Location: Canterlot, Celestia's chambers.
POV: Celestia
Time: an hour after the news of the 'key'
It has been nearly an hour since the news has came, and the heartless that I tried to keep at bay were assaulting the shield of light with extreme ferocity.
I struggled to keep the shield up even now, my reserved strength slowly fading. My sister, Luna knew all too well that I could not hold out much longer and came to comfort me. Her dark blue, cooling coat was against mine and her ethernal mane, looking as if it was part of the night sky as well wrapped around me. It was comforting, but I knew all too well that not even her silly canterlot royal 'we' or her optimistic personality even at dreadful times shinning through her turquoise eyes.
For a moment I paused, there were so few who had that look and I could remember all those I had met, and missed terribly due to my eternal life, but their friendships and memories kept her in a good mood, even now as the last of my strength dispersed and the shield dropped.
Now I could sense heartless sprouting up from the grounds around canterlot and heading to- My eyes shot open and my gaze was on ponyville, where the elements of harmony were at, and my student. With an urgent tone of voice, i spoke, "Luna! Gather the royal guards and send them to ponyville to protect everypony... You know fully well what the heartless can do to them."
Luna replied, "We will get them there post-haste!" Then with the face of a mare int he time of battle, ran off to call upon the guard.
After Luna had run off, I looked to ponyville and sighs. "I hope the keyblader is there, and disposes of the heartless."

Location: outside of ponyville hospital
time: minutes before heartless touchdown
pov: Sora
"You don't belong on this world. Can you tell the others?" Pinkie pie asked as she bounces next to me.
"I'm sorry, but I can't tell them. It is part of the rules as you stated before... so I have to ask you promise not to tell anyo- anypony?" My voice was a bit hushed as to not draw attention to our conversation, but then again everypony we passed thought nothing of it and only drew their attention to pinkie pie, saying "Hello" or "Good afternoon."
Pinkie just smiled and said, while doing some motions to it, "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cup cake in my eye."
Sora smiled and then nods, guessing it was her way of making a promise, so he did not question it too much. "Thanks, it really does mean a lot to me that the secret is kept."
Pinkie just stared off, as if distracted by something, and I turn to face it, barely noticing the others of the mane 6 heading our way.
Then I noticed something I wish hadn't come with the job, which turned my happy expression to a serious one. "Heartless...."
A large black mass that was comprised of flying heartless was heading his way. On instinct I would open my muzzle, and the keyblade would shine out in light and take the form of the kingdom key, which was ready to fight by my side.
As I was about to take off a hoof held my tail down, causing me to look back at an orange colored pony. "Who da hay are you!?"
"Sora, and I can't talk right now! A crisis is about to happen and I need to stop it right now." I easily sweep my tail out of her hoof and flew into the air, my wings flapping in the air as if it was normal and natural, while I thought it was that I was in a world similar to Neverland, so I did not mind at all how it was happening, but I was once more in the air and charging at heartless.
Ten paces.....five paces....then impact.
I was now slashing down heartless left and right, using some of my moves from my lion form and adding onto it. Slash, corkscrew spin, a mock version of sonic rave, and then finishing with an explosion.... that hit me hard and sent me spiraling to the ground.
Quickly the ground came into my view and then was enveloped in a purple tint as someone erm somepony caught me in her aura. A purple unicorn, pegasus hybrid set me down next to pinkie pie. "Alright girls, first we chase off whatever these things are, and then we get answers from him... are you able to fight still?" She has spoken with much authority and anger, but it was then dashed away to show some worry in her eyes.
"I am fine, I've been through worse. I can, and I will fight. I can't give up here, I still have peo- ponies I have to protect." Slowly, I would stand onto all four hooves and the hybrid nods, running off with the other girls while me and Pinkie got surrounded by heartless.
Pinkie pulled out some cannon out form behind me, and I got the keyblade ready, preparing for the oncoming attack.
I thought this could go on for hours on end without relent, and one idea popped into my head, but my still ever present nobody. Drive Form.
Shaking my head, I would tell him mentally I doubt that would work without Donald and Goofy.
Can't you feel it thought? The link between you and the pink one even now is growing.

Location: Sora's Station of Awakening
Time: present
POV: Roxas
I smiled a bit as I knew what Sora felt, and could even sense what the dimwitted guy could not. The thing I could feel was a new chain of friendship, or perhaps an old one slowly forming or reforming. Only, I could not tell wither it is old or new.
Anyways he was frozen a bit and he smiled to me, knowing I was right on this one. "Now go on Sora, try to reach out and combine with Pinkie."
I watched the new chain slightly glow as well as the station of awakening as Sora's heart resonates with the new chain of friendship. Power empowers his heart and the connections between him and his friends strengthen.
As this power surges through Sora, her turned to pinkie pie and asked in a serious tone, "Do you trust me Pinkie?" Despite being able to hear what Sora and other's said, I only hear the fading echos of it.
As that one faded, I heard the next say, "Yes, I do, now what's the plan?" Pinkie was speaking clearly compared to the rest of the voices, so I was a bit miphed about it, but paid no mind.
Sora spoke once more, "Then let's combine out power. When you feel the light engulf you, son't worry alright?"
The image of Pinkie pie giggling and nodding appears in my head for some reason and I just smile, wondering who she reminded me so much of.
Slowly the image started to fade and the light that was enveloping the chain and the station of awakening brightens, till it is brighter than the sun could ever hope to be.

Location: Ponyville
Pov: Twilight Sparkle
Time: seconds before the transformation
For minutes, which seemed like hours we fought whatever the black creatures were, and not one of out attacks besides mine and rarity's hit. Even then, it didn't seem to even make a dent within whatever magic is protecting them.
We were all exhausted, and laying on the ground, and the things were advancing towards us, raising their claws to attack. Yet it froze and turned, looking at a soft light that suddenly exploded into a mixture of white and pink, scattering the heartless that were all around us and causing them to disperse in a cloud of darkness, and for a crystal heart of multiple colors going up into the sky.
Yet even as it disappeared, my eyes were caught on the pony standing where the light came from the blue pegasus pony with what looked like a party cannon in one hoof, and the strange object from before in the other.
It was strange, but I could feel so much magic coming just from that one pony, that could rival Princess Celestia, but it was an PEGASUS! How is this even possible!? And where is pinkie pie!? The purple alicorn could not wrap her head around the magic she felt from him.

Sora looked out a window, out to the night sky.
"You are two, not just a single pony, one who is real, the other a phony."
Sora was stunned, not by the mare's words, but from a sudden tugging feeling he felt within his chest.
"Under the name of Princess Luna, you are hereby under arrest!"
"Many things to come! See you there!"
