When I woke up I smelled something in the kitchen.
I made my way down to find spike along with yin and yang preparing breakfast, pancakes.
I couldn't help but remember a fuzzy bit of my past from the smell, before the academy but only one thing stood out besides the pancakes.
A lone dark figure cloaked in shadow magic.
I shook the memory away as I sat down at the table.
After breakfast I left Twilight with the Fairy card to study and went outside for some alone time.
I took a moment to enjoy the dawn, then remembered a leaf whistle tune I wrote.
Deciding the song could use some lyrics I closed my eyes and started to sing.

When I had finished singing I opened my eyes to find a small crowd surrounding me listing to the song.
I looked into the crowd and saw Twilight and a few others start clapping followed by the rest of the crowd.
"Thank you," I said to myself slightly ashamed of my singing voice.
One member of the crowd came up to me, her gray mane and purple eyes seemed a bit formal when she said, "Come to the music store when you get the chance," before disappearing back into the crowd.
