Twilight yelled from seemingly safe point. She was obviously struggling under the weight of the rocks.
Using literally all my remaining power to help her hold back the rocks, the others managed to get over there. I started walking there but my head was going fuzzy and I could barely move. I think I used to much magic. I had to let go of the rocks. So I did, but Twilight wasn't ready so some pulled from her grasp and hit the others and rocks were sent everywhere.
I jumped out of the way of one as another just missed me. "Twilight, get the out of here!" I yelled. She began focusing her magic on I guess teleporting them. But, like a bowling pin, I was hit and sent flying through the air. Pain was ripping through me as the impact had been factored in. I couldn't move my legs and I missed the ledge and started falling to the forest below. I heard Dash yelled 'No!' and a purple beam flash meaning they teleported.
I can usually think fast but nothing was going through my mind. Just... nothing... But I saw a flash of blue and rainbow come over me and the ground began leaving me. I turned to my rescuer and it was Rainbow. She must have escaped the teleport. "You alright?" She asked. It took me a second to reply. "Yeah...now I am at least." We flew for a few silent seconds before Dash spoke.
"Now what, the iron ore has fallen some where in the everfree." "Screw it." I said. I had no back up plan now, my mind was blank. I could care less about going home or even about Kram. I had put my friends in danger, and that is not cool. "Dash, sorry about all this, it's not worth it. I'm not going to try this again." I said. "What do you mean?" She asked looking into my eyes as we were leaving the everfree.
I was bout to answer but then I heard an oddly familiar voice. "This is for thinking I was evil." I looked up and saw the grey, cross eyes mare from, I don't even remember! But she stomped on the stormy looking cloud. Dash looked over. "Wait, Derpy no!" She yelled but it was too late, a golden lightning beam shot out and hit Dash which sent the blast through me.
It was all fuzzy, all I remember was falling and then blacking out for moment.
My body was so numb when I woke up. My vision was pure white and all I could hear was a buzzing sound. But eventually, I could see and hear and I saw Twilight standing near me with an angry expression, I saw the test have surprised or disgusted faces. At first I had no idea what was wrong. I figured they would be asking if I was okay.
"What?" I asked casually as they were all staring at me. I then realized my voice was higher. My body lost the numbing and I felt everything. "Wait." I said as I lifted up my hooves. But they were hands, with five fingers each. I wiggled them and stretched them. I was human again but how. Wait, my watch, the last command I put on it was to change me back, and it just got powered!
"Hidden!" Twilight yelled at me. I jumped up and wobbled a bit, I was just getting used to hooves. I also was considerably taller than the others at my fully height. "Y-your the creature from th-the book." Dash said backing away with the others. "You're deception." Twilight yelled pointing a hoof at me.
I put my hands up for defense. "Wait, guys. I...I can explain." I started. "Blade why?" Spike said hiding behind Twilight. "Guys, I-" I was cut off by the worst voice I could ever hear. "am a lying, cheap, low life, selfish, abusive, pathetic human. You would be correct Mark, or should I call you Hidden Blade. It seems that's what you got them believing." I knew that voice and holy cow it made me mad.
It was Kram.
