A Dash Of Life.

Chapter One: A Surprise Like No Other

I don't know where to begin so I'll begin at the beginning.

I got woken up with a pillow in the face. Not a pleasant way to wake up. I got up, still wearing my pyjamas, and started walking to the wardrobe when my brother rugby-tackled me to the floor. Again, not a pleasant experience. I got back up, got dressed and walked to the bus for school.

I got on the bus, talked to my one mate. Jack. We talked about all kinds of things. But whenever I mention the words brony, pony, MLP or anything related, he just changes the subject or calls me weird for liking it.

I got off the bus and went to reg where I got 3 rulers and about 6 pens in the face or head. That's a new record actually. Did my lessons, went to break, went back, did more lessons and went home.

Here's where it gets interesting. When I was crossing the school courtyard, I saw a small cyan dot fly across the sky followed by a faint rainbow that disappeared quickly. Dismissing my obviously pony-related thoughts, I continued my jolly way to the bus home. I got on it after a 5 minute argument with the bus driver. Then I saw it again. I thought there is no way that the same hallucination can happen twice. So I kept my eye on the sky. About half way through the long journey, I saw the one and only Rainbow Dash flying just outside the bus window. She saw me. Or, more importantly, she saw I wasn't a pony. She stared at me like I was an animal in a zoo. By this point, I could have sworn I was high. I decided to just play along and hope for the best. I mouthed the words "Follow me." She gave me a uneasy stare. This time, I mouthed "Trust me." She just flew upward.
The bus stopped at the stop where I was to get off. I called softly. "Rainbow Dash." I saw her poke her head over the side of the bus and soon after she jumped down. I couldn't believe my eyes. I told her to follow me home. Again, an uneasy stare. But I managed to convince her I ment no harm.

"So how did you get here?" I couldn't hold the curiosity any longer.

She was reluctant to speak.

"It's ok, I won't hurt you."

"Failed spell." She said quietly.

"What spell was it?"

"It was supposed to teleport us to Phillydelphia."

"Why didn't you just take the train?"

"Too expensive." Rainbow stopped in her tracks. She glanced at me with confusion. "Wait, how did you know we had a train where I live?"

"Long story, I'll tell you when we get home."

I walked through my front door. I had told Rainbow Dash to wait for me to open the window so my parents didn't see her. Sure enough, I opened the window and she flew in.

Rainbow was getting impatient. "Ok, we're home. Now tell me that 'long story'."

"Well, in a nutshell, you're on a show called My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and I enjoy watching it."

"Come again?"

"Ugh. I'll just show you."

I got out my laptop and loaded up one of the episodes.

Rainbow was confused. "So, you're telling me that every day of my life is on the internet?"

"Well, not just your life. And it's actually every week. Not every day. You see, every week, there is a new episode. Sometimes it's based around you, sometimes it's based around the others. For example, the latest was based on Twilight and how she tried to stop a disaster by: Observing everything, doing nothing and breaking into the Canterlot Archives."

"So you know all about me?"

"Well, not all about you. But I do know a fair amount."

"What competition did I win?"

"Best Young Fliers."

"What did I do to win it?"

"A sonic rainboom and you saved Rarity and the Wonerbolts from certain death."

"Ok you win."

We shared a moment of awkward silence. Until I broke it like an idiot. "Gay baby."

"What?"

"Oh, every time there is an awkward silence, I shout that out to break it. I've always hated awkward silences."

"Couldn't you have said something different?"

"Probably, but it's an old habit of mine."

"Ok then. No more silence around you."

We laughed. "So how are you going to get home?"

"Odds are Twilight will do a spell to bring herself where I am and bring me back."

"You look tired."

"Well being teleported to Celestia-knows where will do that to you."

It was then that I noticed we were both sitting on the floor. I got up and sat on the bed. I signalled for her to jump up. "Come on, you need some sleep." She came up and curled up in a little ball. I started to stroke her mane. She mumbled something.

"What was that?"

"You hoof feels nice."

"It's called a hand here. But for you, it would still be a hoof."

"Could you massage my back? Aloe and Lotus never do it good for me. Plus my wings hurt from flying around scared out of my mind."

"Yeah sure." I started to rub my hands around her neck and upper back. Digging the fingers in a little. She moaned, signalling that she liked it.

"Wow. You should come back to Ponyville and become a massager."

"I probably should." I started to get a little lower on the back, remembering she said her wings we sore. I started to massage the base. "Could you lay your wings flat on the bed?"

She let them droop to the mattress. I worked my way up to the middle. I started to put more pressure on. She gave a heavy moan of relaxation. She stretched out so she was now laying flat on her stomach. I continued to massage until she was asleep. She was so cute when she was asleep.

"We got a big day tomorrow."

Author Note. I kinda just put this in here to reach the 1000 word minimum for uploading a story. But anyway, as always, criticism is not only welcome but encouraged. Let me know if I misspelt something for put it in the wrong context or any other error. Remember to like if you like it! :)
