As I lay there on the couch I started seeing images of Father. He said that he will be sending a scroll in a couple more days. My task must be hard if hes giving me three years to accomplish it. As I continue to look at the images passing through my mind I hear a faint voice. Its reading a poem, over and over again.


Roses are red
Violets are blue
I'm an assassin 
And I've come for you

Don't cry out
Don't ask why
Go in peace 
For you have to die

Leave this world
And go to hell 
I know of your crimes
This won't end well


Listening to the words I start to wonder, more and more, what my task really is. Father said obstacles. But what kind of obstacles could he be talking about. Just as the voice stopped reading the poem I felt my eyes flutter open. I quickly jumped up and looked at a clock that was across the room. I was asleep for an hour. Applejack must be furious of me for keeping her waiting. Checking the clock one more time I run towards the door. As soon as i'm out it i let my wings unfold, taking up into the sky. Applejack said meet her by the library. I look for the tree shaped building and spot it near the center of town. As fast as I could, I flew over towards the building. About halfway there I see the blue blur pass by again. But this time i got a better look. It was a pegasus, with a rainbow colored mane and tail. The pony stopped mid-flight, turned and saw me staring at her. She then took off towards the library. Maybe she was one of the friends Applejack was talking about. She looks somewhat familiar too. I dont see how though, the only other pony i've ever met before today was my father, and the occasional bypasser, but none of them looked like this pony. I hurry along and as I approach the building I see Applejack standing outside with five others. I recognised two of them to be Pinkie Pie and Rarity. But there were three others that I haven't met yet.

“Hey there, partner! Meet the gang. You've already met Rarity and Pinkie. So Ill introduce you to the other three. This heres Fluttershy” Applejack pointed.

“H...hi. I'm Flutt…..Fluttershy.”she said shyly

“Hi Fluttershy, nice to meet you” I held out a hoof to her, but she flinched and ran inside the building. I can see why they call her FlutterSHY. Poor thing, so shy that she can't even shake hooves with me.

“Over there is RainbowDash, and the one who ran inside after Fluttershy is Twilight Sparkle” smiling Applejack started to walk towards the building.

I followed her inside and as she shut the door I heard a voice in the corner. She turned on the lights and my eyes followed the voice. In the corner sat Fluttershy and a purple pony hovering over her. The purple pony turned to see who was her and smiled. Her eyes kept wandering over us and stopped when they saw me. Our eyes met and I could see hers getting wider.
