The New Year

Applejack

Dear Applejack,

This year, I learned about honesty from you.
You are the most hardworking pony I know, always there to help when others need it. And you're modest, too. You also have a lot of care for your family, and I admire the amount of sacrifice you're willing to take for Granny Smith, Applebloom, and Big Macintosh. You really are "Apples to the core."
You're always so energetic, despite the amount of work I know you do. You hold a lot of passion for you job, no matter how dirty you get in the process. You know when to have fun, and you know when to be serious. You always care about others as well.
Others may see you as a run-down country bumpkin, but we'll always see you as our friend, no matter what.
Oh, and I'm sorry you weren't able to use that huge apple you took so long to grow in the fair. It really shows the extent you'd go to help a friend.
Thanks, I love you, and Happy New Year. Best wishes to the farm and orchard.

Your friend,
Twilight

P.S. Send my best wishes to your family as well, and luck to Appleblooms for her cutie mark
