	Shining left the village and ran toward the eastern hills to find the elder. He went past his house and then over a bridge to the eastern hills. When Shining got to the hills he climbed up several sets of stairs, then he thought that a stone statue was following him. Shining knew this was impossible, but every time he stopped to take a breather the same stuatue was behind him. Shining turned around saw that the statue was following him, he pulled out a bomb from his bag, lit the fuse, and placed it in front of the statue.

“KA-BOOM”

Shining looked at the rubble and said, “Well that was pretty cool, well I better get to his house.”

Shining walked down the path until he saw a small house in a dip between two hills. Shining walked down the hill and entered the house. He saw that it had a small clay stove, a straw bed, a small wooden table, six small wooden chairs, and several bookshelves lined with books.

Shining asked the man, “Are you Sahahasmac?

The man answered, “Eeyup.”

Shining asked, “What do I need to do to help save Equesrule?”

Sahahasmac replied, “So you are the one my wife Cheerilee told me about. I have to test you to see if you are really the hero of legend.”

Shining asked, “What is my test sir?”

Sahahasmac replied, “Go to the palace to the east of here and get the pendant of courage. Once you have it come back here I have gift to give to the hero of legend if you are him.”

Shining said, “Okay I will get it and come right back.”

Shining left the house and went over to the palace, it was huge compared to the castle of Equesrule. He soon was at the base of the stairs of the palace. Shining took a deep breath and started to climb up the stairs to the palace entrance to get the pendant of courage. He knew that it would have several dangerous monsters and possibly traps, but he knew that he had to save the princess.
