Love Games: Flarity

Well, this is how it went: Fluttershy

"OH MY GOSH! Apple Jack what do I do," yelled Fluttershy.
She had just flown to Sweet Apple Acres from The Carousel Boutique in the pouring rain. Being the element of honesty she thought that Apple Jack could give her the best advice. When she had arrived she saw AJ getting the animals into the barn. Wasting no time she shook her and asked for help.
"Now hold on there sugar cube. What's wrong?"
"I asked Rarity to marry me and she said yes."
"Well congratulations, that's nothing to be worried about."
"But you don't get it."
"Do ya mind talking about this inside?"
"Oh not at all."
Once inside the warm house Apple Jack heated up some Apple Cider.
"This storm is crazy, I didn't even know it was going to rain."
"No one did a lot of the weather ponies are sick so there behind scheduled."
Apple Jack nodded and handed Fluttershy a cup of hot cider.
"So what were you freaking out about out there. The last time I checked getting married was a good thing."
"Oh it is but that's not the problem."
"OK tell me what happened from the beginning."
"Well, this is how it went."

--------------------------------------------------------

It was a sunny afternoon and Fluttershy was tending to her animals.
"Lunch time," she said kindly.
The animals all rushed over to there food.
"Now behave while mommy's away."
With that said Fluttershy went out the door and headed toward Sugar Cube Corner, were Rarity will be waiting for her. They had been going out for a good two years now and were very much in love. As in love as they were Fluttershy couldn't help but think that something was missing from there life. *SPLOSH* Rain fell on the mares head soaking her. She looked up to see Rainbow Dash moving clouds.
"Sorry about that Fluttershy. Most of the weather ponies are sick so they had to split us up. I'm all alone in this section of Ponyville."
"But I didn't know it was going to rain today."
"No one did but with a lot of the weather ponies out were a little behind scheduled."
"How bad will it be?"
"It's gonna be a big storm. Maybe some lighting. I'd stay inside if I were you, loose branches will fall."
"B-but I had a lunch date."
"Then I suggest you cancel it. You know Rarity doesn't like the rain."
"I know," she sighed.
"Trouble in paradise?"
"Not exactly. I love her and everything but I feel like it's missing something.'
"Oh so she's not good in bed."
"NO! That's not what I said."
"But it's what you meant."
"No it's not. Rarity's just fine in that area."
"Then what's the problem, she won't marry you or something?"
Suddenly something clicked in Fluttershy. It's like Rainbow Dash gave her the answer to all her problems. Sure marriage seemed like jumping the bridge a little bit, but hey they have been dating for two years. Fluttershy was so wrapped up in the idea that she had forgotten about Rainbow Dash.
"Wait your not actually thinking about asking her are you?'
"Why not we love each other and I think it's the perfect time."
"Right before a storm?"
"If I rush over there now I can ask her before the storm hits Sugar Cube Corner."
"And if she says no then when the storm does hit it'll be the perfect weather for sadness."
"Oh I never thought about if she said no. What if she rejects me. What if she doesn't want to get married. What if she asked me to come to break up with me."
"I think your going a little over board."
"No your right she doesn't love me I should just go home."
"Now hold on a second. Your not backing out of this one."
"Well I can't do it now."
"Yes you can and you will. I dare you."
"What?"
"I dare you to ask Rarity to marry you. You don't want to be that whip that backs out of a dare now do you?"
"No I guess not."
"Then go before I bring the storm over there."
With that Fluttershy rushed over to Sugar Cube Corner, the storm hadn't caught up yet. Fluttershy found Rarity sitting at an outside table.
"Rarity!"
"Oh Flutter dear I hope you don't mind but I went a head and ordered some tea."
"Oh I don't mind."
"Why you soaking wet, what ever happened to you."
"Oh the weather ponies are behind scheduled s there's going to be a big storm coming this way in like 2 minutes."
"Then come lets go to the shop, you know I hate the rain."
"Wait there's something I need to ask you first."
"What is more important than staying dry?"
"Rarity I'm serious."
"What is it dear?"
Fluttershy got down on one knee and took off her mothers ring from a chain around her neck. Rarity's eyes got big and she seemed breathless.
"We've been dating for two years, and there were the best in my life. I want to spend more time with you, and create lovely memories together. So will you make me the happiest mare in the girl in the world by taking my hand in marriage?"
"Oh YES! YES! YES! Of course I'll marry you."
Fluttershy put the ring on Rarity's finger and they united in and embracing kiss. Just then rained poured on them, the storm had came. But it didn't matter because it was the happiest moment in there lives.
"Lets go back to the shop to talk things over," said Rarity.
"Sounds nice but um.. I have to go home and make sure everyone's OK."
"I'll help you."
"No that's OK I can do it by myself. I'm sure Sweetie Belle comes home early today so she won't get caught in the storm."
"Your probably right I'll see you later then."
"Definitely."
When Rarity was out of sight Fluttershy rushed over to Sweet Apple Acres.

-------------------------------------------------------

"And that's what happened."
"I'm having trouble finding the problem."
"The problems is Rainbow Dash."
"Why because of the storm?"
"No because she dared me. I didn't ask her of my own free will I asked her cause of a dare."
"Well why didn't you say no?"
"And back out of a dare. You know I hate when Rainbow Dash calls me chicken."
"I'm probably going to lose my element because of this but what Rarity doesn't know won't hurt her."
"But it's bad enough that I was dared into marrying her, lied to her that i was going home instead of here, but now i habe to keep it from her to."
"Either that or it's splitsville for you guys, trust me."
"I don't know."
"Do you want to lose her."
"No."
"Then keep your mouth shut."
"Oh OK I won't say a word."
"Now go home before the animals destroy your house."
"Oh my gosh I forgot about that."
And off she went on home in the storm not saying a word about what had happened.
