As of lately the stallion doesn't usually need to build up any confidence to meet up with his friend...But the idea of this being the first real time they're going to be alone with each other does play a few tricks on his mind regarding whether or not she'll like going out or not. Sparky quickly pushes the thoughts aside as he gives out a loud exhale and knocks to the bright red door of the library. For a moment there's no sound on the other side of the door, but that quickly changes as the door comes open. It's at this point the stallion's mouth drops and his thoughts come back to him as he stares to the mare in the doorway. The dark and light shades of the well fitted dress the mare is wearing seem to sparkle in the orangey yellow light of the setting sun. Sure her mane is not really styled but it's not like the mare had time to do that with trying to figure out how to tie on the dresses form fitting straps by herself. Sparky's eyes slowly trail up her body as he looks over the silver chained amethyst amulet that hangs down around her neck, "You looK-..." The voice crack that rings outs towards the end of his word quickly is covered up as he clears his throat and tries again-you look really nice Violet." The light purple mare smiles to the comment as she trots out of the house and closes the door behind her. The dress may not be a regal outfit like some of the mares in Canterlot wear, but by Ponyville standers she looks like a princess. Although strangely, it's form fitted fabric that clings to her doesn't allow the dress to be too flashy. Sparky happily trots next to the mare as he tries to hold back the smile that screams, ya i'm dating this. - - - The trot a little ways across town has come to it's end as the two story building comes into view. The green clover sign sways in the breeze as it's name dances to the sun's lowering rays, The Green Clover. The hay seats and tables that sit outside for lunch have been put up, however the lights of the building glow bright from the yellow and gold glass stained windows. Sparky brings his trot up as he moves to the door as he opens it for the mare. Violet trots inside and up to the wooden pedestal that stands in front of a gray coated and well dressed pony. The stallion raises his half eyed gaze to the two ponies as he speaks up, "Name?" "Um, Volt." Sparky comes next to the light purple mare as the stallion turns his head back to the list that's hidden on the podium. "Ah, here you are." The stallion moves a hoof to the room as he starts to trot away with two menus in his hold, "Follow me if you please." The two young ponies follow after the pony. Their trot ends quick as the stallion stops in front of a secluded table in front of one of the large glass windows, "Here you two go." Sparky and Violet take their seat as the stallion continues to speak up, "Here are your menus and I shall return momentarily." As the stallion trots away the two ponies spark up a smile as they look around the room. The Green Clover is the best restaurant in Ponyville, and it shows in the expertly crafted wood furniture and statues fitted with wonderful colorful plants that brighten the dark lighted room. The aroma in the room is sweet and fresh despite the fact of the majority of ponies that sit around the room being slightly older couples. The two ponies spark up their own respected laughs as they turn their head back to the other pony across from them. This definitely beats Donut Joe's in Canterlot and in might even be better than Fantaisie Gras. Sparky moves the small bag from around himself as he turns his attention to the candle and bright red rose that sits off to the side of the table. "Better then yesterday?" Violet holds a little smile as she nods and begins to settle into the comfortable chair. End of chapter 12
