The Adventures Of Tom.

Tom- by Bugenhagen

The early morning light filtered through the library windows illuminating the Ponyville library.
Tom did not notice however being that he is a rock. He also did not notice when Spike walked down the stairs to make breakfast.
“Oh hey Tom.” Said the drowsy dragon.
Tom didn’t reply, for he was a rock, and rocks don’t have mouths to reply with.
Spikes eyes shot wide open as he realized that there was actually a huge rock in the middle of the library, and one that managed to captivate Rarity more than Spike could ever dream to.
“Tom…”
Tom did not hear Spike because rocks do not have ears to hear with.
The small dragon now leaned over the humble rock with an evil smile on his face as he was planning what pain to inflict upon his rival in love. It was too late for Spike to do anything though because the extra weight of Spike on the floor of the library made the floor cave, and the duo crashed to the basement.
Thankfully for Spike, Tom landed first with Spike face planting the floor next to him. Not so thankfully for Spike, Tom decided that the best way to cheer Spike up from his malice was to give him a hug.
“Oh no!” yelled the infant dragon, he struggled to do anything that might help him escape the loving embrace of his crush’s lover.
Tom couldn’t hear him scream because he was a rock, and like has been stated before, does not ears.
Spike let out a crunching noise as Tom rolled on top of him, and released a scroll teleporting spell over him and Tom, and the fumes of dragon breathe over took them.

Celestia was standing in front of the vault containing the elements of harmony, just as Tom appeared right in front of her.
“Hello Tom, what brings you audience to my attention?”
Tom stayed silent, for his body language said it all.
“Is that so?” Asked the princess, “Well in that case- Oh my”
She saw Spike wedged against the vault door, and Tom.
“Well Spike, looks like you’re stuck against a rock and a hard place”
If Tom could laugh he would have, but he is a rock and rocks can’t laugh
