Tsunami's Fall

by King Tsunami

September

Guns firing as sirens blared. The war has begun, the fight for the cure. Metro jumped into a tank along with Gordon and a soldier. Metro started up the engine and put his hooves on the wheel specially made for ponies. He started to go onto the second elevator, as the alarms made a annoying sound. A soldier started up the elevator as the door above them began to slowly open. Helicopters flew everywhere along with planes and bombs. A bomb completely missed Metro's tank and hit a armored truck. It blew up into napalm, all the soldiers inside became ash. Earthquake, a light-green pony with a bright mane and eyes, were throwing boulders at the Combine and infected. Inferno, a bright red pony with a yellow mane and eyes, was throwing napalm at every enemy he saw. Hurricane, a grey pony with a white mane and eyes, was sitting on a roof of a building watching the battle with a camera.
Metro yelled at Hurricane on the walkie talkie saying, "What are you doing, do you want us to lose the battle?" Hurricane sighed and jumped down, straight into the battlefield. Metro loaded the cannon, while Gordon tried to figure out how to load a machine gun. Metro fired at one of the APCs next to the safe-house, Gordon fired at the strider, and the soldier fired his sniper rifle at the combine soldiers. Planes flew over dropping bombs over the infected, blowing them into pieces. A APC rammed into the back of the tank at full speed, causing the soldier to fall out of the tank. As the soldier got up, the infected pushed him down and started to tear out his guts. Metro knew he was gone so he backed up, over the soldier and infected, crushing them to death. Blood splattered everywhere on the streets and mist.
Gordon asked Metro, "What did Tsunami tell you?"
Metro tried not to cry but managed to say, "September was his last word." Gordon eyes widened and shook his head like he was about to say something. Metro sighed and fired the last tank shell at a APC. Gordon continued firing at the striders while dodging the anti-matter being thrown at him. Suddenly, a nuclear alarm blared through the town, all of the allied troops began pulling back. Metro and Gordon got out of the tank to jump in the elevator. They jumped at the elevator at the last second. The iron vault doors closed as the nuclear alarm stopped.
A soldier appeared with a laptop saying, "We need the launch codes." Metro tried to think of what code it'll be.
Gordon blurted out, "September." The soldier entered the code and it was correct. Everypony and human ran into the vault as the gear shaped door closed. The bomb broke apart but it wasn't a nuclear device, it was a green gas bomb on the screen. It crashed into the town-hall after a twenty-five minute flight, which caused all the infected to drop and all the mist to clear. The sunshine finally appeared after the months it was dark. Metro ran to Luna, giving her a cure of the infection. Luna slowly opened her eyes as everypony and everyone looked at her. Metro hugged her and cried. December 23, was the day of the funeral. After months of war, the Combine decided to ally with the ponies and provided them with the perfect coffin for Tsunami. Everyone, everypony, and the Combine watched the coffin slowly slide into the water. Tsunami's brothers weren't in the funeral. Metro cried beside Luna, and she tried to calm him down. 2 hours after the funeral, Metro sat beside the grave as a hooded figure approached the grave. He dropped a blue flower and started to walk away.
Metro ran up to the figure and asked, "Who are you?"
The figure did not look at him and answered, "I'll return when I'm needed just like you, Metro." The figure disappeared and left no evidence behind except the blue flower, left on the grave.
