"I'm not a monster!" the crying filly said to her sisters.
"That's what you say! I bet the second we turn our backs you're going to try to bite us with your monster fangs!" Luna said.
"Pfft, yeah. You'll never be a princess. You don't even have a talent and I doubt you ever will!" Celestia said, showing off her beautiful sun cutie mark. The two fillies walked off.
"What were you doing?" Queen Nova asked her daughters.
"Oh, we were playing with Chryssy." Celestia answered.
"Yeah!" Luna said.
Chrysalis looked over at her sisters and parents while they hugged.
She sighed, "Maybe they're right... My parents don't care about me... I just want to be a princess like them and make ponies happy... Maybe I am a monster, since I'm so horrible at being anything else... I guess my special talent is being hated..." Chrysalis said, sitting down, looking up at the stars, tears in her eyes. "I wish they'd just stop being bullies... Maybe... Maybe it doesn't count as bullying if it's true... But I still don't think I am... What if I..."
~~~~~ A Week Later ~~~~~
Chrysalis watched Celestia raise the sun, and Luna lower the moon. She envied their importance to this world, how the ponies called them "Princess Celestia" and "Princess Luna". Her parents are called "Queen Nova" and "King Darkness", and what is she? She's "the monster", at least, that's what ponies called her before they run away. Ponies hated her. She was a beast, a monster, a creature that couldn't be loved. She started to accept what ponies thought, and what her sisters said. She was a monster, and she couldn't change that.
"Fine. If I have to be a monster, I want to be the princess of other monsters who don't care if I'm one too. I might even find some who eat love so ponies HAVE to love them, and better yet, love me!" she said, sitting under a tree staring at a new town the ponies created, called Ponyville. "I should have the magical ability to succeed..." she smiled, "...in creating my own species..." She thought the idea was perfect. She'd make strong monsters that looked like her but smaller and a bit worse, so they'd see her as a princess. They'd feed on love, and just in case the ponies wouldn't love them since they looked like her, they'd be able to change their appearance. Her horn glowed as her sisters began to walk toward her with the intention of picking on her, like usual. All of a sudden, she created a full grown, adult changeling so it can be strong and not a helpless baby against her sisters. It should still see her as its leader since she created it.
Celestia gasped.
"Chrysalis! What are you doing?!" She yelled at her beast of a sister.
Chrysalis made more, so she had a small army of 10 adult changelings. She felt a surge of confidence.
"Oh, what am I doing? I'm making an army! I'm a princess now, and I actually rule over something more then a big ball of gas or a giant rock!" She said, walking towards her sisters. "Or... maybe I won't be a princess... princesses are always bratty, stupid, heartless bullies! I'll be a queen, like mom! Queen of the changelings!"
"What the hay is a changeling?!" Luna questioned.
"These are changelings." She responded, as her army of 10 adult pony-sized monsters flew up, hissing at Luna and Celestia, to which they yelled,
"We're getting mom and dad!"
"Quick, changelings, transform into ponies." Chrysalis commanded.
The ten changelings obeyed as they transformed into ponies. Four became unicorns, and two were pegasi, while the rest became earth ponies. They looked slightly alike in some way, the first one to transform had a pink mane, white coat, and green eyes, some had green eyes, some had white coats, and some had pink manes. It shouldn't seem too suspicious though.
In the distance, her family was coming near.
"Act like ponies, like, wander around or talk with each other; heck, you could even randomly break out into song!" She whispered, laying down as if she were asleep.
"See? See?! She made a bunch of crazy monsters that are gonna eat us!" The sisters yelled.
"All I see is a family of 10, and your sister asleep." Queen Nova said.
"What?!" Luna yelled, looking over to see their sister's trick.
"I need to move a black hole, its getting awfully close..." King Darkness said, flying away with incredible speed.
"You children have amazing imaginations..." Queen Nova said, walking away.
