The Doctor stomped his hoof defiantly.
" I know a lot more about the TARDIS than YOU!" said the Doctor. Pinkie giggled.
"Are you suuuuure ya wanna bet on that?" asked Pinkie. The Doctor nodded vigorously with a look of sheer determination on his face.
"I bet you don't know what all those buttons do!" said the Doctor. Pinkie smirked.
"Let's see...ok! This one does classic, this does sophisticated, this goes ding, this one does WOW! And this one does CHOCOLATE RAIN!!!!" Pinkie flicked a switch and opened her mouth wide as a shower of chocolate milk slid down her throat. She licked her lips and smiled. The Doctor stood speechless.
"Well...I...didn't know it could do that." said the Doctor. Pinkie suddenly popped up in front of him.
"That will be 500 bits please!" said Pinkie Pie cheerfully. The Doctor stared at her.
"No, no, out! Out! How did you even get in here?" asked the Doctor, irritated.
"Because I'm PINKIE PIE!" said Pinkie. The Doctor rolled his eyes. Yes, that was a perfectly logical answer.
"You're from Ponyville, right?" asked the Doctor. Pinkie nodded with a ridiculous grin on her face.
"Have you seen a mare called Ditzy Doo by any chance? I'll never let her wander off by herself again..." The Doctor muttered the last part and turned to the party mare hopefully. Pinkie thought about it.
"Ditzy Doo? Never heard of her." said Pinkie. The Doctor's face fell.
"Are you sure? She's a grey pegasus with a blonde mane and gold eyes, the eyes are a little...off. She has bubbles on her rump and she...loves muffins?" said the Doctor. Pinkie nodded.
"Ooooooh, you mean DERPY! No, haven't seen her around." said Pinkie. The Doctor cocked his head.
"What does..."derp" mean?" asked the Doctor. Pinkie shrugged.
"Nopony knows. But it's a silly word isn't it?" Pinkie laughed.
"Whatever, the point is I need to find her!" said the Doctor. Pinkie's face fell and she had a sudden realization.
"Um...did you say your name is "Doctor"?" asked Pinkie.
"Yeah, why?" replied the Doctor. Pinkie started to sweat.
"Ummm...you miiight want to follow me." said Pinkie and she trotted off. The Doctor shrugged and followed her. Inside the blizzard, Ditzy struggled to keep her balance. She kept flapping until she thought her wings would fall off. She pushed away a thin layer of cloud and basked in the slight rise in temperature. She felt as close to the sky as she would ever be. She gave one more weak cry for the Doctor and then flapped harder. She couldn't take anymore. At Sugarcube Corner Pinkie walked up to the snow globe she had heard the screams from. She leaned in and squinted her eyes as she looked closely into the dome. She leaned back in shock and trembled.
"Doctor...can you describe Derpy again?" asked Pinkie. Part of her knew what was happening but she didn't want to accept it. The Doctor cocked his head and described his companion. Pinkie gulped.
"I think I found her."
