At the Ponyville library, Twilight, Lunar, Spike, Nyx and Lunar were seen packing up. They are getting Ready to leave for the Crystal Empire for the holiday. This is the first time Twilight and Nyx are spending the holiday with Twilights brother. Twilight planned it with both her parents, and with shining armor and Cadence. Which they all agreed it be a good idea. Tex never knew about the Crystal Empire at all,. She then turned to Nyx "Nyx what is this, Crystal Empire?" Tex asked.
"The Crystal Empire is basically a long forgotten city that disappeared long ago. It used to be ruled by Sombra, but since his death, uncle Shining and aunt Cadence took the throne."
"I hope it's neat."
Suddenly, Rainbow Dash came into the Library. She is also going to spend the holiday with Nyx and her family. Rainbow told her mother and father that she is gonna be spending the holiday with Nyx's family this year, since she is part of her family due to her becoming her godmother. Rainbows parents gladly allowed Rainbow to spend the holiday with her goddaughter and her family. She also had to tell her boss that she will be on vacation out of town, which she accepted it, since Rainbow deserves a vacation for her hard work. "Yo Twi, are you guys ready for the holiday?" Rainbow asked.
"we sure are Rainbow. I'm so glad you are spending the holiday with us since you are now part of are family ever since you became Nyxs godmother."
"Well i'm excited to hang with Nyx and do something special for her."
minutes later both Nyx and Tex came down stairs which Tex was helping Nyx carry her stuff. Ever since Tex became Nyx's friend, she's been enjoying living with Nyx. She even vowed to Nyx that she will protect her from harm, if she senses something bad. Nyx then saw Rainbow Dash. With a big smile on her face she ran and tackled Rainbow playfully. "Hey Rainbow. I'm really happy you are coming with us." Nyx said with a smile
"heh, I guess since we are family, I decided to spend the holiday with yours since i'm now part of your family." Rainbow said while giving Nyx a hug.
Nyx got off of Rainbow Dash and allowed her to get up. After she got up, Lunar came downstairs with his stuff all ready. It is gonna be his first time ever meeting Twilights parents, her brother, and Cadence. "I guess you're ready hun?" Lunar said to Twilight.
Twilight couldn't help but blush. Ever since Lunar enter Twilight's life, she felt sorry for Flash Sentry. As Twilight, Rainbow, Lunar, Nyx, Tex and Spike left the library, Twilight couldn't help but remember Flash Sentry. Suddenly when thinking of Flash Sentry, Twilights eyes were going wide. "uh oh." said Twilight
"What's wrong hun?"
"I forgot to tell Flash sentry, my former crush that i have a Coltfriend. Drat."
"Flash sentry? Oh you mean that Colt Nyx told me about when you and her went to the human world to retrieve your original crown from Sunset Shimmer, which was way before you returned it to the Tree of harmony?'
"That's right.... wait, Nyx told you about that?"
"Ya, she said you had a Crush on him."
"Well a little one. Wait are you mad?"
"No, i'm not. besides you Just need to tell him about us."
"I'll do that."
The group now approched the Train Station and there waiting for the group Was Twilight's parents, Twilight velvet, and Night Light. They all smiled as they saw their daughter and Nyx show up with the others. "Hi sweetheart." said Twilight Velvet.
"Hey mom, hey dad."
"Hey grandma, hey grandpa." Said Nyx
"Hi Nyx. So Twilight, who's the colt there and that Dragon?" Night light asked her daughter.
"This here is Lunar Eclipse, Lunas long lost son whom was corrupted by The Shadows Blessing, and disappeared for 1004 years by freezing himself in time. But thanks to Nyx the blessing was removed and He became my coltfriend. I'll let him tell you the story someday."
"Ok. who's the Dragon?"
"I'm Nyx's friend Tex. I'm a Space Dragon. Nice to meet you."
"Wow."
"Hey, Twilight velvet." said Rainbow Dash
The two parents then saw Twilights friend and they were shocked. They then looked at their daughter. "Uh why is mrs. Dash here?" Twilight velvet asked
"She is Nyxs godmother and now is part of our family. She is spending the holiday with us."
"That's fantastic."
They then started to board the Train to the Crystal Empire. as they got to there seats, Nyx Approched her mom. "Mom where do you want me to sit?" Nyx asked.
"Why don't you sit with Rainbow Dash. i'll be sitting with Lunar."
"Ok."
The group then took there seats. Tex sat by Spike while Nyx was sitting with Rainbow Dash. Throughout the Train ride, Nyx was reading a Daring Do book with Rainbow Dash. Nyx remembered that Shining armor already forgiven her that year. SHe was eagered to see her aunt and uncle again. Tex was talking to Spike, She was asking what the Crystal Empire is like. Spike explain alot of things about the Empire and mentioned the Crystal heart, its priced Jewel that's filled with power. Tex knew right away to not mess with the Crystal Heart.
The train was now approaching the Crystal Empire Train Station. When it stopped at the station, the group got up and walked out of the train and proceeded to head to the Crystal Empire. When they have arrived at the empire, two guards lead the group to the palace. As they entered the Palace they saw both Shining Armor and Cadence. "Twilight, Nice to see you again." Shining armor greeted.
"Nice to see you brother."
"Hey Twilight."
"Cadence."
Twilight then walked up to Cadence and they proceeded to do there greeting "Sunshine, Sunshine ladybugs awake, clap your hooves, and do a little shake!" they said together
"Uh, what was that?" Tex asked Nyx
"That is my moms greeting when ever she sees cadence. She said it''s something Cadence taught her when mom was little."
Shining armor then saw Nyx and he smiled. "Hi Nyx. how's my Niece doing?"
"I'm doing good uncle shiny. Oh look at this."
Nyx then closed her eyes and suddenly the Equestrian emeralds came to view and spun slowly around her. "check it out, it's the equestrian emeralds.' she said.
"Wow Nyx, that's so neat. So you're destined to use their power."
Cadence then smiled at Nyx and gave her a hug. Shining armor saw Rainbow. Rainbow then told him that She is now part of Twilights family since she became Nyx's godmother. Which Shining Armor gladly accepted Rainbow into the family. he then saw a Dragon. "Twilight, who is the Dragon?"
"I'm Tex. I'm Nyx's Friend and pet Space Dragon. I became Nyx friend after i received visions of her." Tex said
Shining was glad the dragon turns out to be a nice dragon like spike. After saying there hellos and both Shining and Cadence meeting Lunar, Shining showed Everyone to there rooms. Nyx couldn't share a bedroom with Twilight, because it only fits two and she had to share it with Lunar. Twilight knew Nyx had to be with some she can trust to sleep with during the time. Rainbow then volenteered that she will share a bed with Nyx. Twilight and Lunar talked about it and they decided to allow Rainbow to share a bed with Nyx. Nyx was okay with it, since she is used to being with Rainbow. Tex even got to share the room too. As they got settled in, They went to the dining room and had Dinner with a radio station playing. "So Lunar what do you mean when you were corrupted?" Twilight velvet asked.
"Have you heard of Dark Shadow?"
Both Twilight parents, and both Shining Armor and Cadence gasped. They knew about Dark Shadow. According to what the knew Dark Shadow was more evil then Sombra. Dark Shadow was known for wanting to conquer and enslave all of Equestria.
"Well basically, 1004 years ago i have witness the killing of my Marefriend Fire Storm. When I tried to run, Dark Shadow got be and blessed me. when my Mom, Luna was banished, and Dark Shadow was sealed in the shadows, I Went haywire, which caused the emeralds to remove themselfs from me and i Froze my self. 1004 years later, I was unfrozen by a Dragon. After many months of suffering and taking orders from Dark Shadow, whom was freed from the shadows by the same dragon. I regained control over myself for a certain amount of time and plead to Nyx to remove the blessing. we then went in battle with Dark Shadow, but he killed me, which lead Nyx to kill Dark Shadow for his sins, since sealing him won't work. I was then resurrected by the emeralds. in the end i'm living with Twilight."
"So Nyx killed Dark Shadow?"
"By using the power of the Equestrian Emeralds, by using it's Special ability, FInal Strike. she saved herself and all of Equesteria."
As they ate dinner, they felt very sorry for Lunar to go through a bad experience. Suddenly on the Radio station a familiar song was playing, Nyx suddenly realize it was the song she sung during the concert months ago. It was Shadows. "Nyx, i didn't even realize that the song went on radio."
"me either."
As they listen to the song, They even noticed how Nyx voice, shows the pain she is facing while she is still facing the Shadows of her identity crisis. as the song concluded. Shining armor and Cadence were surprised. The didn't even realize Nyx was still fighting the shadows of what she did. After dinner, Twilight asked where Flash Sentry is When they told her where he is, she went to talk to him. It now was 9pm and Nyx decided to go to bed. Rainbow led her to their bedroom and put her in bed. She knew Nyx was tired from packing. Tex made a bed for herself and went to sleep. Tomorrow, they are going to have fun.
