The lights of the flashing cameras were very exciting for the generous fashionista Rarity, of whom the adoring paparazzi were desperate to snap a picture. It was very difficult for the paparazzi to get pictures of her because, she was very hard to get a hold of just to snap one picture of her walking down the red carpet in Canterlot. But before the paparazzi could snap a picture of Rarity, she was already down the rest of the red carpet as an interviewer with a slicked black mane walked up to her.

''Miss Rarity, what brings a fine lady like yourself to Canterlot's exclusive red carpet?'' the interviewer asked curiously.

''It's pretty simple darling, I'm willing to spread my generosity all over Equestria to make my friends and family very proud of me.'' the beautiful fashionista said proudly. ''I've got to thank everypony here, for helping my dreams come true -''

Rarity snapped out of her comatose dream. Wiping the sweat off of her forehead, looking down at her completed fashion delivery orders. ''Oh phew, I'm so glad that I finished these fashion orders ahead of schedule, or I would be worrying to death like Twilight did when she has a mental breakdown.'' She lifted her head off of her work desk, and trotted over to her saddlebag in her mannequin showcase room.

''I'm glad that I'm going on vacation, it's going to be as fabulous as ever!'' Rarity packed her saddlebag with her necessities for the trip. She was still unclear on where she was going to spend her first vacation in months. The reason that she wasn't able to have time for a vacation was that the shipping orders for all of her dresses had been piled up for months from desperate customers.

Out of all the places to go on vacation, I should choose the one place where the elite of fancy ponies are very proud to boast and show off their looks. It might not be my style, but it doesn't hurt to try something new. Rarity thought to herself.

Rarity finally finished packing her stuff in her saddlebag, quietly walking to the door with her little energetic sister sound asleep after a long day of crusading with her friends. She slowly opened the door quickly, closing the door slowly with grace.

The bustling of stallions taxiing their customers was surprising in a city that never sleeps. Rarity finally arrived in Canterlot, the city of the Canterlot Elite, and all of the rich business ponies rolling in the bits of their corporation success while just outside the city the poor struggled to get enough food to survive the week.

''I'm finally here! If I'm going to survive in this windy city, I'll have to find somewhere to stay for the night.'' It took a while, but Rarity pointed her hoof to the Canterlot Royal Hotel.

She walked into the main room of the hotel, where the hotel receptionist was giving the hotel guests their respective hotel keys to get into their hotel rooms. Trotting up to the reception desk of the hotel, she ringed the bell with her hoof. ''Excuse me, ma'am?''

''Yes, how may I help you?'' the hotel receptionist asked.

''I would like your most fabulous hotel room available please.'' Rarity requested.

''We only have one room left due to the holiday rush hour, but I'm willing to give you this room.'' the receptionist replied, handing Rarity the key from the hotel key display case. ''Here you go, enjoy your stay!''

''Thank you so much!'' Rarity skipped away to the hotel lobby elevator, handing the receptionist an Emerald gem.

The flamboyant unicorn looked down at her room key, as she was anticipating to see the fabulous room that the receptionist told her about the last hotel room that was not occupied. As the elevator came to a complete stop on the floor that Rarity's room was located on, the doors opened automatically with the fashionista skipping out of the elevator.

Hmm, Room 324... If this isn't the room, I'll have to write an angry letter to the hotel. Relatively speaking, of course. She thought to herself, looking up at the top of the door:

Room 324: Canterlot Royal Hotel

Rarity knocked on the door, the door collapsed from the limited amount of pressure that Rarity's hoof had on the front door, the force was so surprising that even the door's hinges fell apart completely. The whole hotel room was a complete mess from top to bottom, the bathroom and living room windows were all shattered, the ceiling was falling apart from the renovation that the hotel staff had to do to keep the room up and running, even the floor was covered in dirt and falling apart.

''This room is a crime against everything!'' Rarity stomped her hooves on the floor, her hooves cracked the weak surface of the floor. She fell under the floor of the room, as she was plummeting through the three floors all the way down to the hotel lobby. ''This is totally unacceptable!'' she shouted with all of her might, her chin ricocheted off of the receptionist's desk.

''I'm sorry but, I can't possibly live in a room like that.'' Rarity said.

''Sorry to tell you this, but that is the only room we have available since a lot of the fancy ponies always plan ahead of schedule and the hotel is booked up because of it. So you're either going to have to stay in that dingy room, or you will have to pay to have the room fixed.'' the receptionist replied.

''How much will it cost to repair the damages, and how long will the construction take?'' Rarity asked curiously.

''The cost to repair the damages to your room, will be approximately 5,000 bits. Construction will take a week to complete, it would be best to find someone to stay with until your room is fixed.'' the receptionist said, filing her nails with her nail filer.

''I guess that's fair, I'll have to find someone to share a room with. But first, where is the hotel's restaurant?'' Rarity asked, rubbing her chin with her hoof curiously.

''It is on the right side of the elevators, you can't miss it!'' the receptionist waved to Rarity, checking her computer for any mishaps with the hotel rooms.

The energetic unicorn trotted over to the hotel's restaurant, stopping straight at the bar of the hotel. ''I'll have to get rid of all of the stress that I had lately, so I'll have to drink this away.''

Rarity looked up in awe at the exotic drinks stacked on the shelves behind the counter of the bar, with all of the drinks that could give the mare a run for her money. She would have never thought to succumb to drinking her stress away, but she will always find a way to get past the problems that trouble. A unicorn who has grace, beauty, and finesse finds a way to look past the problems and look at the positives that can guarantee enlightenment. When Rarity decides to meet a mare that she has met before, they will realize that they have more in common than they knew existed.
