Running away

Fun with Morphine

Numb.

That's what Chrysalis felt when she woke up. Nothing but a numb feeling that enveloped her body in it's cold embrace.

She let out a moan of exasperation as her eyes flickered open briefly before closing again. The last thing she could remember doing was saying Twilight's name, everything before or after that was a blur. She would have to figure that out later, her main priority at the moment was waking up.

Forcing her eyes open once again she almost closed them as she was blinded by the light that encompassed the room. Instead she squinted until her eyes adjusted to the light, although everything was still blurry.

A purple blob moved into her field of vision as she moved her head around and tried to determine where exactly she was. Chrysalis reached out towards the purple blob. The blob looked friendly enough, she wondered if it would want to be her friend.

Chrysalis opened her mouth and attempted to speak to the blob, but found that it was practically impossible when she couldn't feel her tongue.

"Muhhrherrg." Was what she had succeeded in saying, although it could hardly be considered a word.

"Don't worry, you should be able to speak coherently in a few minutes." The blob said.

'That sounds like Twilight.' Chrysalis thought.

True to the blob's words, when she tried to speak five minutes later she was able to. She didn't understand why since she still couldn't feel her tongue, but she decided to just take it with a can of worms and accept it. "What happened to me? She asked.

The purple blob brought a brown blob over to it. "Well..." The blob began as it moved closer and came into focus, allowing Chrysalis to see that it was indeed Twilight Sparkle. "Your right forehoof was broken, you appear to have suffered some minor memory loss, your left lung was scraped by something and you've been bleeding internally for several days now. Your chitin was cracked and broken along your left side and your eyes were most likely damaged.

Your eyesight should return slowly over the next several hours and the morphine I gave you, you don't want to know what I had to go through to get that, should wear off in......." Twilight quickly scanned the paper levitating in front of her. "About five minutes. So all in all you almost died. Again. Good thing you came to me when you did, you wouldn't have lasted another 20 minutes on your own."

"That's nice."Chrysalis responded as she gazed around the room, taking note of the various medical appliances that had without a doubt been hooked up to her until recently.

"HOW IS THAT NICE?!" Twilight screeched, parts of her mane spontaneously popping out of place. "YOU COULD HAVE BUCKING DIED!"

Chrysalis turned her attention back to Twilight and giggled. "You look funny."

Twilight looked like she was about to yell at her again, but instead just sighed as she began fixing her mane. "That's just the morphine talking." She muttered to herself.

Chrysalis' eyes wandered over Twilight's body. She had quite a nice figure for somepony who spent most of the day reading books. "Hmm...I want to tell you something, what don't you come closer?"

Twilight gave her a suspicious look, but decided to indulge the Changeling queen. Levitating the paper over to a nearby table Twilight set it down neatly on top of several other papers and trotted up to the bed she had laid Chrysalis on.

She should have listened to her instincts and refused.

Chrysalis waited until Twilight was sitting right next to before striking. Levitating Twilight up into the air and ignoring her shriek of surprise, Chrysalis placed her on the bed next to her and wrapped her hooves over Twilight's chest, preventing the Unicorn from moving.

"C-Ch-Chrysalis?" Twilight asked nervously once she had stopped freaking out.

"Yes?" Chrysalis crooned, rubbing Twilight's barrel softly, causing the young Unicorn to shudder.

"W-What are you doing?"

Flipping Twilight over so that they were facing each other, Chrysalis pressed their bodies closer together. She rested her head in the crook of Twilight's neck and hummed softly. "I enjoy your company." Chrysalis said clearly, which alerted Twilight to the fact that the Morphine had all but worn off. Whatever Chrysalis was doing she was doing it of her own free will.

"Thst doesn't explain why you're holding me like this."

Chrysalis moved her head back so she could look Twilight in the eyes. "Oh?" She chuckled. "Well then maybe this will clear things up for you."

Reaching forward Chrysalis opened her mouth slightly and dragged her tongue along Twilight's horn.

Twilight let out a barely audible gasp as she seized in Chrysalis' hooves. "I-I-I d-don't u-un-derstand." She stuttered, releasing a moan as Chrysalis wrapped the muscle around the base of her horn briefly before withdrawing it back into her mouth.

Chrysalis gazed down at the Unicorn in her embrace. "You really are ignorant aren't you?"

"H-Hey!" Twilight began to protest, but was cut off as Chrysalis pressed their lips together. It was a short kiss, but it got the message across to the bookworm. Twilight struggled to speak, her lips quivering, her eyes darting every which way, her ears twitching, and her horn letting off short bursts of magic into the air every two seconds. Chrysalis watched her with mild interest. She'd seen this side of Twilight before, but it was always so satisfying to watch her reactions.

When Twilight's mouth finally caught up to her brain she managed to speak almost an entire word. "Wha...?"

And then Twilight's brain overloaded.
