They didn't dare talk to me, however, for they were afraid they would catch my 'disease'. I arrived at the palace, where two royal guards waited. They didn't say anything, so I shrugged and attempted to walk in, but they unfolded their wings and stopped me in my tracks. "Halt! What business do you have at the castle?" One of them asked. "Good afternoon, I wish to see Princess Celestia." I replied, trying to sound like a friend, not a foe. "What is your name?" The other one asked. "Draco." I replied. The two guards looked at each other, and folded their wings back into place. "Princess Celestia says you have access to the castle at all times." One said, keeping a straight face. I walked towards the door and said, "Thank you very much." I walked in to see the same old palace, the big steps with the velvet carpet below, with a few statues here and there. I walked through many corridors and hallways, progressing towards Princess Celestia's throne room. I had finally found it, and opened the door. She noticed me and smiled. "Greetings, Draco. I have heard news that you have completed your mission." She said. "Yes your highness. I would like to thank you for allowing us to keep our weapons." I replied. She nodded. "But, there is one small problem." She said. Oh, no. This can't be good. "That problem would be?" I asked. "Two ponies were being enslaved by your father, correct?" She asked. I nodded. "Yes. But I don't understand what seems to be the problem. They are perfectly fine." I said. "From local news, they are not." She said, her voice getting a bit lower. I gulped. "Pineapple has been seen lightning ponies on fire, whether on purpose, or on accident. And D has been seen, as she calls it, seducing stallions, and then devouring certain body parts of them. In other words, those two cannot be tolerated around here, neither your friends." She explained. My eyes widened. "What? But... They just need to get used to Ponyville better! And what have my other friends done?!" I asked. "Bumble was a murderer once. Lightning has destroyed property of Ponyville a few times before. Stargazer has gotten into quite a few fights with Ponyville's residents. Do I even have to continue?" She said, and there was silence for a few seconds. She went on, "Unless you and your friends can stop this nonsense, you will be banished from Equestria." She finished. I nodded, and turned to leave. I arrived at Ponyville again, and began looking around for Stargazer. But I checked everywhere, and he was nowhere to be found. I sighed, and noticed the sun was going down, and I didn't have a home. Suddenly, I heard a strange noise. Almost like... bouncing? I listened more, and it was getting closer. Soon, I found a large blue object bouncing off a ton of houses and walls. I slammed into me, but I held my position, and it stooped in front of me. It hit the ground, and it appeared to be Stargazer, looking dizzy as ever. "Stargazer! I have been looking all over for-" "One second." He interrupted. He looked over and threw up into a nearby bush. He looked back at me. "You might want to be asking what that was. Well, I made a new friend." He said. "Stargazer?" A voice said, coming around the corner of a house. I turned to see a light blue pegasus with dark blue stripes, mane and tail the same, walk around the corner. Stargazer gestured to me, and then her. "Vortex, this is Draco, and Draco, this is Vortex." He said. I walked over and shook her hoof. "Nice to meet you." I greeted, but her mouth was agape. "Uh, are you alright?" I asked. She then started to flip out. "Oh my gosh! You're half pony half dragon! That is so amazing! I love dragons! I was wondering if I could examine you!" She spatted out. I took a step back. "All of me?" I asked. "All of you." She repeated. I scratched the back of my head. "Uh, maybe some other time." I said. "Anyways! Did the test work?" She looked over at Stargazer. "Well, it got out of hand. I couldn't control myself, and it was very nauseating. But I didn't feel any pain, so we're getting better." He said. "That's what she said!" Vortex said, and fell back laughing. Wow. I've never met a pony like her before. It's almost as if she knows how to be the average male. Not me, however. "Well, still, that was good." She said when she stopped laughing. "Also, I learned how to do this!" Stargazer said, and lifted his two front hooves up. He slammed them down on the ground, and shot up towards the sky. A few seconds later, he came back down, only to shoot up again. Eventually, I flew up and caught him as he was falling down, slowing his speed. When we landed, I dropped him and he bounced a few feet off the ground a few times. "Pretty neat, huh?" He said. He began to bounce higher, about thirty feet into the air. "Actually, the effect is about to wear off in two seconds." Vortex said. "What?" Stargazer said, but was interrupted by the ground coming into contact with his face. He looked up. "'M arright." He slurred, and fell to the ground, out cold. "We better drag him to his house." Vortex said, and grabbed one of his legs. "Can you help me with this?" She asked. "Not a problem." I said, and lifted him up on my back. We began to walk towards his house, and Vortex decided to start a conversation. "So, where are you from?" She asked. "Dracoria, the land of the dragons." I replied. "Oh. What happened there?" She asked. "My father was the ruler and a tyrant that wanted to take over the world. He had gained control of many lands, but the only one he had a failed attempt was at Equestria. I recently killed him, with my friends, Stargazer, Muffin, Lightning, Ruby, and Bumble." I explained. "Wow. You must hate your dad." She said. "All I hate now is a dead soul, and I am relieved that he is no longer part of this world." I said. Silence. "Well, any other better memories of your past life?" Vortex asked. "Well, I was banished from my hometown, and traveled the lands of where to find somepony that could end my father, but first, I needed to attend a school. I found one in Manehattan, but it didn't end well." I said. "What happened?" She asked, obviously intrigued. "Well, I was bullied for my different ways. For example..." Flashback Time! I walked out of the school building, for it was the end of the day. I don't think I could take this anymore. Even the teachers hate me for who I am. "Hey, dragon butt!" I turned to see three of the usual idiots that pick on me every day. "Please, spare me pain of listening to the worst name ever thought up, especially if it is used to resemble me." I replied. He frowned. "You're a freak, you know that?" He added. I smirked. "Oh, I've been completely aware of that, but have you been aware of the fact that you are the only living creature in the entire universe that has a brain the size of a molecule? I think you deserve a medal." I commented. "Well, you deserve a pounding to the face!" He growled, and gestured to his friends, who stepped up. "Sorry, but I have places to go, things to do. I have no business with you." I said, backing away slowly. "What? Are you pussying out?" He asked. "No. In fact, I believe 'pussying out' would be the wrong term for this situation." I defended. "Doesn't matter what the situation is, it only matters if you lose." He said. "With the brains you have, I wouldn't need to lift a hoof." I remarked. He growled, and put his hoof up. He thrusted it towards my face, knocking me head sideways. I puched him right back, harder than he did. "You're dead!" One of his friends said, and shot his hoof towards my face. I dodged it easily, and slammed my hoof into his gut. The one behind me, however, pinned me to the ground and flipped me over. The leader got up and started laughing. The other one lifted me up, and the two held me in front of the leader. He started punching me repeatedly in the face, laughing every time his hoof connected. "Get. Out. Of. My. FACE!" I yelled between punches. Suddenly, heat trailed up through my esophagus, and it burned. A lot. Soon enough, it reached my mouth, and I spat out fire. It torched the bully in front of me, and he looked as surprised as I was, until he started burning. He wasn't on fire, however, the fire burned him quite a bit. He was singed, and he fell back on the ground. His friends let go of me and backed away, going over towards their leader. They all had a look of shock in their faces, and one of them finally spoke up, "W-what are you?" He asked. My surprise changed back to my normal self, as these things don't last long. "Like you said, a freak that deserves a pounding to the face." They got up and ran off in terror. I sighed, and flew off, knowing that I would be kicked out of the school anyways. That was the first time I learned to breath fire, and I had fully developed. Developed into the monster that reflects my father. Flashback Time over. When I explained it to Vortex, she was almost shocked. "You..." She started. "Yes yes, I know. I lived a terrible life of pain and misery." I looked down. "No! You can breath fire!" She said. I facehoofed. "That is so cool! Well, of course you can breath fire, why wouldn't you breath fire? All dragons breath fire! I mean, come on!" She went on. "Do the rest of your friends have powers like that?" She asked. "Too late, we're here." I said, and she saw the house that was in view. I dragged Stargazer inside and dropped him on the sofa. His sister, Starlight, walked out of her room and saw me. "What happened!? Is Stargazer okay?" She asked. "He's fine, just make sure he goes to bed when he wakes up." I said. "I don't think that will be necessary." She said, and we heard Stargazer's loud snores quickly follow. "I can never sleep like this." she sighed. "Well, good night." I said, and walked out of the door with Vortex. "Hey, since you traveled the land and all, do you have a place to stay?" Vortex asked. "No, but out of some strange chance, you probably have a spare room in your-" "I have a spare room in my house!" She sounded a bit... excited. "Well, okay. Shall we fly there?" I asked. She nodded. We flew over to her house, which of course would be too boring to type. Yes, this is the author talking. I am very tired right now, so there's that. Back to the story. I walked inside her house, which was filled with chemicals, supplies, and appliances. "This is the room right here. Make yourself at home!" She said. It had a bed, a desk, and a bookshelf loaded with books. "Thanks. Good night." I said. "Good night!" She replied, and left the room. I climbed into the bed, and turned the lights off, drifting to sleep with many of my unforgiving memories. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Also, Phionix and Rendan, your characters will be added soon, but it might take a while.
