It's been a month since Lunar moved to Ponyville. A month since his welcoming party. Through the course of the month, Twilight went on dates with Lunar, while Spike was in charge of watching Nyx during the time. Nyx even let her mom and dad read her book, Past Sins. Nyx was hanging at Rainbow dash's place during the weekend and during the month, Nyx was starting to feel lonely. Fluttershy even noticed. she offered Nyx a pet, but she declined.
Now at the library, Lunar and Twilight were waiting for Nyx to come home. the front door to the library opened and Nyx and Rainbow were standing in front. "Hey Mom, hey Dad." said Nyx.
"Hi sweetie."
Nyx walked in and Rainbow offered to help Nyx bring her stuff to her room. after she bought her stuff to her room, Twilight talked with Rainbow, asking how she was. Rainbow replied that Nyx is still feeling lonely and wants a friend. She also noticed Nyx was missing peewee so much. Twilight and Lunar couldn't help but feel sorry for Nyx. Peewee being returned to his family must of been bad for her. Rainbow said her goodbyes and headed towards her home.
Night
The night came and Nyx was seen outside. She was looking down at the ground. She was taken to Pinkie earlier in the day, but turned out Pinkie couldn't help. Spike then came outside and saw Nyx, he also knew that Nyx missed peewee so much. He came to Nyx's side. "Nyx, I know it's not easy, but I had to do the right thing."
"I know spike, but this is making me feel bad."
"Nyx, Fluttershy offered you a pet, but you declined one."
Nyx then looked up at the stars in the sky
"That's just it Spike, i want a pet, but a friend of my own. A friend that can understand me. A friend who would protect me." Nyx said as she turned to face Spike.
"I....Just wish there was a creature that can speak like you."
"Well time will tell. You should go to bed, You have School tomorrow."
Nyx then realized what spike was saying. She then nodded in agreement and headed inside with spike. Once they were inside, a strange thing was seen flying in the sky, it was black and was like the starry, It was a Legendary dragon, the Space Dragon. in Equestria, Space dragons are known for peace with being across the galaxy and none haven't been seen in Equestria in a long time. The Space Dragon then landed and looked around. "I hope I find this Nyx filly. She looks like she can use a friend." it said as it began to search for the filly.
Morning
It was now a monday morning and Nyx got up and went downstairs. When she got downstairs her dad was reading the newspaper with Twilight while Spike was cooking breakfast. Twilight looked and saw Nyx. "Morning Nyx." said Twilight.
"Morning Mom"
Lunar was to busy reading the Newspaper, when suddenly, something caught his eye in it. A Recent report showed that a mysterious flying figure has been spotted late last night. Lunar kept reading and he got to the part where the reporter says they think it's a Space Dragon. "thats weird how can a Space Dragon be here in Equestria?" Lunar asked.
"What is a Space Dragon?"
"A Space Dragon is a Dragon that usually lives in Outer Space. Basically some Space Dragons live on Planets with life." said Twilight.
Spike then announced that breakfest is ready. Lunar put down his Newspaper and walked into the Kitchen with Twilight and Nyx. as they walked in They saw That Spike made Pancakes, and eggs. The group then sat down and began to eat. As Nyx was eating she was still hoping a friend is out there for her. She even began to wonder if the Space Dragon is the friend she needed. Twilight was hoping Nyx gets a friend of her own. Like how Spike is her friend and helps her out. Lunar on the other hand, couldn't stand Nyx being depressed. as they were eatting, Nyx was acting weird. "Ugh" she grunted.
"Nyx are you Okay?" Twilight asked
Nyx then began to here a voice. "Nyx, don't fear my voice or who i am. I, have no name. If you heard, a Space Dragon has been spotted. That Dragon, is me. I am friendly, I mean no harm. I hope we meet soon." Said the Space Dragon in a female voice. Twilight was looking at Nyx.
"Nyx, you okay?" asked Twilight
"Thats weird, I heard the Space Dragons voice."
"What? How?"
"I'm not sure. It can be because it may of heard my plea."
Spike then remembered Nyx's wish from yesterday. He was now wondering if it came true. He remembered Nyx say she wants to have a friend that can speak like him. Nyx finished her meal and went upstairs to brush her teeth. Twilight didn't even realize that Space Dragons have Telepathic powers. She then saw Nyx get ready for School. "Hey Nyx can you tell me what the Space Dragon said?" Twilight asked
Nyx then began telling Twilight what the Space dragon said. As she told Twilight, Twilight was shocked. It sounded like the Space Dragon needed a friend also and was looking for Nyx. She then saw the time and it was time to take Nyx to school. Twilight got ready and Got Nyx's school bag. Nyx said goodbye to Lunar, Spike and Owlowiscious. Twilight and Nyx then walked out of the Library and headed towards the school house. Nyx and Twilight were still wondering why would the Space Dragon know Nyx. They knew they had to wait until the answer is revealed.
