"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie!"
Chase screamed, "Ah! It's the pink one!! Noooooo!".
"Defiantly in PonyVille."
"Yep".

The energetic pink pony smiled at the trio. Emily's and Christa's expressions were blank, as this was just Pinkie Pie saying 'Hi', and being too forward. Chase, on the other hand, was rolling on his back trying to stand up and run away. He had watched enough MLP to know that Pinkie Pie is crazy and he should run, or maybe it was because the last thing he and the girls had watched before he went to bed was 'Cupcakes HD'. Either way he wanted to run...and he should. RUN, CHASE RUN!! ...Anyway, Pinkie was staring at them. After a moment, she repeated herself. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! What's your name?!"
"Right...uhhh..." Emily looked at her flank to see what her cutie mark was, so she could make up a quick pony name for herself. She wasn't surprised when she saw a picture of a quill dipped in ink on her flank.
She did want to be a writer, so of course it was her special talent. She looked back at Pinkie Pie, "I'm Silver Quill" it was the name she always uses for herself when she makes herself a pony in her fan fictions. "And this is..." she put her hoof on Christa's shoulder and leaned back to get a look at her cutie mark. It was one beat music notes making a star.
Music...no, Christa wasn't even in band...but she was in choir. Singing, that was it, Christa's special talent was singing. That made sense.
"Music Note." Well, that's what you get when your thinking off the top of your head. Emily whispered in Christa's ear, "you need to talk to Sweetie Belle about cutie marks."
"Yeah."
"And that's..." Emily looked over at Chase who was still trying to get up, so she couldn't get a good look at his cutie mark. "That's Chase."
The next thing they knew Pinkie Pie was at Chase's side looking down at him. Chase screamed.
"Chase? That's a weird name. Does it mean you talent is running. No, of course it's not, you can't even get off the ground". Pinkie Pie grabbed Chase's hoof and lifted him off the ground and helped him to his feet.
"Thanks" he said. Emily instantly ran to his side and put a wing on his back to make sure he didn't run away. But, Pinkie Pie didn't take it that way.
"Oooo. Are you two dating?"
Emily quickly took her wing of Chase and slammed it back to her side. "NO!" they yelled, them both blushing, Emily more than Chase.
Christa was laughing hysterically behind Pinkie Pie.
"We are just friends." Chase said. Emily nodded, agreeing with him. Pinkie Pie laughed.
"Oh!" Pinkie Pie squealed, remembering. "Follow me!" She bounced down the path. They had no choice but to follow her. Emily spread her wings, "Time to fly". She took off.
Flying was pretty easy. All you had to do is jump off the ground to get started, flap your wings to get in the air. As you flap your wings you're pushing the air down, pushing you up. To stay in one place in the air you reduce your wing flapping to small flaps, making the air move up and down around you, letting it push you up a little as you fall a little. To move in a direction you just lean that way while flapping your wings, pushing the air behind you. To go faster flap 'em harder. To turn, glide and lean in the direction you're turning in. To land, glide while leaning downwards, when you are close to the ground straiten up for a perfect landing. This was simple logic.
Emily caught up to Pinkie Pie easily, leaving Chase and Christa to run after them. Pinkie Pie stopped at the door of Sugar Cube Corner. Emily landed next to her. The lights were off inside the shop. Of course, there was obviously a surprise party in there for the trio since their were new to PonyVille and all. Chase and Christa got there soon after, panting from their run. Pinkie Pie's smile widened and she opened the door.
"Surpise!!"
Oh, look a party.
