Part II: Party Planner

Pacing back and forth on the ground floor of her home, Twilight Sparkle wandered aimlessly in a circle nervously. Spikes looked at her with a troubling look. “Twilight, what’s wrong?”

“Oh nothing Spike. It’s just that I have a huge responsibility in holding a celebration in a few days for the ponies in Ponyville. This, being the first time I’ll be holding an important formal celebration as a princess, I have to make sure everything turns out okay! If things don’t go right, every pony will hate me for ruining an important occasion, my friends will abandon me, ponies will stop believing in me as a princess, I’ll have that day to remember for the rest of my life, and –“

“Twilight, stop! Calm down now. I think you are just overreacting a bit. Don’t worry, this celebration will be fine because you have friends like me who will help you out! I am your faithful assistance, Twilight!” Spike remarked.

Taking a deep breath, Twilight refreshed herself, but still felt the pressure of having all these responsibilities as a princess.

“Thanks Spike.” Twilight said, giving him a friendly hug. “Don’t know what I’d do without you. But I’m still feeling a bit nervous of holding this very, VERY important celebration.”

“Speaking of this celebration, what celebration are you exactly holding?” asked Spike. Twilight giggles and hands out a book about the history of Ponyville to Spike.

“Oh, it's a 100 year anniversary for Ponyville . Okay, Twilight. How should we make the celebration?” Spike inquired.

“Hmmm, we need to make this party the best for all ponies to enjoy. Spike, we’re gonna need some help planning and preparing this. Can you gather all my friends please?” Twilight politely asked.

“You got it!” Spike said, quickly leaving to gather the Mane Five.

The following week later, the party preparations had all been finished. Today was the day where ponies in Ponyville would be celebrating the day their great town had been founded. Every pony seemed excited for the celebration to start, but there stood Twilight, visibly nervous about something, pacing back and forth.

Twilight’s friends noticed Twilight’s strange behavior, concerned what was wrong.

“Twilight, darling. What’s wrong?” Rarity asked.

Twilight was still pacing back and forth, not even hearing her friends trying to ask her something.

“TWILIGHT!” All her friends yelled for her attention.

Twilight shrieked. “AH.” She stared at her friends, trying to remove the concerned look on her face. “Sorry, what did you ponies ask?”

“Look Twilight. It’s pretty easy to tell that there’s something bothering you. What is it?” Rainbow Dash worried.

“Look, I know the decorations look great and all. I-I just hope the Ponyville folks all like it as much as we do and everything turns out okay.. This celebration.. means the world to them!”

“Lighten up Twilight! This party looks great. And who knows party more than I do! I love parties! Parties are fun!” Pinkie Pie chuckled.

Twilight then smiled at her friends, relieving a deep breath of stress. “Thanks. I’m grateful to have you ponies as my bestest of friends.”

The Mane Six then rejoiced in a hug. “We’re grateful too.” Inquired Rarity.
