German Battleship Bismarck

Sink the Bismarck

After it's rudder being jammed by one of those blasted British torpedoes by Fairey Swordfish torpedo-bombers, the German Battleship Bismarck, who was been injured by HMS Prince of Wales a few days, is sailing back towards the waiting guns of her enemies, and without steering, she is hopeless. Admiral Gunther Lutjens, admiral of the German fleet a few days prior with the Bismarck and Heavy Cruiser Prinz Eugens, sends a message to the German High Command, and it was his last words.

"Schiffs unmaneuverable. Wir werden bis zum letzten Schale kämpfen. Lang lebe der Führer."

>Next Day<

The German Ship is still sailing when the British arrived to bombard the Bismarck, and also avenge the death of HMS Hood, the once pride ship of the British Navy. In HMS King George V, Admiral John Tovey formulates his battle plan. He splits his forces in order to split the eight 15" guns of the German Battleship, and bombard it mercilessly. In a time of May 24, 1941, HMS Rodney fired the first shot towards Bismarck, followed by HMS King George V. The armor-piercing shells misses it's target, and the German Battleship strikes back.

Both sides still misses, and with each every shot, they adjust their aiming towards their enemy. Bismarck fires at Rodney, but she misses. Then, the British sailors strikes Bismarck thanks to HMS Rodney. The British have the range, and let loose of everything of what they have. The German Battleship is pounded shell after shell, and a German survivor describes:

"Muscheln waren überall treffen, und wir können auch nicht schnell genug trainieren wegen der Geschwindigkeit, die sie haben."

Then, King George V's 14" guns makes a critical hit. One of it's shells hit the German Battleship in the firing control, and the British still keeps hitting the helpless Battleship. Moments later, HMS Dorsetshire and HMS Norfolk joined the fight, and the British still keeps firing away. A few minutes later, with two last salvos of it's forward guns, the Bismarck fell silent. The three British ships sails away, leaving HMS Dorsetshire to fire it's torpedoes. But the Germans have other plans, and a few moments before the British torpedoes could hit the German superstructure, she was scuttled, but in a great cost of life, losing 2090 of her 2200 men inside. Only 110 sailors survived from Bismarck's sinking. It will be remembered in history, but what they don't know, is that the Bismarck is still alive, not from the structure of her sister ship Tirpitz, but elsewhere.

>Equestria, Manehattan<

It was a sunny day in Equestria, including the port city of Manehattan. This is where the Equestrian Navy was born thanks to a breakthrough in sea technology, the 'water-carriage' or ship. It was used in a variety of purposes, but since it was in it's infancy, it still didn't have weapons of it's own, so it need help from the Royal Guards.

In the port itself lies the Equestrian 2nd Fleet, compromise of 20 'water-carriages', with it's lead ship, HMES Harmony, and the lead Admiral, Iron Hoof. Iron Hoof, previously known to be one of the most talented in the Royal Guard, is a volunteer as an Admiral in the newly formed Equestrian Navy. Although 2 months in service, he has the fleet in check to make sure nothing is damaged. The fleet is 5 months old, but it didn't even get to have a full-fleged deployment, unlike the Equestrian 1st Fleet, compromising 30 ships, who have two deployments, it's sister. Today, however, was a new day for the 2nd fleet, and for good reason. It would be in it's first deployment mission, being trade ships towards the nation of Zebrica, wherein Zecora was born. Iron Hoof, in the face of his fellow sailors, briefs them of the deployment.

"Stallions of the 2nd Fleet, there is good news to us all! Today, in this very day, we will be deployed for the very first time." He said in a very short, but memorable speech. In an instant, all of the sailors cheered in joy, knowing that it's gonna be a day for them. Goods were being loaded to all of the 20 ships, indicating it would be a trading mission, but it's fine for the sailors, because that trading is one of their perks. Before they could leave, Iron Hoof checks his list of ships in the fleet.

They go as follows:
1. HMES Harmony
2. HMES Canterlot
3. HMES Manehattan Harbor
4. HMES Ponyville
5. HMES Equestrian Justice
6. HMES Wonderbolts
7. HMES Train of Justice
8. HMES Generosity
9. HMES Kindness
10. HMES Loyalty
11. HMES Laughter
12. HMES Honesty
13. HMES Magic
14. HMES Crazy Horse
15. HMES Royalty
16. HMES Crystal
17. HMES Unity
18. HMES Peace
19. HMES Love
20. HMES Giggle

'Perfect.' Iron Hoof happily thought as all of his ships are present in the immediate area. After his check list is complete, and some minor checking, the Equestrian 2nd Fleet, now in the trading mission, set sails for a 3 months voyage.

>Equestrian Sea, Unknown location<

In an unknown location in the Equestrian Sea, there lies a ship who holds immense power that it could destroy everything in it's path. Feared by it's enemy, Great Britain, it holds an arsenal of weapons that the Royal Guards could not rival of. The ship, once guarded by a Heavy Cruiser, was heavily damaged by a British Battleship, and being sunk by a British Fleet, some distance away from France. But still, fear was still present because of her sister ship still in the waters of Nazi-occupied territories.

Christened in February 14, 1939, it was the most feared battleship in all of Britain. It was a fortress of guns and steel, that it's intention was to destroy every warship in the Allied fleet, including the poorly defended convoys. It was so feared, that it was being hunted and sunk by the British Navy.

Drifting in 10 knots in the Equestria due north, 180 miles north-east from the Equestrian 2nd Fleet, and 200 miles from Manehattan Harbour, it awaits it's sailors to be awakened, ready to take on any adversary it would face. It's name would be infamous to the history of the Equestrian Navy.

The German Battleship Bismarck.
