When me and my duel spirit friends made it to the Slifer Red dorm, got my uniform, we were ready to just kick back and relax, but then we started hearing something out in the distance. "You guys hear that?" I asked Fluttershy, Sunset Shimmer, and Shining Armor.
"Yeah, we heard it," Shining Armor replied.
"I wonder what's going on," Fluttershy said nervously.
"Let's go find out and see," I said getting up from my bed and went outside to look to whoever or whatever made that noise, "It sounds like it's coming from over there guys," I said to my duel spirit friends pointing at some bushes.
"Well let's go and see what's going on," Sunset Shimmer said impatiently.
"A-are you sure, Sunset Shimmer?" Fluttershy asked her with a worried look on her face, "Because we don't even know who or what's making that noise."
"Don't worry about anything Fluttershy," I said to my duel spirit friend putting my hand on her head and petted her, "Remember that you still got me to protect you from anything."
As I removed my hand from Fluttershy's head, she looked at me with a smile, "Thank you Chris." As I pushed through the bushes, I finally saw what was making that noise; it was a Obelisk Blue picking on a young, fellow Slifer Red who was crying.
"This is just a sad scene here," Shining Armor said to me quietly.
"I know Shining Armor," I whispered to him in agreement, "I should really teach this Obelisk a lesson," as I was starting to get furious at the Obelisk Blue for picking on the young Slifer Red, "But should I?" I asked them with a whisper.
"I think you really should give that guy a lesson when you pick on a Slifer Red," Sunset Shimmer said to me, "You mess with one Slifer Red, you mess with them all."
"I think he should be taught a lesson," Shining Armor agreed with Sunset Shimmer as I walked towards the Obelisk Blue and the young Slifer Red.
"Hey pal!" I said to the Obelisk Blue and he turned to look at me, "Leave that young Slifer Red alone or else."
"Or else what?" the Obelisk Blue asked me as Sunset Shimmer and Rainbow Dash appeared on my right as they gave me a nod.
"Or I'll challenge you to a duel," I replied to him.
"Fair enough," the Obelisk Blue said, "Let's see what you got kid," as our duel disks went online.
"Chris to you, um..."
"The name is James," he replied to me.

"I play the spell card, Stained glass of Destiny," I said to James showing him my card, "This lets me draw four cards, but in exchange, I have to discard one card," as I drew my four cards and they were Flash Sentry...

Then I sent Spike to the Graveyard, 'Sorry Spike, old pal,' I said to Spike in my thoughts, 'But I'll bring you back soon,' as I looked back at James, "I'll play the field spell known as the Empire of Crystals," I said to him placing my field in the field spell zone as our surroundings changed into the plaza in the Crystal Empire, "And next I'll summon Rarity in defense mode," I continued as Rarity took the field in defense mode, "You ready Rarity?" I asked her.
"Oh, I'm most certainly 'am," Rarity replied.
"And finally I'll place one card face down and end my turn," I finished placing my face down, "It's your move James."
"Finally, my draw," James said pulling his first card from his deck, "For my first move I summon my Skilled White Magician in attack mode," as his Skilled White Magician appeared on the field, "Now, Skilled White Magician go and attack Rarity."
At the last the second when Rarity was just getting scared of being destroyed again, "Not going to happen James because I activate my trap card," I said to James as my Hong Kong Fury trap card revealed it's self, "Hong Kong Fury; with this trap card I can call out my HongKongSniper to the field in attack mode," then the trap card summoned forth HongKongSniper to the field in ATK mode...
"What?" James exclaimed to me in surprise as he saw HongKongSniper block the attack of his Skilled White Magician.
"There is also a catch to my Hong Kong Fury," I continued to him, "You see since I activated Hong Kong Fury and special summoned HongKongSniper, HongKongSniper can can attack one of your monster that have attack points that are less than his own so you know what to do HK attack with Hong Kong Samurai Slash!"
"Games over bub," he said to Skilled White Magician striking the magician in the center of his body and made the Skilled White Magician blow up into powder and dust.

"Good show you two," Rarity said to me and HongKongSniper with relief.
"It was nothing Rarity," HongKongSniper said to her, "But right now we have to focus on the task at hand."
"HK is right about that Rarity," I agreed with HongKongSniper.
"I'll place two cards face down and end my turn," James finished placing his face downs.
"Alright then, here goes nothing," I said drawing my next card from my deck and it was Monster Reborn, "Okay, I'll start of this turn by switching Rarity into attack mode," as Rarity was switched into ATK mode, "And activate her special effect; so for every spell card in my hand she gets a 300 attack point boost."

"And since HK is the only Gmod Warrior type monster on my side of the field, I get to draw three cards from my deck to my hand," I continued as I drew my three cards and they were my King Sombra-Lord of Dark Magic...

And... Oh no... It was my trap card The Master and the Student...
'Oh no, not this card,' I thought to myself as I felt a darkness within me was trying to control me, but I tried to fight back, even though it was causing me pain when I tried to fight back the darkness, "AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" I cried in pain as I was trying to stop the darkness from taking me over and HongKongSniper and Rarity turned to look at me in complete shock.
"Chris, what's wrong?" Shining Armor asked me in his duel spirit form as he, Snowdrop, Fluttershy, Sweetie Belle, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Sunset Shimmer gathered around me with worried looks on their faces.
"He must have drawn the trap card that he swore not to use in any duel in any circumstances," Princess Luna said to them mentioning The Master and the Student trap card, "Come on Chris, you can fight and control the darkness that's trying to control you."
"I-I... Can't, it's just too strong!" I said to them as I couldn't keep on fighting the darkness inside of me any longer and let it to take total control of me.
"Chris!" the young Slifer Red called out to me.
I managed to get back up on my feet, but I had change; a glowing aura of purple enveloped me, my eyes started glowing green, and I now wasn't in control of myself. I began to laugh evilly, "Come now James, let's continue this duel," I said to him, "I play the spell card called Pony's Corruption; by sending one non-Dark Pony type monster to the Graveyard, I call out one level 5 or higher Dark Pony type monster to the field without making a sacrifice to summon that high leveled monster, and so I send Rarity to the Graveyard in order to special summon King Sombra-Lord of Dark Magic in attack mode," as Rarity disappeared from the field and the adult King Sombra took her place, "Now, HongKongSniper attack James directly with Hong Kong Samurai Strike!" I ordered HK as the darkness also took him over and he did my bidding and struck James with his katana sword.

I gave another evil laugh, "So how does it feel to be struck by the power of shadows?" I asked him, "Soon my next monster shall show you what I'am truly made of, but for now I place a card face down, and end my turn," I finished placing my card face down on the field, "But I hope that you can survive long enough to play your next card because when it will be my turn, I shall really make you squirm."
"We'll see about that," James said as he drew his next card, "I play the Dark Magic Curtain to special summon my Dark Magician to the field in attack mode if I pay half of my life points," then his Dark Magician took to the field in ATK mode.

"You forget about King Sombra has more attack points than your Dark Magician," I chuckled.
"That maybe so, but now I play Polymerization to fuse Dark Magician with Buster Blader that's in my hand to fusion summon Dark Paladin in attack mode," James said as his Polymerization revealed it's self as one of the face downs and Dark Magician and Buster Blader merged together to form Dark Paladin, "Now Dark Paladin attack HongKongSniper," he ordered and Dark Paladin struck HongKongSniper forcing HK to explode also sending off my feet.

I got back up and said, "You think that your Dark Paladin shall help you win this duel, well your wrong because with every blow you deal me with only makes me stronger."
"I'll end my turn by playing my Book of Secret Arts to raise my Dark Paladin's attack and defense points by 300," he finished.
Dark Paladin: ATK: 3200
"My turn, I draw," I said pulling the next card from the top of my deck and it was my Slender Symbol spell card... 
"Christopher," King Sombra said to me as I looked at him, "It's time to call him."
I nodded, "Fair enough," I said to him as my trap card revealed it's self, "I play my trap known as The Master and the Student; with this card, if I have King Sombra-Lord of Dark Magic out on my side of the field, I can special summon from my deck... King Sombra's own student, The Shadow Sniper to the field in attack mode," I roared as Dark Magic enveloped the trap card, then a burst of that Dark Magic came out of the trap card, and started taking form of a Warrior that almost looked like HK, but was far more different...
"And thanks to his special ability he gains 400 attack points for every trap card in my Graveyard and I have two in my Graveyard right now," I explained his special effect to James, "Making him stronger than your Dark Paladin."
"Shadow Sniper," Princess Celestia called out to Shadow Sniper, "Release Christopher from your grip this instant."
"I don't think so Princess," Shadow Sniper said to Celestia in a cold hearten voice, "He has rejected me from duel, after duel, after duel, so I'am going to make sure he gets to summon me one way or another this duel." This horrified the Princess of the Sun greatly for she realized that not even she could do anything now to stop Shadow Sniper from getting what he wants.
"Now, Shadow Sniper, it's time to end this duel with Hyper Dark Magic Blast!" I ordered him as he did so and shot a huge blast of Dark Magic at Dark Paladin shattering him instantly when the blast hit the spellcaster like a freight train also sending James flying into a tree from the force of the blast.

Soon Shadow Sniper finally let's go of my grip and I was back to my old self again. I soon fell right on to the ground unconscious from the dark powers that were controlling me during the duel. "There," Shadow Sniper said to Celestia and the others around her, "I got my chance and now he is free from my grip, are you happy now, Princess?"
"Not so happy as you think, Shadow Jerk," Rainbow Dash said to Shadow Sniper, "Look at what you done to Chris, he's now weaker after your little stunt you pulled there."
"Says the mare who can not become a Wonderbolt herself," Shadow Sniper insulted her.
"WHY YOU LITTLE...!" Rainbow Dash said as she was just about ready to pound the living daylight's out of Shadow Sniper, but was stopped by Applejack, "What's the big deal Applejack?"
"You know darn well that your not powerful enough to challenge Shadow Sniper in a fight," Applejack replied to her best friend, "He has Dark Magical powers beyond what the Elements of Harmony can do alone."
"Your friend is right Rainbow Crash," Shadow Sniper said to the sky blue Pegasus pony, "You wouldn't even have a chance against me, even with your little Elements of Harmony can do little to defeat me and my powers."
