Chapter 9: Trixie Frost Tarts
Kira Altarmore-Heartstrings awoke stretching her arms, legs, and tail out as she yawned adorably. She climbed down the ladder of the twin bunker and landed on the ground, turning toward the bathroom where she proceeded to due the now daily ritual of relieving, washing, brushing, and dressing.
After doing those things, Kira came back into her and Ken’s room to find Ken still asleep. Since it was saturday, and thus no school, Kira decided to leave Ken alone. She left the room, going down the stairs to have a delicious breakfast of crunchy bready heavenly Frost Tarts.
What? She really likes Frost Tarts! It is like, the best food ever!
Kira reached the end of the stairway, and headed toward the kitchen. “♪Frost Tarts, Frost Tarts, pop it in and it pops up!♪” She sang.
Kira eyes spotted Bon-Bon in the kitchen, “Morning Auntie Bon-Bon!”
Bon-Bon smiled sweetly at the little saiyan hybrid girl, “Good morning Kira, did you dream nicely last night?”
The twin sister of Ken sat on the counter stool, her legs kicking about and her tail wiggled behind her. “Yep! I had the best dream ever, there were lots of toys and food everywhere! And Ken, you, and mommy were there too! I saw Raze-sensei, but he didn’t appear that much.” Kira said, recounting her dreamworld.
She stopped her dream talk and asked Bon-Bon, “Can I have some Frost Tarts? I’m hungry.”
The yellow furred Earth Pony reached for the cabinet and opened it, revealing the lack of Frost Tarts within.
Kira starred for a bit at the Frost Tart-less cabinet before crying out, “No! There are no more Frost Tarts! I’m going to starve!”
If Kira paid attention to Bon-Bon, she would’ve saw her surrogate aunt desperately trying to hold in a giggle. Bon-Bon closed the cabinet, and seemed to make a thinking motion before looking back at the eight year old child.
“I believe I saw Raze take a box out of the cabinet yesterday.” She said, with a hidden grin. Just then, Lyra came in the kitchen saying...
“Alright, so I got the recipe for the- “
“Raze-sensei! How could he! He’s a meanie, taking the Frost Tarts is pure evil!” Kira interrupted, leaping off the stool she was on.
“Wha… Did I miss something?” Lyra questioned, but nopony answered her.
“I’m going to convince him to tell me where he took the Frost Tarts right now!” Kira shouted with supremacy before stomping toward the direction of the living room, her eyes filled with the fire of determination.
The instant she spotted Raze, Kira ran toward him and jumped in the air before landing right on top of him. This caused Raze to wake up in a shock as Kira screamed in his face while grasping his shirt with her small hands. “FROST TARTS! WHERE ARE THEY?!”
This action caused a chain of events to happen starting with Raze being shocked. He tried to sit up with great speed which caused himself to fall to the ground off the couch with Kira on top of him, and a heap of blankets following her.
Apparently Bon-Bon had walked in the living room just to see this charade, a small smile on her face as she said. “Yeah Raze, where are those Frost Tarts?”
Raze forced himself and Kira to sit up, the blankets falling off of them, but as he attempted to reply, Kira interrupted him.
"I can sense the Frost Tarts with you Raze-sensei! You can't hide them from me!" She continued to shout.
Raze looked at her, "What's with you and Frost Tarts?"
Kira’s eyes targeted that strange case with the capsule stuff, she went for it but Raze caught Kira’s hand from ever reaching the capsule case.
“Don’t touch that.” Raze said firmly.
“But the Frost Tarts! Sensei! The Frost Tarts!” Kira exclaimed as she struggled against Raze’s hold.
Raze pulled her attention away from her and sent a glare toward Bon-Bon, “You set me up for this, didn’t you?”
Bon-Bon just gave him a innocent face, “No, what made you think that?”
“The fact that she’s attacking me over a box of Frost Tarts made it apparent!” Raze said. Kira sent her other arm toward the case that possibly contained her Frost Tarts within, but Raze grasped that arm too and the little hybrid girl found herself struggling even more from her sensei’s grip.
Raze turned his attention back to her, “Let’s make a deal, if you can hit me three times in three times gravity, I’ll give you the Frost Tarts and we’ll go into town today. Does that sound good?” He proposed.
Kira paused, ‘But he’s way too powerful for me to beat alone!’ She thought, before she asked a question of Raze. “Can nii-san help me?”
Raze crossed his arms and tilted his head to the side, “Maybe. Hmmm… Okay! He can help, but you need to get him up so we can get this started!”
Kira leaped off of Raze, and promptly shouted, “Ken! Wake up!”
‘Nee-chan… ‘ She heard her brother say telepathically. ‘What is it?’
’Raze-sensei stole my Frost Tarts, and to get them back I gotta hit him three times in a spar! But I can’t do it alone, I’m not strong enough to beat him by myself. So can you help me?’ Kira telepathically replied.
Raze looked around, “I guess you’ll have to go and get him.” he said.
‘Okay… I’ll be right down.’ Ken replied.
Kira grinned, “Give him a minute.” She said to Raze.
The footsteps of someone coming down the staircase was heard, until Kira spotted her twin brother on the stairs… Still in his pajamas.
“Well, he’s definitely not going to fight in those, Lyra would probably attack me with a frying pan if I had Ken mess up the wrong clothes.” Raze said.
’Ken, you're still in your pajamas!’ She thought to him, embarrassment on her face.
‘Oh yeah… ‘ He replied with realization.
Ken grinned, “Don’t worry sis, I’ll just get dressed in a flash and then we’ll beat sensei!” With that, he rushed back upstairs.
Kira smiled pridefully, confident in her and her brother’s ability to beat Raze-sensei. To defeat him, claim the Frost Tarts, and also win a trip to the town with him! Maybe when they’re at town Raze could help them find the Cutie Mark Crusaders cutie mark. And take them out to eat for dinner, yeah that sounds great!
’Today is going to be so much fun!’ Kira thought.
Kira was so caught up with the possible fun activities that could go on today, she didn’t even notice Raze open the door for Derpy and The Doctor to enter the house.
“Good Morning!” Kira heard Derpy said.
Kira turned her attention back to the real world, she smiled back at Derpy who also was smiling. Kira’s nose suddenly sniffed the air, and she realised her mother and Auntie Bon-Bon were cooking food. The little girl was now feeling quite jolly for some food, but she had to get the Frost Tarts first!
The Doctor was looking around and sniffing the air, “Is that Hay Bacon Strips that I seem to be smelling?”
Mommy Lyra stepped out of the kitchen, glancing at Kira with a smile on her face before turning her attention to The Doctor, “Yes, along with roasted carrot and parsnip soup.”
“You got anything for the average young strapping saiyan?” Raze asked, hints of sarcasm within his voice. Not that Kira could understand what he meant by ‘strapping’.
’Strapping? Is it going to strap something on him?’ Kira thought to herself as she watched the events unfold.
“How about eat what you get and don’t question it?” Lyra deadpanned.
“I will never eat carrots, they are evil and deserve to be eradicated through overwhelming force.” Raze said while crossing his arms and turning away.
Lyra was going to say something, but a new challenger appeared. Bon-Bon stepped out of the kitchen armed with her mighty wooden spoon of splintering justice. Kira shivered appropriately.
“We’ll have to go grocery shopping later today… Oh, is Raze giving you any trouble?” Bon-Bon asked while smacking the wooden spoon against her hoof threateningly.
Lyra looked at her, “Why are you standing on your back hooves?”
“It helps persuade customers.” Bon-Bon said while glaring at Raze.
’Why is Auntie Bon-Bon mad with Raze-sensei? Maybe she realises that Raze is evil for stealing the Frost Tarts!’ Kira nodded to herself in her genius puzzle solving.
“I thought it was because you belong in the kitchen, with your pink apron and your carrots.” Raze said.
The Doctor spoke up, “Raze, it might be wise to be quiet.”
Derpy frowned and nodded in agreement, “You might want to listen to him, Razey.”
Kira didn’t even know what was going on, why they saying that?
“No way, there’s no meat or apples, but we have to only get carrots? I really don’t like carrots!” Raze said while maintaining his position.
“Raze-sensei, what’s wrong with carrots?” Kira questioned, “I like carrots, they’re crunchy!” Kira said with joy, carrots were good for you! That’s what mommy Lyra always said.
“It’s a taste thing, you wouldn’t understand, they’ve got you brainwashed!” Raze said to Kira.
‘Brainwashed? I don’t feel brainwashed… ‘ Kira thought while giving a adorable pout, she suddenly heard steam in the air, Kira looked toward Bon-Bon to find her redder than a red apple!
Raze-sensei turned around slowly, “Is there some tea… on?”
To Kira, Bon-Bon looked very very red and puffy! Maybe she ate something bad during breakfast?
“My cooking of carrots… Brainwashing her?!” Bon-Bon said with anger.
“Yeah! Totally! So if you could go and make something that won’t brainwash us, I’d really like that!” Raze said.
Kira’s tailed curled up in her confusion, were carrots really bad? Was mommy wrong? Were they brainwashing her and her brother? She didn’t think so, maybe Raze actually never tasted carrots? Or maybe he saw some sort of giant pony-eating carrot monster that made him think that.
“Oh, I’ll make something alright.” Bon-Bon said in an unbelievably calm manner; turning around to head back to the kitchen.
‘Sis! I got dressed and am ready!’ Kira heard Ken’s voice rang in her head.
‘Yay! Now we can win those Frost Tarts and a trip to the town!’ Kira replied with joy.
Kira, ignoring the talking grown ups around her, watching as Ken came down the staircase. Now in his full blown mint green gi, harp cutie mark included on the left chest mark, and a orange band around his waist. Ken walked up next to his sister, and Kira promptly turned around to face Raze.
“Raze-sensei! We’re ready!” Kira said, watching as Raze snapped out of whatever thoughts he currently was having and turn toward her direction.
“Alright! Let’s get to the gravity chamber! Then we can eat and get out to see the town!” Raze said to them.
Kira and Ken, or Ken and Kira, grew excited, they were going to beat Raze-sensei and then not only will they achieve their frost tarts, but Raze will have to take them to the park, play with them, and maybe buy them lunch! Well… Maybe for that last one.
“Let’s go, let’s go! We will win those Frost Tarts and get a town trip!” Kira exclaimed to her Ken who nodded in agreement.
“We’ll win Kira, no question!” Ken said in support.
Raze smiled, “This time we can use Kaio-ken x2 to help with the gravity, okay?”
Kira stopped smiling, that was unfair! And a bit depressing, she really needed learn how to do it so that she could use it! “But… I don’t know how to use Kaio-ken.”
Raze smiled, “Then you’re going to learn with everyone!”
Raze began to pull her along at this point as they were soon out the backdoor and standing in front of the gravity chamber’s door. Raze quickly opened up the door and turned on the lights.
However Ken had something on his mind, “Raze-sensei, I have a question.” Ken said to Raze who turned to give Ken his full undivided attention.
“What’s up?” Raze asked him.
“Is it possible to go higher than times two on Kaio-ken? Cause daddy says yes, but he never showed me.” Ken questioned, he always wanted to make sure. Daddy would never lie, but it never hurts to get confirmation from someone else.
“Oh, of course! The highest level of Kaioken that I’ve managed is Kaioken x30, but if you tried that, then you’d probably die.” Raze said.
Needless to say, Ken was now freaking out from Raze’s information.
“Die? I don’t wanna die!” Ken exclaimed while waving his arms in alarm, he was too young to die! Plus, he liked being alive! He didn’t even know if they had that Other World like Chris’ world!
“Well, then don’t try to do what I do, but we can try to get you up to x5 Kaioken. That would probably be a good start up to try and reach for you. For Kira, her max would be x2 if we manage to get her learning it fast.” Raze said to them both at this point.
Ken gave a sigh of relief, he knew his limits now, just don’t go above them and he won’t die! With this thought in mind, he regained his composure.
“Okay!” The Twins said in unison.
“Well, if you’re ready, we can get started, actually, just do some quick stretching like last time while I get the machine started.” Raze said, with that said he went toward that strange gravity machine that the twins still couldn’t understand half the time.
Ken and Kira took a glance at each other, a little unworded communication that twins share before they both started stretching their arms and legs. Their saiyan hearing picked up the many pressings of buttons and advanced electronic sounds as they did many various stretches.
‘Hey sis, what we gonna do with Raze after this anyhow?’ Ken questioned in their minds.
’Well… I was thinking when he brought us to the town we could guide him to the clubhouse! There he can help us and our friends in getting their cutie marks!’ Kira replied to Ken telepathically.
‘That sounds fun! Oh and sis?’ Ken questioned Kira.
’Yeah Ken?’ Kira replied back.
‘Have you heard Daddy recently? He’s been really quiet today and it’s kinda strange.’
Kira gave a small sad smile before replying, ’I can’t hear daddy remember? I only know what he says when you tell me.’
‘Oh… I’m sorry I forgot. But Daddy loves you very much that’s for sure!’ He said, trying to cheer his sister up.
’Yeah! Of course he does, daddy is awesome!’ She said with a grin. Through she couldn’t help but think to herself how she could never see or hear her father ever again, unless you count hearing through Ken.
Finishing their remaining stretches, they watched as Raze looked to them after he finished all the button stuff.
“Well, do you both feel ready?” Raze asked Ken and Kira.
“Yeah!” They replied wholeheartedly, before both of them slipped into their fighting stances.
“Okay, here we go!” Raze pressed a button and immediately Ken and Kira felt a huge force pressurize on their small bodies.
‘This feels a bit heavier than last time!’ Ken thought to his sister as he fought against the gravity and balanced himself.
Kira didn't reply, she was having a harder time dealing with the intense pressure that attempted to make her into breakfast pancakes on the ground. When she finally managed to adjust to the shift in gravity, Kira looked toward Raze with a successful smile.
Raze didn't seem bothered by the gravity one bit, he just looked at them both with a smile, “Oh, you seem to be doing a bit better, but we’ll see how this works out. Okay Kira, I need you to try and run! Can you do that? We won’t start the match until I can at least get her to be more used to the gravity change.”
Kira paled more than she was already, but quickly regained her color before Raze could notice.
“No problem, I’ll be running in no time sensei!” Kira said with confidence.
‘Okay… Just one foot in front of the other… ‘ Kira moved a foot forward, but she lifted it too high and with too much effort against the gravity causing her to land face first on to the tile ground.
Raze frowned, “Uh, you alright?”
‘I’ll help you sis!’ Ken said with concern, as he began to approach his twin sister.
But Raze held his hand up in front of Ken stopped the concerned brother from helping Kira. Raze shook his head, indicating to Ken that he should let Kira do it on her own. Ken didn't like it, but a sensei knows what’s best… Right?
Kira frowned toward Raze for stopping her brother in helping her, she pushed herself up, her arms shaking from the heavy gravity and her tail limp on the ground.
’I can do this! I have to become stronger!’ Kira thought, channeling her anger and determination to the task at hand and not toward her sensei. Who Kira knew within her that he was only trying to help.
“Alright, just keep trying, Kira.” Raze said to her.
Kira powered up her Ki energy silently, she was going to use her Ki to help her stand up better. After all, their father had taught them that pushing Ki to their muscles will increase their strength further, as well as help with Ki control. After a short minute, Kira stood up pridefully once again, taking a step forward, and more cautiously aware of herself as her tail swayed to side to side to adjust her body’s balance correctly.
Kira noticed Raze watching her curiously and knew she had to show him that she could take this gravity.
Kira began walking a bit faster, her body having gotten a rhythm of balance and movement within the heavy gravity. The little girl grinned triumphantly as her speed picked up and she completed her first lap around the Gravity machine.
’Yes! I’m doing it!’ Kira thought, letting her brother hear her.
‘Great job sis! I knew you could do it!’ Ken applauded.
“You seem to be walking fast alright, but you need to start running!” Raze turned to face Ken.
“You too, let’s see if you can run, Ken!” Raze said to the eight year old boy.
“Okay!” Ken said. The brother of Kira had started walking with better ease than his twin, and sooner started run-walking before going to a full out sprinting.
Kira watched with a little jealousy, ‘I gotta catch up to Ken! He can’t always protect me forever, I wanna protect him too!’ She thought to herself as she attempted to try and catch up, filled with motivation in trying to become not only as strong as Ken, but also strong enough to protect him, their mother Lyra, Auntie Bon-Bon, their friends, and Raze-sensei too!
Ken was getting faster and faster, he felt like he was training really hard! And it excited him, when suddenly as he glanced toward his twin sister to see her face overcome with emotion, he felt Kira’s Ki spiked to a higher level than normal. Kira’s speed drastically increased, passing by him before her energy reverted back down to her ‘normal’ levels.
Ken was awestruck, before it clicked in his mind that that happens at times. He almost completely forgot about it cause it seemed to natural to him!
“Okay! You can both stop running now, you’re both sufficiently warmed up!” Raze said to them both.
Ken and Kira stopped just in front of Raze, their curious little childish faces looking up to him to know about what was up next.
Raze smiled, “Okay, Kira I need to start focusing your Ki. Power up to your very maximum!”
Kira nodded, and bent her elbows back as she shouted just a bit before a blue aura burst into existence around her. Reaching for all of her inner Ki that she could muster, she brought it out to show Raze and Ken just how much more powerful she was since last time! And being half saiyan, that’s nothing to scoff at.
Raze looked at her curiously, “That’s a pretty high power level, now I want Ken to power up to his maximum without going Super Saiyan.”
Kira smiled with pride and joy, her tail wagging as she was glad that Raze thought her power level was pretty high!
“Hai!” Ken shouted, as he powered up in the same way as his twin sister, the blue aura enveloping his childish figure. His Ki energy increasing higher and higher, small dust picking up below him as he raised it to his base maximum.
Ken felt himself approach his limit, and knowing that Raze didn't say not to do this technique, he shouted out. “Kaio-ken times two!” And with that, Ken felt his Ki energy skyrocketed and his muscles tense with the new found strength coursing through him. The hybrid boy grinned and said, “You didn't say not to use Kaio-ken!”
Raze smirked, “Alright, you caught me on that one! But now it’s time to begin our sparring match. Now you both have to continually maintain your highest level of normal strength, so Ken, stay off Kaio-ken and Super Saiyan.”
Kira didn’t waste a second, she charged at Raze yelling out her battle cry, “Frost Tarts!”
Raze sidestepped her and she went right past him before she felt Raze deliver a soft kick to her back, causing her to spin frontward straight into the wall, “By the way, nice battle cry.” She heard him compliment.
Ken didn't charge forward, instead he leaped back shooting a couple Ki blasts as he went. But watched as Raze summoned a ki barrier to take the attacks head on. The blasts exploded harmlessly around their sensei.
“You need to be faster on the uptake, Ken.” Raze said.
Ken heard his sister yell in his mind, ’Ken! I’ll distract him while you use a Kamehameha!’
‘Okay! Good idea!’ Ken replied, leaping further away from Raze.
In seconds after Kira had told Ken that, she charged at Raze’s left side. The little girl swung her fist and kicked with her legs as hard as she could, but Kira could feel the gravity making her slower than she normally was. She thrusts her right fist forward, but Raze had easily guided it away and then kneed her in the chest.
Kira flew back for a second and then the gravity took hold. The hybrid girl hit the ground fast, but thankfully managed to catch herself. Kira slowly pushed her body back up against the stupid gravity holding her down, she began to gather energy so that she could launch Ki blast at Raze, but she felt her brother’s energy spike upward.
She smirked quite darkly for a child as she saw Raze turn around to meet her brother’s incoming technique, a Kamehameha wave.
With Ken, before he had launched the Kamehameha wave, began to form the hand motions for the technique. Watching Kira carefully as she fought to distract their sensei, which she did really well in doing, so that he could create the Kamehameha in the first place and use it against him.
’Morning Ken, sorry I’m late. I’m currently fixing a hiccup.’ He voice rang out in his head.
‘Daddy! Me and Kira-’
’Kira and I.’ Ken’s father, Chris, corrected.
Ken pouted, did his dad always have to do that? ‘Kira and I, are fighting Raze-sensei. But I think Raze-sensei will dodge my Kamehameha and attack me!’ He replied with the correct grammar.
’Then change it to a Bending Kamehameha Wave.’
‘What’s that?’
’It’s a little weaker than the normal variation, but it allows you to control the direction of the beam. Here, let me show you a few images of how to do it’
Ken’s vision was replaced with a six page panel of pictures with easy-to-learn colorful instructions!
’Pretty easy to learn for you since my energy helps your control.’ Chris stated.
‘Cool! Thank you daddy!’ Ken thanked his father.
’No problem, now I’m going to keep fixing that hiccup that I mentioned earlier. Good luck son. Chris said before becoming silent once again.
Ken, with his new technique memorized from the pictures in his head, decreased the amount of Ki he was channeling into his technique. Shifting his hands ever so slightly to allow for a grasp of the Kamehameha’s origin point.
“Ka… Me… Ha… Me… Ha!” Ken shouted, before a light cyan beam shot toward Raze just as he turned around.
Raze smiled, walking away from his current area without even bothering to mess with the incoming attack. Ken did a cheer in his mind, he so predicted this! And thanks to his dad, Chris, he had a solution against it!
Ken moved his arms along with the beam within to the side, causing the Kamehameha wave to curve toward Raze’s direction. Raze noticed the energy was still following him and he broke into a run.
As Raze continued to run away from Ken’s bending Kamehameha Wave, Kira had went toward Ken’s position and instinctive guarded his back.
’Wow Ken! When you learn how to do that!
Ken, even if he was concentrating on curving to attack Raze, still managed to reply.
‘Daddy taught me.’ He thought to her, before fully directing his attention back to his technique. He was beginning to feel a bit worn out through, continuously supplying Ki energy to the beam was taxing on his reserves.
Ken saw Raze climb up the wall, but the little boy was determined to land a hit on Raze with his new technique and with some effort, brought his hands upward causing the Kamehameha wave to do the same.
Finally it seemed Raze had enough, he turned around and caught the attack. Ken and Kira watched as Raze held it, and Ken increased his efforts to the wave which started to push the full-blooded saiyan sensei back slightly.
Ken started to breathe more heavily, beginning to be exhausted as the technique continued to eat away at his energy as Ken supplied it.
Kira saw her brother’s ailment, and without any words needed saying, lay her hands upon Ken’s back and gave her own Ki energy to him. Allowing Ken both a breather and more energy to blast away at Raze with the Kamehameha.
Thus said technique increased in size and strength, and an explosion erupted from Raze’s position. Making Ken cut the power to his technique and letting it die down.
Smoke arose from where the attack had combusted. Ken and Kira quickly shifted to their fighting positions as they closed their eyes and sensed Raze’s energy. They felt him approaching rapidly and Ken looked to his sister and quickly said.
“I’ll boost you up and you can strike down at him while I do the below!”
“Alright!” Kira quickly replied.
“Gotcha now!” Raze yelled as he appeared out of the smoke.
Ken boosted his sister up into the air above Raze. Kira, using the intense gravity to her advantage thus increasing her speed as she came down onto Raze, used her right foot to smash Raze’s face in. While Ken had charged forward at him with the intent of hitting his stomach with his left fist.
“Take this sensei!” Kira shouted as her foot connected with Raze.
Raze flew back from the heavy kick, and quickly caught himself with both of his arms and flipped over Ken’s outstretched left fist.
Raze flipped through the air, landing on his feet and going at Ken, “Alright! I’ve definitely gotcha now!” He yelled at Ken.
Raze caught up to him and Ken felt Raze elbow him in the side, not knowing that Raze was holding back for the child’s own safety. Ken went flying, but it didn’t last as he felt Raze grabbed his right leg mid-air and continued running with him now in tow. Kira saw Raze heading toward her, but as he reached her, Ken recovered and blasted Raze with a Ki attack.
The attack causes Raze to drop Ken and fly at a wall. Ken quickly picked himself up, Kira rushing to his side. The twins shared a glance before both charging at Raze. Raze had recovered and began charging at them as well. Kira couldn't run as fast as her twin, but she knew that perhaps going behind him might prove fruitful.
Ken grasped on to a energy within the seal, ‘Only need a little bit dad, he never said I couldn't use yours!’ He thought to his father, but Chris never replied.
Ken felt his father’s energy course through his body, making him stronger, faster, and less tired. He channeled this energy mostly to his arm and shoulder muscles he continued to charge toward Raze-sensei.
Raze thrust his left fist towards Ken. But the little boy’s Ki energy boost also came with newly discovered speed, Ken dodged Raze’s strike and uppercutted Raze’s chin with his fist before spinning mid air and delivering a kick to his chest with his right foot. Kira coming up soon after beside him, and delivered her own kick right besides Ken’s.
The attacks put Raze into the floor and this time he could not catch himself. He laid there with a big goofy smile upon his face.
“I think we’re done…” Raze said.
“Aww… Really? But this is exciting!” Ken complained.
“Yes, I’m afraid that this training session is complete. We’ll start Kaioken training tomorrow…” Raze trailed off with a small laugh.
Ken and Kira’s energies, along with their father’s energy, powered down to their normal suppressed states. With the release of tension and adrenaline, the two Twins fell on their rumps in exhaustion as they breathed heavily.
Raze suddenly yelled out, “Computer! Turn off the gravity simulation!”
Within seconds, the room began to light up a bit more and any pressure being exerted was lifted from their bodies.
Ken and Kira breathed sighs of relief, “Much better… “ they mumbled in unison.
Raze visibly nodded, “I’m sure it is, but now we probably should go get cleaned up, I may take out my ship if Lyra’s backyard can hold anymore big things in it.” He said.
“Mommy en-enchanted the backyard to be good enough for sparring.” Kira said, her tail lifting from the ground back to a wiggle.
Raze smiled, and took out that capsule case thingy, “Then I’ll just go do that, but first…” He trailed off while taking out one of those poof maker devices. He clicked the top of it and threw it, causing a mini explosion of puffy clouds. The two twins stared curiously at the puffy clouds until a fridge appeared out of it!
“I got a box of Frost Tarts to give back.” Raze said while opening it and taking out the sacred divine box of heavenly gifted Frost Tarts.
One second Kira was on the ground next to her twin, the next Kira had jumped up with a burst of energy and appeared in front of Raze. She was eager to receive her prized box of Frost Tarts that she would devour whole-heartedly.
Raze handed it to her quickly before she could bite the box out of his hands, thus losing a few fingers. Kira didn't notice it, as she was too distracted opening the closed box to receive her reward, but Ken saw Raze put the fridge back into it’s poof maker device form. Ken and Kira absently followed their sensei, Ken walking next to his sister as she opened the box.
“Okay, I’m going to wash up!” Raze said as they all walked towards the entrance. He opened the door and the Twins joyfully ran past him with the box of Frost Tarts. Kira dug right into the box, unwrapping a package and stuffing a frost tart into her mouth.
‘Mmmh… Yummy… ‘ Kira said in her thoughts, Ken hearing them loud and clear.
“Nee-chan! Give me one!” Ken whined, wanting something to snack on as well as persuaded to wanting to eat an, albeit he wouldn't admit it, delicious Frost Tart.. Kira grabbed another package and gave it to her twin.
Raze suddenly winded up like a baseball pitcher and mockingly threw one of those poof makers toward the empty patch. A large explosion of pink smoke appeared forth before settling back down revealing the item that was once within, and bring out another, and whole and behold, a really big ball shaped building appeared.
Ken and Kira were lost in the sudden appearance of the ship they didn't notice Raze had gone and opened the hatch.
Instead, they succumbed to their human curiosity and vanished into after images to appear beside the newest thing in their yard.
‘Lookie, lookie!’ Ken said to his sister using telepathically as she scurried alongside the ship, moving hands on it, feeling it’s smooth unedged surface.
‘Wow! It looks so cool!’ Kira replied, still eating her Frost Tarts but was now brushing her free hand along the exterior.
“Wow! What’s this thing?” Ken asked his sensei half-mindedly as he continued to touch the ship’s outer frame.
Kira poked and prodded, her hand getting dangerously near the, unknowing to her, capsulize switch.
Raze suddenly yelled at her, running up to her in a sprint, “Stop, Kira!”
Kira froze, scared that she was about to do something bad. ‘I don’t want to do anything bad! That’s Ken’s job!’
‘Yeah, it is my job!’ Ken thought to her, before his eyes widened, ‘Hey!’
“Uhhh… Just don’t press that button. I’ve never been holding onto the ship while it turns into a capsule, so it’s probably best not to!” Raze said to her.
“Sorry.” Kira stated, removing her hands from the exterior, Ken followed suite after hearing Raze’s words, really if Raze didn’t dare to try it, they shouldn’t either!
Raze sighed audibly, “You can come see the inside of the ship, but don’t press anything. Besides, I’ve gotta go get another gi anyway.”
Ken stepped forward, when all the sudden he felt nauseous, his head felt like it was going to explode into a million bajillion katrillion pieces! He didn’t even know what bajillion or katrillion was! Ken clutched his head with his hand, trying to somewhat ease the pain.
“Ow… “ Ken muttered, but soon he felt his father’s energy soothing his mental pain to a minor headache.
“You okay Ken?” Kira asked with concern.
“Yeah, just a little headache. I’m fine!” Ken replied with a fake smile, he didn’t want to stop his sister or Raze from not doing things today cause he suddenly felt sick!
Raze arched an eyebrow, but it seemed he was persuaded… Mostly.
“You sure you’re alright, Ken?” Raze asked.
“I’m fine sensei! Honest!” Ken lied firmly, continuing to walk forward with the best of his ability as the headache would allow him.
Raze nodded slowly, “If you’re sure. Well, come on inside and I’ll show you the ship.”
The Twin’s sensei walked up the platform and went inside the ball-shaped building. Ken and Kira followed just behind him and stopped right after they entered the place, watching as the lights flickered on when Raze snapped up the switch.
“The ship doesn’t bite, just watch out for the german toilet!” Raze assured them.
“What’s a german?” The twins both said.
“Uhhhh… Probably better to not ask. It was a weird bug they never got out. You learn to get used to it after a while.” Raze said to the confused Twins.
A voice sounded from where there appeared to be a ladder going up, “Ich werde Sie und die Kinder verschlingen ganze!”
“Was that the german toilet?” Ken questioned, ‘That’s so silly! But it didn’t sound very nice!’ Ken thought.
’It should learn some manners! Remind me never to go use the bathroom here!’ Kira replied.
“Yes, but you’ll probably never going to see that part of the ship. Actually, no tour below the ladder. Too much hassle. But this is the main room!” Raze said to them both.
Kira took a bite of another frost tart, “Mmkay!” She said with her mouth full.
“Well, you both probably gotta go and get cleaned up! That was the tour of the ship and I’ll see you both in a little while!” Raze said as pulled them towards the exit.
“Why can’t we bath in this thing? You said it could clean you.” Kira questioned, wondering what the bathtub of the ship was like. It was probably all super fancy like all that high tech stuff! Maybe lots of bath toys too, and soap bubbles! Soap bubbles everywhere!
“Because you have a house with all kinds of stuff on it to clean yourselves!” Raze said while continuing to push them towards the exit.
Ken and Kira thought this over, Raze-sensei probably didn’t have any bath toys or bubble bath stuff.
“Okay!” The two adorable twins said.
“We’ll see you at lunch sensei!” Ken and Kira finished, leaving the ball-shaped building that was apparently a ship.
Ken and Kira walked down the hatch and stepped on to the grass. They made their way to the house and entered it. Greeted by their adopted mother immediately.
“Supper is ready, but you two should clean your hands and face first!” Lyra said to them with a motherly smile.
The two twins nodded, and went over to the nearest sink, which was a bathroom, and washed their hands and faces with soap. Before drying off with the bathroom towels. Once done, they went back to the dining room, and played with some toys to ease some boredom.
Kira suddenly got a piece of paper, and began writing down names.
Ken grew curious, “Why you doing that?”
“Cause I wanna write the names of everyone we know!” Kira said with a smile, writing down names in the Equestrian language.
Ken peeked over to see a list of names, involving all the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Raze, Lyra, Bon-Bon, The Doctor, Derpy, Luna, and other assorted people.
“How do you remember all those names?” Ken questioned.
“Cause it’s important to remember and be kind to everypony!” Kira replied with a pout, her tail wiggled in the air.
Kira continued to write down names, and Ken grew bored and just sat next to her and watched. Ken’s attention soon meet with Kira’s wiggling tail, mischief getting on his mind.
He pinched her tail’s end.
Kira’s face flushed red with slight pleasure, before it was replaced by uncontrollable rage.
Ken suddenly found himself upside down against the wall, his head dizzy with a bruise mark on his forehead. Kira standing over him with her fist held up high, eyes closed as her rage settled down.
Lyra looked from the kitchen to Ken’s dizzy form and Kira’s standing one. It didn’t take a genius to know that Ken must’ve done something Kira didn’t approve of.
Lyra sighed and said, “Ken, maybe this might teach you to not do what you did ever again. Now apologize.”
“Uh huh… “ Ken mumbled, “Sorry nee-chan… “
“Apology accepted, just don’t do that again… It felt weird.”
The smell of food broke them from their thoughts, instantly the two hybrid twins found themselves sitting at the dinner room table. The food being placed on the table, they almost salivated if they didn’t catch themselves before their mother noticed.
Raze had entered the room, and talked to The Doctor about some strange machine thingy and repairs. Not that Ken and Kira understood it, being uneducated in the advanced technology of the future. Their schools really needed a reform so they could learn better. Not that they knew that either.
Finally, everyone approached the dinner table.
‘That felt like it took forever!’ Ken yelled to his sister in his mind.
’I know! Grown-ups take so long!’ Kira replied in agreement.
Lyra sat down on a chair, saying to everypony, “Bon-Bon and I are going to help set up for the visitation of Princess Celestia tomorrow, and I want you all on your best behavior today and tomorrow!” Lyra said, glancing toward Raze’s direction.
“What? Why is everyone staring at me?” Raze questioned everyone and pony.
“We’re not staring at you sensei.” Ken said, looking toward Raze before going back to the food laid out. When could they eat it already! They’re hungry!
“But Lyra did!” Raze said to Ken.
Bon-Bon opened the dishes up, revealing that carrot and parsnip soup, hay bacon fries, but also this other dish Ken and Kira had never seen before. But it looked really tasty! It smelled pretty good too! They only could hope to eat right now instead of having to wait for everypony else!
“Well, kids get food first, then mares, and I’ll go last.” Raze said to them while walking away.
They couldn’t complain against that! Raze is the best sensei ever!
‘Let’s eat!’ Ken thought out to his sister.
’Finally!’
Unfortunately, Bon-Bon started to object, “WHAT?! I mean, no Raze go ahead. You are the guest here after all.”
Raze smiled, “But I was rude earlier, you should all go first.”
But their mommy Lyra saved the day! Lyra levitated some spoonfuls of food upon the twins’ plates, they began to eat as soon as their mother finished placing the food.
Bon-Bon continued to insist on Raze eating early, “No, you weren’t. I was the rude one, not respecting your distaste toward carrots in the first place.”
Ken and Kira munched on their food with quite content faces and a wagging tail as they watched the dialogue exchange between Raze and Bon-Bon.
“But I told you to go back to the kitchen with a pink apron and that was pretty mean. So you should definitely go first!” Raze said to her.
“Well, you also showed me that carrots brainwash. Isn’t that kind of you to everypony else in the future to know about?” Bon-Bon said quickly.
Raze was getting annoyed, “Why are you so insistent that I eat first?”
“Well it’s because-”
At this moment, the twins at tried that new food.
“It’s so yummy!” The two twins shouted with glee, they started to eat more of it with glee.
“Raze-sensei you gotta try it! You gotta!” Kira said, looking toward Raze. Really, it was very tasty! Raze just had to try it!
Raze looked at them and then back at Bon-Bon, “Okay…”
Ken and Kira continued to munch on their dishes, Lyra as well eating it.
Lyra didn’t like where this was going, she didn’t have any problems with Raze disliking carrots, but Bon-Bon did own half the house, and paid most of the bills.
Lyra pays the groceries, and that’s three quarters of the bill’s payment each month!
Ken and Kira absently watched as Raze picked up his fork and took a bite of the food before him and soon began to eat a bit faster and then it was gone as if it had never touched the plate. They giggled every briefly before devouring their own food down, asking seconds from their mother as they finished.
They didn’t pay attention to what Raze had said, but Ken grew curious on what the new dish was.
“Mommy, what is this stuff?” Ken asked as he swallowed some of the new food.
Lyra looked kindly at Ken, “Bon-Bon called it Carrot casserole.”
Raze suddenly jumped up and put his plate into the sink, “I’m going to the ship now to cleanse myself by visiting the german toilet.”
“Why? What’s wrong, Raze-sensei?” Ken questioned Raze.
“I’ll tell you what’s wrong, Bon-Bon just made a powerful enemy today, one that blows up planets with his pinkie.” Raze said while going to the back door and leaving He had left the backdoor open and Bon-Bon walked over and shuts it.
“Auntie Bon-Bon, why is Raze sensei angry?” Ken then questioned Bon-Bon.
“I won against him, that’s why he is angry.” Bon-Bon said.
Kira put her silverware down, “Well that’s not very nice… “ She muttered.
Lyra looked to Bon-Bon, “That wasn’t nice at all indeed.” She said.
Bon-Bon frowned, “Well he shouldn’t have questioned my carrots!”
“And you should’ve respected his wishes.” Lyra deadpanned before turning back to her adopted children. “Finish your food, then go wash up and get dressed. Those gi’s of yours are filthy!”
Ken and Kira looked down at their clothes, indeed they were dirty from the sparring, and a tiny bit ragged. Gulping down their third serving of food, they got up and left to get washed and changed. Lyra picking up their plates to clean in the dishes.
Another thirty minutes later, Raze had returned, “Well, I’m ready to go into town!”
Ken and Kira had changed into different clothings, looking cleaned up and ready to go after taking a good bath. Ken had a orange T-shirt and blue pants while his sister wore a purple shirt and a long royal blue skirt. A mint green bow appeared tied around Kira’s tail and a white clip in her hair to hold back some stray bangs.
“Ready!” Ken and Kira both said happily.
Raze nodded in approval, “Alright, now where is the Doctor and Derpy?”
The Doctor happened to be walking through at the moment, “Oh, me and Derpy are staying back here, We figure it’ll be better if we don’t run into our copies like last time.”
“Oh… Well, we’ll see you when we get back!” Raze said to the Doctor who nodded and went back to the backdoor.
“Yes, and I’m sure that you’ll be in for quite the experience.” He said strangely looking to the sky, then closing the back door behind him.
‘Of course we will! We’re going to play with Raze-sensei all day!’ Ken thought in excitement.
’With our friends too! I can’t wait!’ Kira replied joyfully.
“Let’s get going.” Raze said, as he went toward the front door and opened it.
Ken had to get a certain subject out of his mind, it was bugging him.
“Raze-sensei, are you angry at Auntie Bon-Bon?” Ken questioned curiously.
“Not so much anymore…” Raze said to Ken.
Kira pushed the subject away, “Let’s go! Maybe we can meet with our friends later on!” She yelled, her bow tied tail wiggled behind her.
“Then we better get going, so come on!” Raze exclaimed as they finally left the house.
When the three heroes left the house and into the front yard, the first noticeable thing they realised is that the sky looked a bit… Different, like if they were looking through glass toward the sky.
Raze was looking around also, “Does it seem different around here? Normally there are more ponies out during the day…”
“Raze! Lookie!” Kira said, pointing at a group of ponies who looked like they were forced into enslavement. “What’s wrong with them? Is it Discord again?”
“No way! Discord wouldn’t do anything like this! He’s pretty harmless.” Raze said like it was a everything thing!
‘WHAT!’ The Twins shouted mentally together.
“No he’s not! He nearly killed nee-chan!” Ken shouted in objection, the hatred seething in his voice. Discord was the meanest person on the planet! He was really strong and hurt a lot of ponies and most importantly his sister! He doesn’t care of it’s because of Discord he got Super Saiyan, he still hurt Kira! And his family is really, really, really important to him!
“He turned mommy gray and made her fight against us too!” Kira shouted as well, a bit of fear within her own voice. She couldn’t get that evil Discord out of her mind, he almost killed her. Making Ken all alone and almost sending her to whatever is death in this place! And making Lyra all mean and uncaring to them really hit a spot in her heart!
“But Discord never did that when I….” Raze seemed to make an excuse to them.
‘What is Raze-sensei thinking! Discord is super evil!’ Ken thought.
’Yeah!’ His sister was quick to agree.
The twins were still quite angry at Raze for thinking their Discord was a nice guy, but were soon distracted with how another group of ponies past by with grim faces.
Ken seemed curious, and lifted himself up into the air and flew toward the sky to get a better look around the town. Only to hit his head on something like glass. “Owowowo!” Ken shouted as he rubbed his head to ease the pain.
Kira yelled up to her twin, “What you see Ken?!”
Ken called down to Kira and Raze, “There is this glass thing covering all of Ponyville! Maybe everyone is sad cause they are trapped!”
Kira saw Raze smile and say, “Hey, Ken! Come back down! I’ve got an idea!”
Ken floated back down, and landed on the ground. He looked up to his sensei, curious to know what he had planned.
Raze looked at our Twin heroes, “Okay, we’re going to break it! We’ll fire our best attacks at one point in the wall!”
“Okay!” The twins shouted simultaneously.
“So let’s go find the least populated wall…” Raze said while looking around.
“Sensei, why not we just fly up high and hit the wall from each corner there?” Kira questioned.
“Oh… Yeah! We can do that… Good idea, Kira!” Raze said as he flew up to find good enough area between the town and the shield.
’Wonder what kind of attack I should use… ‘ Kira thought to herself, ’Using the same technique as Ken doesn’t really make me feel unique.’
Our two hybrid twins, and their full-blooded sensei, flew up into the air to the midpoint height of the barrier surrounding Ponyville. Facing three corners as like triangle, they charged up each of their individual’s Ki techniques in their attempt to destroy the town’s glass-like cage.
Kira watched with great human curiosity as Raze-sensei held his hands to his sides, charging up two red energy balls. They grew bigger and larger till they came to a stop. He then pushed his hands together causing the energy balls to crush together and become smaller. Then he held his attack above his head as the red light spread out a bit.
’I wanna learn how to do that!’ Kira thought with interest.
“Ready?!” Raze asked them while holding the powerful, and interesting Ki technique in his hands.
Kira snapped back into attention, she’ll use her masenko technique! It’s way faster to charge and still packs a punch!
Kira had her hands to her forehead, a yellow ball of spiking energy forming in front of them. Mumbling the words under her breath as she charged up, “Masenko…”
Ken has chosen to do the most familiar technique of the Z-fighters before him, cupping his hands in front of him and slowly bringing them to his side. “Ka… Me… Ha… Me… “ He said, as a blinding blue light formed within his cupped palms with condensed Ki energy.
Raze started counting when our heroes were ready, “On three! One, Two, and Three! Flash Cannon!” Raze finished, throwing his own attack toward the shield.
“Ha!” Ken and Kira finished their own techniques just a second after Raze launched his own, each heading toward their sides of the barrier.
They collided with the side of the shield and held against it. The barrier pushed back against them, but all three of them held on against the powerful defense mechanism. The twins were too focused in their techniques to see a few tiny cracks forming as the shield continued push back against them.
However without notice, a small red beam of magical energy erupted from the middle of the town toward the top of the barrier. The entirety of the glass-like cage glowed with an aura of red and the damages repaired themselves with breakneck speed.
Ken and Kira struggled in their attempt to break the shield, which continued hold up against all their strength and power. They suddenly sensed Raze’s Ki signature increased drastically, glancing toward him for just a second to see that he had ascended to Super Saiyan form.
“HAH!” With their sensei’s power increase, he was sure to break the shield! Right?
Ken knew he didn’t have the experience nor the training to transform into his own Super Saiyan state while performing a technique. But he did have a substitute for such an occasion!
“Kaio-ken!” Ken shouted out loud, the son of Chris’ Ki spiking to higher levels, filling his veins with more power to throw into his Kamehameha technique.
“D$%# shield!” Raze yelled.
The two twins noticed that their own attacks began to go critical and they exploded against the barrier; their sensei’s attacks followed suit which created a large enough explosion to send all three of the fighters straight into the ground below.
Ken and Kira spiraled out of control,z unable to recovered fast enough to even attempt to slow or prevent their fall. They crashed into each other in mid-air, Ken floating just below Kira as he grimaced that Kira was no doubt going to land on him when they landed.
That, and he was going to land on Raze. Which probably won’t get a good reaction out of their sensei.
Needless to say, dust and dirt were brought up the moment they crash landed on Raze. Who had seemed to form a tiny crater once they had landed on him.
His reaction is pretty much identical to what they had expected him to say.
“Can’t you control yourselves?! I know at this age, I could control where I landed! Sometimes…” Raze trailed off as the smoke started to clear.
Now that got Ken and Kira confused, their sensei could control where he landed? They had no idea they could do that! Only that they could prevent or slow themselves from falling in the first place!
Raze frowned, “Could the both of you at least find time to get up? I know it looks comfortable down here, but I may have gotten a rock stuck somewhere not nice.” He said.
The two Twins got off him immediately, mumbling their apologies to their sensei. They didn’t mean to land on him at all! Honest!
“Sorry, but why couldn’t we break the barrier?” Ken questioned, he was certain they were really close to breaking it!
“Yeah! We should’ve been strong enough.” Kira agreed with him, knowing her brother’s thoughts like the cover of a book. She looked toward Raze, her tail wiggling behind her.
“We almost broke it, but something added power to the barrier.” Raze said while getting up and brushing off stray rock chunks mixed with dust.
“Sensei, there is somepony running over here.” Ken said, pointing toward a pony in the distance rushing to their direction.
Ken and Kira had absolutely no idea who the blue colored approaching pony was, really all they wanted was a nice day of play time with their sensei and their friends! But apparently, bad things just love to happen around them all the time!
“Trixie? What? How is she here?!” Raze questioned the twins.
“Who’s Trixie?” Kira asked.
“Trixie is I!” A blue colored unicorn wearing a black cloak tied around her using a strange Alicorn decorated amulet, proclaimed.
Raze facepalmed, “Here we go…”
“The EVIL AND POWERFUL EMPEROR TRIXIE! Everypony within Trixieville is Trixie’s property! Humans are no exception.” Trixie finished, her eyes flashing red.
‘Evil?’ Ken questioned in his thoughts.
’Powerful?’’ Kira did the same.
Raze frowned, “So, nice new thing you got there.” He finished while pointing at the red and silver amulet adorning her torso.
“You clearly do not understand Trixie’s authority over you!” Trixie shouted with supremacy.
Ken and Kira just looked absolutely lost in what to say, glancing toward each other like they were in some sort of fantasy story.
‘What’s going on? This Trixie mare comes out of nowhere!’ Ken asked his sister.
’I don’t know… Did we get sucked into some sort of story? Kira replied.
“Trixie’s authority huh? I remember knocking Trixie around the park for laughs, or saving the world. Something like that… Why don’t you just take down this barrier and we can all return to our lives you power hungry crazy lady.” Raze said, the twin’s paying attention only because they were confused on what was really happening.
“You uncouth barbarian! Trixie shall make an example out of you!” Her voice suddenly increased in volume for all to hear, ponies gathering around her and the three saiyans. “All hear your emperor Trixie! This be the price of mockey to Trixie!”
“Oh, that’s rich. For a second there you almost had me worried, now come along and let’s just end this. No need to make a scene.” Raze said, the twins watching as he started to walk away.
“If you’re so confident, then take Trixie’s spell head on!” She yelled, her own horn started to glow a malicious red and black energy, her eyes glowing crimson.
‘Um… I don’t think Raze-sensei should-’
“Okay, sure. Do your worst and then we’ll take you to the guards.” Raze interrupted Ken’s thoughts, a confident grin plastered on his face, and he put his hands up to his sides.
“Uh sensei… “ Kira said, but she was interrupted by Trixie’s incoming blast.
“Take this!” Trixie yelled, blasting forward a beam of magical energy directly toward Raze.
Ken and Kira eyes widened, and they didn’t dare resist their instincts to dodge as they moved away from Raze’s position. The blast hit Raze and a large red aura spread over his body, lifting him up into the air as it swirled around him.Ken and Kira couldn’t see what happened to Raze by this point due to a blinding light that grew in size. The attack ended abruptly, smoke flying around where Raze’s form had been previously. It cleared away slowly and revealed a small arm and part of a smaller leg.
Ken and Kira walked toward the smoke, curious to know what happened to their sensei and if he was alright, when the rest of the smoke cleared they were in for a shock.
Raze was like them! In fact, he looked quite like Ken now… Except for the obvious hair style, that didn’t change one bit.
“R-Raze-sensei?” Kira said in shock.
“You’re… You’re… “ Ken was lost in his own words.
Raze looked at them curiously, “I’m what?! What am I?!” Raze then put his hands to his mouth. He frantically searched around before laying eyes on the nearest window. He ran up to it and proceeded to yell in objection.
“WHAT?!” He yelled, looking at his hands and body.
“Why am I so small?!” Raze asked nobody in particular.
“Trixie has reduced your age! Now you are a child once again!” She said smugly.
Raze turned to her with an angry look on his face, “Change me back!”
‘Sensei is mad.’ Ken thought.
“Trixie will not, now go and run along child.” She replied as she turned around.
’And Trixie is mean.’ Kira added to their telepathy.
“The grown up Trixie has work to do.” Trixie finished while leaving the scene.
Concerned for their, ever rage increasing, sensei; Ken and Kira rushed to his side, the little girl speaking up first, “Raze-sensei? Are you okay? That spell didn’t hurt you when it made you our age didn’t it?”
Raze shook his head, “No, I’m not in pain, just angry, and confused.”
Ken scratched his head in thought, before exclaiming, “Maybe Twilight can help you!”
“Twilight’s here too? Guess I should have known that… Let’s go to the library!” Raze said with urgency.
“Okay! It’s this way! Follow me!” Ken said, running toward the direction of the library.
“Wait for us!” Kira shouted to her twin, and grasped Raze’s arm before pulling him with her as they headed toward their destination.
They made it to the library in a decent amount of time. Ken had opened the door after knocking several times only to find that nopony seemed to be home.
“Where’s Twilight?” Ken questioned nobody.
Ken looked around, trying to spot some hint or hair of the purple unicorn, but found not one. Well, except that hair strand on the floor, but he was looking for the whole thing.
“Oh… Hey guys.” A voice rang out, causing the Twins to look toward the staircase to see Spike, the baby dragon.
“Spike! Where’s miss Twilight?” Kira asked of the baby dragon.
“Gone… Exiled from Ponyville by Trixie after she lost a magic duel.” Spike said sadly.
Raze suddenly spoke up, “What?! She exiled Twilight? I’m going to hurt her!” He exclaimed in anger.
“Yeah, we can beat her together! Just avoid those age spells! I don’t wanna become a baby!” Ken said. I liked being a kid, and he wanted to grow up naturally! Plus, he didn’t want to be in diapers again. Even if he still had a accident in the bed every rarity and then.
“Hey!” Spike shouted in protest.
“Sorry, no offense Spike!” Ken replied.
“It’s fine.” He said.
“Spike, do you have any idea where Trixie might be ruling the town from?” Raze asked.
“I believe she’s ruling from the town hall. I saw her forcing some of Twilight’s friends to do her dirty work, you should see it easily with all the banners being put up.” Spike informed Raze.
“That’s good! I’ll just Kamehameha her straight to HFIL.” Raze said with a smile.
“HFIL?” Everyone around Raze said in confusion.
“Home For Infinite Losers, Goku told Gohan all about it, he also said something about censors… Oh well, that’s ancient past for ya! Let’s go hurt magicians!” Raze said while running out of the library.
“Wow, there must be some meanies in that home if sensei wants to send Trixie there.” Ken said.
“I’m sure it’s not that bad!” Kira replied.
Ken and Kira noticed they still needed to catch up, and off they went out of the library.
Lyra Heartstrings, adopted mother of Ken and Kira, housemate with Bon-Bon, and lyre extraordinaire. Found herself stampeding into the town hall after noticing that not only was everyone in a depressed and sorrowful state, but a lot of her and Bon-Bon’s customers were trafficking in and out of the town hall building.
One thing she noticed, was a barely familiar Trixie, that pony that game to do a magic show couple months before the twins came in her life. However instead of the proud and boastful figurine, there was a overlord of evil.
Huh, that’s strange, where did the word overlord come from?
“Trixie is wondering when you new cape is to be finished!” Trixie said in authority to Rarity, who was off to the side.
Scratch not proud and boastful, she was more so than before.
“I’m trying my best! Oh, I wish Twilight was here.” Rarity said.
Lyra raised an eyebrow, Twilight was gone?
“Trixie will not allow the mentioning of that failure of a unicorn, or there will be shift punishment!” Trixie yelled.
Lyra narrowed her eyes at Trixie, this has gone on long enough! She might not be as strong as Twilight, but she ain’t the mother of two half saiyan twins for nothing!
“Trixie!” Lyra shouted, drawing Trixie’s attention. “Stop this madness at once!”
“Who dares demands of Trixie?!” She said, looking toward Lyra’s direction. “So another wishes to engage a magic duel? Do you honestly believe yourself more capable than the Evil and Powerful Trixie?”
“Yes I do!” Lyra replied with confidence. Lyra looked around seeing everypony around her, “Everypony get away, this is going to get quite messy!”
Trixie frowned, and stepped down from her high place of superiority. Her horn lit up in magical energies as her eyes and amulet flashed a hue of red.
“Three… “ Trixie started.
“Two… “ Lyra continued, her own horn lighting up with cyan colored magic.
“One! Draw!” They both yelled.
Trixie, the self-proclaimed Evil and Powerful, shot forth a beam of malicious red blackened energy. The beam passed by Lyra as she dodged it, and disintegrated a unlucky table. Trixie continued to shoot beams at Lyra, but every one of them missed their mark.
“Stupefy!” A bright red light came from Lyra’s horn, but Trixie deflected it with a magic sheild. It continued it’s course and hit a bystander, freezing him in place before the earth pony stallion fell to the ground unconscious.
‘Huh… Wonder where I read that spell from… ‘ Lyra thought to herself, but she had no time to recall learning the spell as she rolled to the side to avoid magical arrows that pierced into the floor of her previous position.
“Trixie commands you to stand still!” Trixie demanded of Lyra.
“Like Tartarus I will!” Lyra shouted back, conjuring a couple magical bolts toward Trixie who teleported out of the way to avoid being blasted by them.
“Trixie will show you the true meaning of pain!” Trixie yells as she casts spells left and right.
“Uh huh, you keep talking like that.” Lyra deadpanned, shooting forth her own spells.
“Ugh! You agitate Trixie!”
Suddenly the door entrance blew off its hedges, “I’m here to deck muzzles!” A childish voice rang out.
Everypony in the establishment turned to see the unfamiliar child, they all seemed to have been trying to evacuate the building before he ever got there.
However Lyra and Trixie paid no heed to the child’s sudden entrance, dueling with a variety of magics. Trixie fired a firebolt spell which Lyra dodged, but it passed over to the child and sent the tip of his hair on fire.
The child seemed to notice a strange aroma, “Do you smell burnt hair?”
Ken appeared behind the unknown child, stating, “Sensei, your hair is on fire.”
He looked up once he noticed his hair was indeed on fire.
“AHHHH! My hair is on fire!” The unknown eight year old yelled as he hit the floor.
“Stop, Drop, and Roll!” He yelled while rolling across the floor.
By this time, Lyra snapped her attention to them fully.
“Ken, Kira! What are you doing here?! And where is… Raze?!” Lyra yelled, Raze’s new child form appearance caused her to be distracted. This allowed Trixie to blast her with a magical attack and knock her unconscious against the wall.
Ken and Kira, the twin munchkins, ignored their de-aged sensei completely as they watch their mother be knocked out cold.
“Mommy!” The twins yelled in concern, their Ki levels increasing to their maximum current limitations within a second. Blue Ki auras bursting into existence around them as they charged forward at Trixie in vengeance.
Raze screamed out to them,“She’s mine! Get away!” But the Twins were already too focused to turn away now.
As the Twins approached Trixie to give her one collector’s edition beating, her horn lit up and an crimson magical area wave of energy blasted the twins back, causing them to skid along the tiled ground of the town hall.
Ken, and Kira, rubbed their backs from skidding along the flooring. They got up, glancing toward the direction of the fight that Raze had no commenced with Trixie.
“RAGGGHHH!” Raze had transformed immediately into his Super Saiyan state firing several Ki blasts soon after at Trixie, all of which exploded around her in bright yellow lights.
“You! Human! You’ve ruined Trixie’s cloak!” Trixie yelled out, revealing that she was unharmed but her cloak had been torn in several places.
’Her cloak? She ruined my clothes! My tail bow took forever to put on neatly!’ Kira complained via telepathy, indeed her most precious green tail bow was now torn to shreds.
‘Uh Kira… It’s just clothes, Miss Rarity could always make more.’ Ken raised an eyebrow at his sister, when she become so… girly?
Kira pouted, ‘I know that, but it takes so long to get it on the right way.’
Ken raised his power level, Kira nodded and followed in his wake, her own power level rising. After a moment of mental silence, they looked toward each other.
‘Kamehameha?’ Ken grinned at his sister.
’Kamehameha.’ She grinned right back at him.
With blue auras of Ki energy surrounding them, they stood foot to foot, side to side. Their auras combining into one as they both cupped hands with each other in front of them, sides facing one another and back turned against the outside.
’It’s been a long time since we did a Kamehameha together, Ken!’
‘You said it!’
They brought their hands to the middle of them, an excessive amount of Ki energy pouring into a condensed blue ball that formed within their combined cupped palms. Larger and larger it grew, the light intensifying to the point where every other light around them became like a shadow.
“Twin… Ka… Me… Ha… Me… “ They started to chant together, not one of them going out of tune with the other.
“Ha!” Two twins yelled in unison, their Twin Kamehameha wave launching from their palms. The powerful beam of energy soaring through the air toward its one and only target, Trixie.
Trixie didn’t react nearly as fast and took the attack head on. The blast sent her through the side of the building and blasted for a pretty good distance once outside. Debris were carried with the attack until it died down.
Raze looked at Ken and Kira with a big smile, “NICE ONE! That was really awesome! She’s definitely not getting up from that!”
Ken and Kira’s faces flushed with embarrassment at Raze’s compliment, but muttering a “Thank-you.” toward him. It was one of the first ecstatic compliments they ever received for a combined ‘Twin’ technique.
Lyra twitched before her eyes opened up as she groaned audibly with rejoining the physical world.
Ken, Kira, and Raze, noticed Lyra waking up also, “Hey, Lyra! Did you get to see what they just did?! It was awesome and epic!”
Lyra shook her head, having too much of a splintering headache to say something.
The Twin’s faces fell, a little disappointed that their mother did not see their awesome and epic combined technique, but they brushed it aside, maybe next time!
Ken and Kira sensed Trixie’s approach and faced her position.
Raze also faced Trixie, “Oh, great… You came back, I’m so happy…” He said with obvious sarcasm. “Guess we’ll have to do this again!” He finished saying.
“Trixie did her work… There was only suppose to be two humans! Where you come from? Trixie demands she knows!” She demanded of Raze.
“Ummmm… Well, I… Hmmm... It’s way too complicated to explain, so don’t bother asking?” Raze questioned her.
“Trixie doesn’t care anymore, Trixie knows how to deal with human children now.” She said with a smug look on her face, her horn starting to glow along with her eyes and that strange amulet around her neck.
Raze and the Twins got into fighting poses ready to bring Trixie down at all costs when suddenly Trixie stopped. She looked around and notice that her magic was being influenced by something else.
“Who dares knock upon Trixie’s barrier?!” She turned to the small group that she recognized instantly and smirked.
“Trixie is off to deal with business children, so Trixie will finish this another time!” Trixie’s horn lit up with magical prowess and she teleported out of the place with a crimson burst of magic.
Raze frowned, “That’s not fair…” The super saiyan trailed off.
Ken and Kira closed their eyes, focusing on their sensing abilities to see what had drawn Trixie from them. After a few seconds of sensing virtually half of Ponyville, they discovered a new key player within the town, or more correctly, an old one.
Ken spoke up, “Twilight is in Ponyville again.”
“Yeah, and she’s facing Trixie with her friends.” Kira finished.
They turned their attention toward their adoptive mother, walking up to her in concern, leaving their sensei in the dust.
“Mommy, you okay?” Ken questioned Lyra.
Lyra stretched a foreleg out, “Think so… I little woozy. But are you two alright?”
Kira nodded, “Yeah we’re fine! Through Trixie messed up my tail bow.”
Lyra giggled, “Well we can always buy a new one.”
“Oh, are you feeling okay?” Raze-sensei asked while walking up to stand beside Lyra.
Lyra looked toward the now eight year old Raze, “I don’t know, I’m seeing a child Raze in front of me… “ She said.
Raze smiled, “Yeah… Do you know how to change me back? You looked pretty strong for a unicorn, so… Please change me back?”
“I may be powerful, but I don’t specialize in that kind of magic. Nor do I have the reserves to cast it.” Lyra stated, “Sorry, perhaps Twilight can help you?”
Raze nodded, “Okay… I just don’t want to be like this! It feels so weird! I can’t control my emotions!”
Kira tilted her head in confusion, her tail curling upward. “Why would you want to do that?” The little girl questioned.
“Because being angry and only seeing red is so basic… Saiyans have a tendency to lose themselves.” Raze replied.
Lyra got up from the ground, “Ken and Kira don’t have a problem with that as much… Probably because they are half human.”
There it was, that horrible reminder that Ken and Kira absolutely loathed. They didn’t question the truth of it, nor did they find hatred in their father’s human friends. But it still burned deep within them, those memories of the past. Being half of what their most hated, or at least extremely disliked, only made it feel a bit worse.
But Raze only nodded, he only nodded! He had no idea how bad humans were!
“Probably… Okay, just gotta let Twilight take care of the problem.” Raze said.
Ken and Kira took deep breaths, releasing the tensions of the memories from the past. Ken clutched his head, suddenly having a minor migraine. Kira stared at him with confusion, but a bit of concern in her eyes told him that she cared.
Of course she cared, she’s his sister!
Regaining his composure from that headache, Ken looked for a source of distraction. Seeing a now kid Raze and remembering how they planned to play with their school friends today gave Ken the most perfect question to ask.
“Um, mommy… If Twilight can’t fix the spell… Does this mean Raze-sensei has to go to school with us?” Ken questioned.
Kira had glanced toward Raze, and inwardly giggled at how wide his eyes got, “Haha, very funny. No. I will never go back to school.” Raze said.
Lyra smiled evilly, “Yes, it does.”
Kira’s tail wagged in joy, ’Now Raze just has to play with us and our friends!’
‘Yeah! I can’t wait! It’s going to be so much fun!’ Ken replied.
