Momma's baby boy

Chapter 2
As Celestia's sun raised up Applejack awoke with a sound of somepony whimpering.
"Bolt." She whispered as she went to check on the little colt.
As Applejack came in Bolt's room she saw him tossing and turning in his bed.
"Bolt? Hey Bolt wake up." Applejack said.
Then suddenly Bolt woke up with a start saying.
"MOMMY, DADDY NO!!!!"
As Bolt sat up and started to breath hard Applejack came up to him and started to hug him.
"Shhhh it's ok Bolt it was just a dream, it was all just a dream."
"Oh Applejack it was terrible I saw my mom and dad being killed by the bear again." He said as he cried in Applejack's chest.
Just then Applebloom, Big Mac and Granny Smith came into the room to see Applejack holding the still crying Bolt in her hooves.
"Sister is Bolt alright?" Asked Applebloom.
Applejack looked at her sister and said.
"Yes he's alright he just had a bad dream about his parents."
"Oh poor little guy." Said Big Mac.
Just then Granny Smith then walked up to her granddaughter and looked at the still crying colt.
"Are you alright there sugar?" She asked Bolt.
Bolt looked up at the old mare and said.
"Yes Granny Smith I'm alright." Said Bolt as he dried his eyes.
Some time later in the kitchen as the Apple family along with Bolt were finishing up eating breakfast Applejack spoke up.
"Hey Bolt? Would you like to meet my friends today?"
Bolt looked up at Applejack and smiled.
"Yes please Miss Applejack I would love to meet your friends."
"Great and you don't have to call me miss just Applejack." Applejack said with a smile on her face.
"Oh can he also meet my friends too sis?" Asked Applebloom.
"Of course Applebloom." Applejack said.
"YIPPIE!!!!" Said Applebloom happily as she was jumping up and down.
Downtown Ponyville
Ten minutes later.
As Applejack, Applebloom, and Bolt walked downtown they saw the home of Rarity the Carousel Boutique.
"Well here we are Bolt this is the home of my friend Rarity." Said Applejack.
"Yeah and it's also home to her sister and my friend Sweetie Bell." Said Applebloom.
"So are you ready to meet our friends Bolt?" Asked Applejack.
"Yes Applejack I'm ready." Said Bolt still a little nevus.
As Applejack was getting ready to knock on Rarity's door she was nock down by a bluer of pink.
"Hiya Applejack, what's ya doing on this fine day?" Asked the pink pony.
"Pinkie Pie where did you come from?" Asked Applejack.
"Well I was coming to see Rarity when I saw you, Applebloom, and a new pony at the door so I decided to say hello to him. So where is the little guy huh, huh, huh?"
Then she turned around and saw the little colt hiding right behind Applebloom. When she saw him she got off of Applejack and zipped towards the little colt, and stopped right at his face.
"HEEY THERE! WHO ARE YOU? I AM PINKIE PIE, PARTY PONY EXTROARDINAIRE! ARE YOU NEW HERE? I WILL HAVE TO THROW YOU A PARTY! DO YOU LIKE PARTIES? I LOVE PARTIES, AND CAKES, AND GAMES, AND..."
Pinkie Pie was suddenly stopped by Applebloom's hoof.
"Pinkie please your scaring the poor little guy." Applebloom said.
"Now when I let go of your mouth you promise to be calm around him?"
Pinkie then nodded her head and Applebloom let go of her mouth then Applejack started to speak.
"Pinkie Pie this is Bolt his from Apple Loosa, and...."
Before Applejack could finished the rest of Bolt's story Pinkie Pie interrupted her.
"WHAT HE IS FROM APPLE LOOSA? OH, OH, OH APPLEJACK PLAESE, PLAESE, PLAESE TELL ME HE KNOWS BRAEBURN BECAUSE I MISS HIM AND...."
Applejack put her hoof up to Pinkie Pie's mouth and continued to speak.
"Yes Pinkie he knows Braeburn. Now if you don't mind can we get in the Boutique so we can continue his story?"
Pinkie said nothing but nodded then Applejack let go of her mouth and started to knock on the door of the Carousel Boutique.
"Who is it?" Said a voice behind the Carousel doors.
"Rarity it's me Applejack with Pinkie Pie, Applebloom, and a new pony."
"Hold on darling I'll be right there." Said Rarity from behind the door of the Carousel Boutique.
As Applejack, Applebloom, Pinkie Pie, and Bolt were waiting for Rarity to open the door they could hear somepony complain inside.
"OW RARITY WATCH WHAT YOUR DOING WITH THOSE NEEDLES!!!!"
"Oops sorry Rainbow."
After hearing what was going on in the Boutique Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Applebloom rolled their eyes excepted for Bolt who just liked at them with a confusing look on his face. Just then the door of the Boutique opened and Rarity was standing in the entrance.
"Hello Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Applebloom," she said and then she looked at Bolt.
"Oh and who is this little cutie?" She asked.
"Rarity this is Bolt, Bolt this is my friend Rarity," Applejack said.
"Um h....hello m....miss R....Rarity," said Bolt, a little nevus.
"Oh now darling there is no need to be nevus around me," said Rarity, with a smile on her face.
"Hey Rarity? Is Sweetie Bell here?" Asked Applebloom.
"Yes she is even Scootaloo is here as well," Rarity said.
"Alright," said Applebloom.
With that she ran past Rarity and went to see her friends.
"Well come on in I have some tea, some cookies, and some milk already," said Rarity.
"Thank ya kindly Rarity," said Applejack as she and Bolt came in to see Rainbow Dash just getting out of her dress.
"Howdy there Rainbow," said Applejack.
"Oh hey there Aj," said Rainbow, then she saw Bolt next to Applejack.
"Hey Aj whose the kid?" Dash asked.
"Oh my apologies Rainbow, this is Bolt. I found him all alone in the barn last night." Applejack said.
"Wait you found him alone in your barn? But where are his parents?" Rainbow asked.
When Rainbow said that Bolt started to cry.
"Hey what's wrong with him? What did I do?" Rainbow asked, a little concerned with Bolt.
As Applejack hold Bolt in her hooves she told Rainbow and Rarity what Bolt told her and her family. As Applejack finished Rarity and Rainbow Dash Gasped.
"Oh how terrible," said Rarity.
"Not just terrible but uncool as well," said Rainbow Dash.
Just then Applebloom and her friends came in to see what was going on.
"Uh sis, what's wrong with Bolt?" Applebloom asked, as she saw the little earth pony crying into Applejack's shoulder.
"Rainbow asked about Bolt's parents Applebloom," said Applejack.
"Oh no." said Applebloom.
"No it's ok she just didn't know," said Bolt as he wiped his eyes.
As Bolt finished drying his eyes Rainbow came up to him.
"I'm sorry to hear what happened to your parents Bolt," she said.
"It's ok Rainbow," said Bolt.
"So what did happen to your parents little guy?" Asked one of Applebloom's friends whose name was Scootaloo.
When she said that every pony gave her a stern look.
"What, what did I say?" Asked Scootaloo.
"You know very well what you said Scootaloo," said Rainbow Dash.
"Oh," said Scootaloo, who was now ashamed of what she had just said.
"I'm so sorry Bolt," Scootaloo said, with tears in her eyes.
But Bolt walked up to her and said.
"It's ok Scootaloo, if you want to know what happen to my parents I can tell you," he said.
"Are you sure you want to tell Applebloom's friends about what happened to your parents Bolt?" Asked Pinkie Pie.
"Yes I'm sure Pinkie," said Bolt.
With that Bolt took a deep breath and told Scootaloo and a white filly whose name was Sweetie Bell all about what happened to his parents. When he finished his story they had tears running down their cheeks.
"Oh how terrible," Said Scootaloo.
"Yeah I can't imagine a life with out my parents or my sister," said Sweetie Bell.
Bolt nodded and then Applejack spoke up.
"So Rainbow, what's with the dress?"
"Well its for the Wonder Bolt's festival in Canterlot," Rainbow said, with a smile on her face.
"Oh wow that sounds cool, I'm a big Wonder Bolt fan," said Bolt.
"Really? That is so awsome, maybe I can ask Twilight to put a cloud walking spell on you so we can go together," Rainbow Dash said.
We'll speeking of which we are going to see Twilight and Fluttershy now, so we'll see you all soon." Said Applejack.
Just then Rarity shouted.
"OH NO!!!!"
"What's wrong Rarity?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"I forgot that Celestia's coming today and she needed to see all of us," said the white unicorn.
"Oh no, she can't see little Bolt she mite take him to the orphanage," said Pinkie Pie.
"Yeah I mean he's to piracies to go to an orphanage," said Applejack.
Just then Applebloom had an idea.
"Well what about me, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo take Bolt to our clubhouse and then sis when you are done talking to the princess you can come and pick us up," she said.
Applejack thought for a moment and then said.
"Alright sis but be carful ok,"
"Don't worry sis we will be ok," said Applebloom.
With that Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo took Bolt and set off to their clubhouse.
"Well come on guys and lets see what Celestia wants," said Rainbow, as she lift the Carousel Boutique with Applejack and Rarity trialing far be hide.
When the Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo made it to their clubhouse with Bolt they looked at him with happy expressions on their faces.
"So Bolt, are you ready?" Asked Sweetie Bell sweetly.
"Um ready for what Sweetie Bell?" He asked.
"Well to be inducted into the Cutie Mark Crusaders Bolt," said Scootaloo.
"Uh the cutie what?" Asked Bolt.
"The Cutie Mark Crusaders Bolt," said Applebloom.
"It's the name of our group Bolt, you see we do things to try to get our cutie marks," said Applebloom.
"Oh I see now," Bolt said.
"So how bout it Bolt?" Asked Scootaloo.
"Sure, why not," he said, with a smile on his muzzle.
"Then Bolt welcome to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, " said Sweetie Bell happily, and then they all cheered.
After Bolt was welcomed to the Cutie Mark Crusaders they had a wonderful time trying to find what their special talents from trying to bungee jump, to swimming. But I'm sorry to say they didn't their cutie marks, it was late in the evening when they got back from another day of crusading.
"Oh wow that was so amazing," said Bolt happily, as he was still bouncing around the clubhouse.
"Well we are glad that you had a great time today Bolt," said Applebloom.
Just then a knock came at the clubhouse door.
"I'll get it," said Sweetie Bell.
As she opened it their was Applejack.
"Oh hey Applejack," said Sweetie Bell.
"Hello Sweetie Bell," said the farm pony, then she saw Bolt coming up to her.
"Hey Ms. Applejack, is it time for me and Applebloom to head back to the farm?" He asked.
Applejack looked into the blue eyes of Bolt and said.
"Yes surgarcube, it is time to head back."
"Ok sis we're coming," said Applebloom.
With that Bolt and Applebloom said goodbye to Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo, and then they head back to Sweet Apple Acers with Applejack. As they were heading back to the farm Applebloom saw that her sister looked sad.
"Um Applejack? What's wrong?" She asked.
Applejack looked down at her little sis and then said.
"I'll tell you back at the house," she said.
As Applejack, Applebloom, and Bolt got back to the farmhouse Big Macintosh and Granny Smith were their waiting for them.
"Well there you three are. Did Bolt have a good time?" Asked Granny Smith.
Bolt came up to Granny Smith and said in his most happiest voice.
"Yes I hade Granny Smith."
"Really? What did you do?" Asked Big Mac.
"Oh boy after I met Applejack and Applebloom's friends they took me to the clubhouse. There I was inducted into the Cutie Mark Crusaders, said Bolt, happily.
"And let me guess you joined them in their crazy search for your cutie mark?" Asked Granny Smith.
"Yup I did," Bolt said.
"Ok Bolt, you go and get ready to eat," said Applejack.
"Yes ma'am," said Bolt, as he left to get ready to eat.
When Bolt was out of site Applejack turn to the rest of her family.
"There is something I need to tell you three," she said.
"Really? what is it Applejack?" Asked Big Mac.
Applejack took a deep breath and said.
"well you see while Applebloom and her friends took Bolt to their clubhouse me, Rainbow Dash and Rarity went to see Twilight because Celestia was there to talk to us about something."
"Really?" What kind of something sis?" Asked Applebloom.
"Well she said that two unidentified pony bodies were found two days ago," Applejack said.
As Applejack said that Granny Smith, Big Macintosh, and Applebloom looked at her nervously.
"Oh Applejack, please tell us it wasn't the bodies of Bolt's parents," said Granny Smith.
Applejack said nothing she just stood there with tears in her eyes which made Applebloom, Big Macintosh, and Granny Smith gasp.
"So what are we going to tell little Bolt?" Asked Big Mac.
"I'll tell him after we eat," said Applejack.
"Very well Applejack, now lets go and eat," said Granny Smith.
With that Applejack, Big Mac, Granny Smith, and Applebloom went inside where they found Bolt sitting down at the table.
"Hey what kept you three?" Bolt Asked.
"Oh nothing dear, Applejack just told us about what the princess wanted," said Granny Smith.
"Really? What did she say?" He asked.
"Don't worry Bolt, I'll tell you after we eat," said Applejack.
With that they sat down and started to eat, as they were eating Blot noticed that their was something troubling Applejack.
"Um Applejack, are you ok?" He asked.
Applejack looked at the young earth pony and said.
"Bolt, come outside with me there is something I need to tell you."
"Um ok Applejack," Bolt said, a little concerned of what Applejack, wanted to tell him.
As Applejack and Bolt went outside, Applejack started to cry.
"Applejack? What's wrong?" Asked Bolt.
Applejack took a deep breath and said.
"Bolt, hun I....I've got some bad news."
"Wha....what kind of bad news Applejack?" Bolt asked.
"Well when me, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash were at my friend Twilight's house to see Princess Celestia, she informed us that her guards found two unidentified pony bodies two days ago."
After Applejack said that Bolt started to get scared.
"Did....did Celestia find out who they are?" He asked.
"Yes Bolt,"
"Was it, was it my parents?"
"Yes," Applejack said softly and sadly.
As soon as Applejack said that Bolt started to cry.
"Oh Bolt please don't cry," Applejack said, trying to console the little colt.
A few minutes later Bolt had cried himself to sleep into Applejack's hooves.
"Oh Bolt, I'm so sorry," she said, as she put him on her back and took him back to the house.
As Applejack arrived back to the house with Bolt, Applebloom, Granny Smith, and Big Macintosh were their waiting.
"Well what happened sis?" Asked Applebloom.
*Sigh* "He didn't take it to well Applebloom." Applejack said.
After hearing that Applebloom started to cry.
"So what are we going to do?" Asked Big Mac.
"Simple, I'm going to tell the princess about Bolt and then I'm going to ask her if i could be Bolt's adopted mother," said Applejack.
When she said that Applebloom, Granny Smith, and Big Macintosh were looking at her with worried looks.
"Um Applejack, surger are you sure that this is what you want?" Asked Granny Smith.
Applejack took a deep breath and then said.
"Yes granny, this is what I want for both Bolt and me."
"Well then sugarcube if that's what you want then I'm alright with it," Granny Smith said."
"Does thant mean that I'm going to be an aunt?" Asked Applebloom.
"Yes little sis that is what it means," said Applejack.
"YIPPIE!!!!" Said Applebloom, happily.
Then Applejack turned to her brother.
"So what about you Big Mac? How do you feel about being an uncle?"
"I would like that very much Aj," Big Macintosh said.
Applejack smiled at her family and said.
"Alright but lets not tell Bolt alright because I want it to be a surprise."
Applebloom, Granny Smith, and Big Macintosh, looked at Applejack and nodded.
"Great now I'm going to put Bolt to bed and then I'm going to bed myself," she said.
"Alright sugar goodnight," said Granny Smith.
"Goodnight Granny and Goodnight Applebloom, and Big Macintosh."
"Goodnight," said Applebloom and Big Macintosh.
With that Applejack went upstairs with Bolt still asleep on her back. When she got to the bedroom and placed Bolt in bed she gave him a kiss on the cheek and said in a sweet voice.
"Goodnight Bolt and I can't wait to see your reaction when you hear that i want to be your new mother."
With that Applejack turned and went to bed thinking of the new life she was going to have with Bolt.
