When they realized that Kaos was in the core of Mt. Cloudbreak, the Skylanders made haste for the Cloudbreak Core immediately and stop Kaos before the Elementals begin their ritual to erupt the volcano. Spike stayed while Boom Jet was pulled out and replaced with EQG Twilight as he told her,
"There isn't much time. We can't let Kaos evilize the volcano."
EQG Twilight asked, "Isn't it kind of odd going inside an active volcano that could erupt at anytime?"
Spike replied, "Its a bad idea, but we have no other option." They got aboard the Dread-Yacht and flew directly to the Volcano, they even heard Flynn say,
"Usually, I like to fly away from a giant Volcanic Eruption, but that's just me."
Sharpfin replied, "And me."
Tessa said, "Just hurry!" The brave heroes flew into an opening in the volcano which lead to the Cloudbreak Core.
Meanwhile in the Cloudbreak Core, Glumshanks was busy stacking a whole pile of Petrified Darkness because of Kaos' plans to evilize the volcano. As he placed another piece on the top, while keeping the ladder steady, he said,
"Uh, Lord Kaos, I think we have enough."
Kaos said from below, "Nonsense, fool. I can't take any chances. We need to make sure that this volcano is thoroughly evilized before it erupts!"
Glumshanks replied, "Uh, yes but I really don't see how all this...."
Kaos interrupted, "SILENCE GLUMSHANKS!!" The volcano began to shake as the walls began to crack, Kaos said in joy,
"Hurry, the magic is already starting!"
Flynn, Tessa, Sharpfin, Spike and EQG Twilight arrived as Tessa said, "Are we too late?"
Flynn said, "Not if the Skylanders have anything to say about it."
Kaos yelled at the troll, "Now Glumshanks, ADD THE LAST PIECE!!" As Glumshanks added the last Dark Crystal to the pile. It started to crumble down into pieces. Unfortunately landing on top of Kaos as he tried to flee. EQG Twilight asked,
"So, is he stopped?"
Spike replied, "No, the amount of those Dark Crystals crushing him wouldn't likely end him. And because of their dark power, we'll be seeing him again in a few minutes."
They noticed Glumshanks slipping off the ladder and fall on a bunch of other ladders that was brought to the volcano and when he finally stopped, an evil laugh was heard and a giant purple Kaos emerged from the pile of Dark Crystals. He said,
"Yes, YES, I can feel the Darkness flowing through me! Prepare yourselves, FOOLS, to meet your unimaginably Evil DOOM, at the hands of SUPER EVIL KAOS!!!"
Spike looked at him and said to EQG Twilight, "Now is our time to fight."
EQG Twilight's Magic Swords sprang out, "I'm ready."
They jumped onto a ledge near Super Evil Kaos as the monster spotted them, "Well, well, well, if it isn't the second thorn in my side aside from Spyro along with a humanized version of that annoying unicorn, Twilight Sparkle!"
Spike said, "Surprised to see us Kaos?"
Super Evil Kaos replied, "Not at all, but I figured out why she is here." He pointed to EQG Twilight, "You want to know the source of your appearance, the one that brought you to Skylands was I, KAOS!! After a failed Evilzer test, a bunch of portals opened and my minions heard reports of Equestria Girls spotted in Skylands and but I didn't believe it until I saw you two battling the Ancient Earth Golem!"
EQG Twilight said, "So it was you, who brought us here, this whole time!"
Super Evil Kaos laughed, "Surprised, stupid? Well, enough of that." He raised his foot, "Witness your crushing de..." He stomped his foot, "FEET! Oh yes I did!"
Spike replied, "Really?" The impact of Kaos' feet sent out a shockwave that could hurt them. But EQG Twilight spotted a weakness,
"Skylander Spike, Kaos' toes has those Dark Crystals attached to him, we should focus on attacking those."
Spike used an Earth Shot on Kaos' toes as EQG Twilight swung her two swords in a fast motion that was too fast to keep track. Each managed to destroy two Dark Crystals on his toes as Kaos said,
"Curse you, Skylanders, I have very sensitive toes!" He used his other foot as Spike used his Electricity breath and it somehow connected to EQG Twilight's swords and gave each crystal a shock before shattering. Kaos pulled his foot away,
"NO!! Stay away from my toes!!" He used the same foot again and left his crystal toes vulnerable, Spike opened up with Ice to freeze the crystals while EQG Twilight used her swords to shatter them. Super Evil Kaos said,
"Not my Beautiful Evil Toes!!" He lifted up his right foot and said,
"Time to make Skylanders got splat!!" But instead of stomping once, he was stomping twice. After his second stomp, the duo destroyed the crystal on the big toe.
Kaos lifted up his left foot and stomped two times at the duo before they retaliated with a combined attack on Kaos' toes. EQG Twilight said,
"If Rarity were here, she would give you a major pedicure!"
Kaos got that bit and said, "Stupid Pathetic Equestria Girl!!"
After destroying all of the Dark Crystals on his toes, Kaos grabbed the Skylander and the EQG in his hand as he said,
"Time for a late night Skylander Snack!" He ate them, but his head was shaking around in confusion.
Spike and EQG Twilight were in Kaos' mouth as they looked at the tartar on his teeth, Spike got an idea,
"Time for Kaos to go to the dentist." EQG Twilight got the idea and began attacking the Dark Tartar on Kaos' teeth as he yelled,
"No, My EVILNESS!!" They continued attacking Kaos' Dark Tartar as he said, "Get away from my teeth, you pitiful Skylosers!!"
Spike replied, "If it means to defeat you, we won't stay away from your teeth."
Kaos' threw a Fire Geargolem in his mouth and said, "I need something to get that taste out. Fire Golem, destroy the Skylanders!!"
After destroying the Fire Geargolem, Kaos said, "That is hot!!" He closed his mouth which sent out two shockwaves. But they avoided it and continued to attack the Dark Tartar on Kaos' teeth. He threw in an Ice Geargolem and said,
"Minions, Keep the Skylanders away from my Evil Molars!!"
They focused on the Ice Geargolem until Kaos closes his mouth again. After Kaos closed his mouth, they continued to attack the Dark Tartar on his teeth and destroyed some of them until Kaos threw an Tech Geargolem and said,
"Mmmm, tasty!" They continued to fight the Tech Geargolem until Kaos said,
"You Skylanders have been a real pain in my mouth!" He closed his mouth allowing Spike and EQG Twilight to attack the Dark Tartar again and destroyed a couple of them until Kaos threw a Tech and Air Geargolem into his mouth to stop them. But it proved futile for his minions and closed his mouth again and the Skylanders attacked his Dark Tartar until Kaos said,
"Feeling lonely in there? Don't worry, I've got some friends that would keep you company!"
But they ignored his 'friends' and Kaos closed his mouth allowing them to destroy the last of his Dark Tartar. Which caused Kaos to burp out Spike and EQG Twilight. When they fell, they landed in his ear.
Spike and EQG Twilight were inside Kaos' head as his voice echoed,
"You miserable Fools have made a colossal mistake. COLOSSAL, I TELL YOU! Behold, as my magnificent Evilized Brain, now brings all of my brilliant evil thoughts to life!"
Kaos' Evilized brain was thinking of something evil enough to destroy the two Skylanders. He thought up of the vehicle that Glumshanks used, the same vehicle that was destroyed by Scratch and Flash Sentry. Kaos said,
"Glumshanks, clean up this mess!!"
The vehicle was indestructible and the only thing that they could do is avoid it as best as they can. It wasn't until the vehicle drove itself off the platform as Kaos said,
"Curse you, Glumshanks! Even in my head, you're useless!!" His brain began to think of something else,
"YES, MORE MINIONS!!!" A bunch of enemies appeared and he summoned some trolls and said,
"Time to serve up some trolls!!" After defeating the trolls, Kaos said, "Where am I? Oh yes, thinking of something evil!" After defeating the rest of his flunkies, three Dark Crystals shot out of his brain and onto the platform as he said,
"Focus, Super Evil Kaos. Time to rain evil doom down on these Skylosers!"
Spike yelled, "Rockets, Incoming!" They avoided the rockets as they destroyed each other the Dark Crystals on the platform. After destroying the three crystals, Kaos' brain went into a trance as he said,
"Neener neener!" He began to think of those Arkeyan Tornado robots as he said,
"Minions!! Attack the Skylanders!" He summoned a bunch of Cyclopses, "Clearly I need to keep an 'eye' on you. Cyclopses, ATTACK!!"
Spike smiled, "Big mistake." He stood up, flared his wings and said, "HARMONIC POWER!!" The Elements of Harmony latched onto him causing the trinkets to form into armored pieces as he morphed into Harmonic Spike.
Harmonic Spike and EQG Twilight fought off the rest of Kaos' minions as three more crystals shot out from his head,
"Oh you meddling Skylanders. You're giving me a pounding headache!!" Harmonic Spike and EQG Twilight attacked and destroyed the Dark crystals while under fire from an airship that he thought up as Harmonic Spike asked,
"Is that all you got?"
Kaos said, "Now to summon the most dastardly, despicable and deadly thing I can think of. Something to make you and EQG Twilight tremble in TERROR!" He thought up of sheep with his head on it.
EQG Twilight asked, "Sheep with his head on it?" Kaos replied, "Amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it, isn't it?" EQG Twilight began to get angry as her hair erupted in flames as she said,
"Burning Twilight!!"
Harmonic Spike said, "A new ability."
Burning Twilight looked at her Magic Swords, that were erupting with Magical Fire, "Lets finish him off."
Harmonic Spike and Burning EQG Twilight began taking down every single Kaos Sheep that appeared. After defeating the last Kaos Sheep, the last three crystals shot out from Kaos' Evilized Brain as he said,
"Huh, I lost my train of thought. Oh, an evil train." Kaos thought of those bomb puppets from Mesmeralda's show as he said,
"Oh, I hate puppets, but I like bombs!"
He tried to use the bombs to prevent Harmonic Spike and Burning EQG Twilight from destroying the last three crystals, but it was also futile as the Dark Crystals were destroyed.
Super Evil Kaos felt his nose itching until he sneezed out Harmonic Spike and Burning EQG Twilight. They noticed the cannon on the far end of the path as Super Evil Kaos said,
"What is this contraption, You can't stop evil!"
Harmonic Spike looked at Burning EQG Twilight, "We have to get to the cannon and use our powers to defeat him."
Burning EQG Twilight nodded as Super Evil Kaos said, "Feel the burn, Skylosers. FEEL IT!" The burning EQG replied,
"I'm already burning." The duo began their run to the cannon as Kaos began to fire his Evilized powers at them which caused them to jump over them and continue their run to the cannon. Kaos said,
"Now I've got you!" He used his powers again as the duo jumped over his powers as he moved his powers to the left.
"Lets see how you deal with this!" He used his powers again and the duo jumped over as Harmonic Spike replied, "With Jumping."
Kaos stated, "I am the ultimate Evilizer, you can't escape me!" Kaos used his powers again which the duo avoided and jumped into the cannon. Kaos said,
"Are you lost, let me give....." He paused when he realized that the cannon was right in his face, "No, you can't do this to Kaos!!" The cannon fired Harmonic Spike with his wings in flight position and Burning EQG Twilight on his back with her Magical Fire Swords out. They flew straight towards the final Dark Crystal on Kaos' forehead. As they impacted and destroyed the Dark Crystal, Kaos yelled,
"NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" As he fell back and was consumed by a flash of purple light indicating that he is being de-evilized.
Harmonic Spike and Burning EQG Twilight landed right next to Flynn, Tessa and Sharpfin as Tessa pointed out,
"Look, the volcano! You two did it!"
Flynn said, "They did.....I mean of course they did! BOOM!"
Sharpfin noticed the shaking of the volcano as he said, "I hate to interrupt, but we've got a lifetime's supply of magic bottled up underneath our feet..."
Burning EQG Twilight finished, "And in case you don't recall, we are inside an ACTIVE VOLCANO!!"
Flynn knew that it would be an excellent time to leave, "Righty o, this way to my ship!" He went to the right as Harmonic Spike said while pointing with his wing,
"The ship is the other way."
Flynn came back and said, "Oh, thanks Spike." As they made their way to the ship, Kaos appeared as his normal self and said to his butler,
"Quickly, Glumshanks. Get me outta here!!"
Glumshanks replied, "Right away, Master." He walked past the stone and realized that he was shorter, Glumshanks looked down and noticed that he has Kaos' bottom half.
"Uh, sir, I think we have a problem."
Kaos walked around and realized that he has Glumshanks' bottom half. "Wait a minute, Glumshanks. What is this? I feel so different." He began to admire his new form, "Look out, Skylands. Kaos is back and this time, he is tall!!" Although he forgotten that he was in an active volcano.
As the Dread-Yacht went up the tube to the summit of the volcano, the magic was already following them up the tube as well, but with the speed of the upgraded Dread-Yacht, the ship managed to escape the volcano before it fully erupted. The eruption also flung Kaos and Glumshanks out of the volcano as well.
As they returned to Woodburrow, the inhabitants threw the Celebration for the eruption of Mt. Cloudbreak. Flynn said,
"Well we did it, Skylands is safe once again and might I add, we were Awesome!"
Harmonic Spike replied, "And so were us and the rest of the Skylanders."
Flynn noticed, "Well of course that goes without saying."
Burning EQG Twilight asked, "Is my new ability....temporary?" She found that out when her fires began to die down and her flaming hair returned to normal. Tessa said to Flynn,
"I'm sorry you missed your vacation, Flynn."
Flynn replied, "Are you kidding? This has been way better. I saw a big stone monkey, we flew around on giant chickens and there was an evil Puppet show."
Tessa finished, "And the volcano has replenished all the magic in Skylands."
Flynn replied, "Yeah, I don't think how this could get any better." Until a wind blew a hat onto Sharpfin's face and Flynn recognized it as,
"My Magic Volcano Hat!" He finally got to wear his favorite hat on the eruption of the volcano. He said,
"Ah, perfecteroonie. Now this is definitely the most awesome adventure ever. Oh yeah, make some room, here it comes.......ULTIMATE BOOM!!!" After he finished his ultimate boom, he spoke to the duo as Harmonic Spike returned to normal,
"By the way, while you two were playing around with Kaos, Princess Celestia wanted to speak with you back in Equestria. I'd wouldn't want to keep her waiting."
Spike yelled, "Mom, pull us out!" Both Spike and EQG Twilight disappeared.
As they returned to Equestria, they finally discovered the source behind the EQGs arrival. Princess Celestia said,
"All this time, I never knew that Kaos was responsible for bringing the seven of the EQGs here. But it ultimately brought his undoing. But your presence in our universe was not in anchor, but it was now a reminder of the bond that our universes share."
They noticed that the Portal of Power was acting strange as the tablets from the five EQG Skylanders floated to the portal as seven new tablets were created and all twelve tablets began to take on a gem form. The energy exploded as all twelve Gems floated to their selected users. There were three Gems that had a Magical sensation, One gem had a Fiery sensation to it, Three had an Earthen sensation, Two had a Tech sensation, Two had a Life Sensation, and One had an Air sensation it.
EQG Twilight felt the gem land in her hands as she suddenly realized, "Its.....our Soul Gems."
Master Eon said, "The serum is only part one of becoming a Skylander, the Soul Gems are the second stage. But any new Skylanders had their soul gems concealed in the watch on Spike's wrist. But you twelve are the first true EQG Skylanders."
All twelve EQGs now felt as one of the Skylanders and even since four are EQG versions of the original Skylanders, they have now fully realized themselves as Skylanders.
Master Eon spoke to both the Princesses and the Skylanders, "And now thanks to you and the Skylanders, the Cloudbreak Islands have been saved, and the magic in Skylands has been restored. And now since it is the holidays, it is now time for us to spend time with the ponies and people that we care about."
EQG Pinkie Pie and Legendary Trigger Happy had a happy/sad hybrid look on their face until the Alicorn Portal Master chuckled, "And yes, there will be enchiladas." Legendary Trigger Happy and EQG Pinkie Pie had an excited look their face.
