 "SPITFIRE!" Soarin shouted angrily. He dove under the surface and brought Rainbow up. She gasped, coughed, and clung to him.
"Dash, are you okay?", he demanded.
Spitfire noticed how they were hugging, and how he was comforting her. "Sorry, did I interrupt your DATE?", she taunted. "You know, since this IS a romantic scenery."
Rainbow started to break away from Soarin, but he held on.
"What do you want, Spitfire?", Soarin growled.
"Geez, why are you so stressed, Soarin?" This time, the voice came from a palm tree. She flew down, and they could see that it was another member from the Wonderbolts: Misty Fly. "What, do you think you guys are prey and we're gonna go after Dash?"
Soarin stared her down.
Then, Spitfire spoke up, this time, to Rainbow. "Actually, we have some of your Ponyville friends coming here. They asked if you were with us and we said we'd help them look for you."
"Uh-oh," Rainbow mumbled.
Then, as she predicted, Pinkie Pie jumped across the lake and effortlessly broke the bond between Rainbow and Soarin.
"Dashy! We were so worried!"
