Rainbowdash yawned as the wind blew through her mane. “Time to get to some practice” she said. “Today is the day,” she thought. Today is the day that I finally do a loop-to-loop, barrel roll, triple backflip, nosedive and then finish with the Sonic Rainboom. "I'll call it the Loop-to-Loop of colors" Rainbow Dash thought proudly. “Rainbow Dash!!” Twilight called, “ I have been looking for you all morning! Get off that cloud it’s time for practice.”
“Ugh! I don’t want to practice today lets do it tomorrow.” complained Rainbow Dash
“Oh no you don't rainbow. You're not getting out of flying practice that easy! You promised that we could practice today. Plus I had to do the whole report on what to do and what not to do for flying.” exclaimed Twilight
“You assigned that homework to read yourself. For yourself and while I told you we had to practice, you insisted/threatened me! We could've practiced all day yesterday, but you were doing homework. Besides didn’t say today I said tomorrow.” insisted Rainbow Dash
“Well no more excuses or threats. We are doing it today.” Twilight persisted, “I have to practice before Princess Celestia comes next month!”
“Fine.” Rainbow Dash grumbled. Then the two ponies (Rainbow Dash trudging and Twilight galloping/skipping) they hurried towards the meadow. After hours of practice, Twilight still fell on her hide.
“Everypony is going to laugh at me!” cried Twilight
“Yah they will. On the brightside, your a princess so you can put them in jail." Rainbow pointed out
"Firstly, I WILL NOT ABUSE MY POWER!!! That would be wrong and as a princess I protect my people not harm them. Secondly, since when are you an optimist?" Twilight said in surprise and anger
"Since five minutes ago. Before your very long and boring lecture!" Rainbow smirked
"It wasn't that long and don't exagerate it is lying." Twilight said with invisible steam pouring out of your ears
"What are you gonna tell my mommy?" Rainbow taunted
"GRRRR!" Twilight's face was redder than scarlet
"Well. Since your being rude and I didn't want to do this anyway… see you!” Rainbow tried to speed off..
“Oh no you don’t!” grunted Twilight as she jumped on Rainbow Dash’s back.
“Quit being a burden! You’re messing up my flight patterns.” Rainbow Dash screamed.
“Well, I wouldn’t have to if you just go down to the ground.” Twilight pointed out.
“Sorry but I can’t see!” Rainbow Dash complained as Twilight was covering Rainbow Dash’s eyes. Just then a tree branch hit Twilight in the muzzle and she plummeted to the ground. Bouncing off of trees, blacked out Twilight couldn’t use her magic, hear her screaming friend, nor see the soft pile of moss and lilies that she landed on. When Twilight awoke see saw a beautiful strange alacorn mare wearing a tiara.
"I am dreaming." Twilight thought drifting back to sleep
"Hi" the pretty mare greeted
“Aahhh!” Twilight screamed sitting straight up out of the flowers.
“Aahhh!” The Alicorn screamed back.
“WHO IN THE HOOF ARE YOU?!” Twilight cried freaked out.
“I should ask you the same thing,” said the now calm mare
Taking a deep breath Twilight said, “I am Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria.” The mare looked sad and just frowned.
“And you are?” Twilight asked
“Lily… Princess Lily of Mareatopia.” The mare replied teary eyed.
“You mean the lost Princess Lily out of the old mares tales?” Twilight
“I am no mares tale!” Princess Lily said offended
“But…. What… you are her?” Twilight said appalled
“If you mean the mare who lost her whole family after being kidnapped. Yep. That’s me.” Princess Lily said in a bland/bitter way. Twilight collapsed on the flowers.
"You have got to stop doing that!" Princess Lily cried in worry
"Sorry, its just. OMC! You are my most favorite pony from the stories!" Twilight giggled jumping up and down
" As long as your in my grove, no say Oh My Celestia! Got it?" Lily threatened
"Sorry, its just...how did you stay alive?!?!" Twilight asked trying to calm herself
"Magic from Nightmare Moon." Lily said irritably
"Oh yah the legend." Twilight facehoofed
The Legend of The Lost Princess
One upon a full moon, Princess Celestia's sister Nightmare Moon was on a rampage. The Evil Princess went over to a small town in Equestria called Mareatopia and kidnapped a young princess. Before leaving, she burned the whole village to the ground, killing everpony. Arriving a a forest, Nightmare Moon dropped the filly in a grove of flowers with a protection spell over the grove. Nightmare Moon put bondage rings on the filly's legs that only one from the prophecy could remove the rings and free the young Princess. Princess Celestia heard of the village's dispair and mourned the death of the young Princess. Not knowing that the Princess Lily was alive and well living off of the land.
"Why didn't I bounce off the protection spell?" Twilight just realized
"It broke when Nightmare Moon was distroyed." Lily said frowning
"Why didn't you leave then?" Twilight asked agravated
"The bonds haven't been broken. I am still stuck here." Lily wailed bursting into tears
"Oh." Twilight said leaving a big silence except for the wailing of Lily.
"I can help you!" Twilight exclaimed in revelation
"How?" Lily questioned stifling her sobs
"I will go back to Ponyville and study the prophecy!" Twilight said trying to stand up but collasped in a heap.
"Don't move! Your injuries may be worse than I thought." Lily said in a rush as Twilight black out. Twilight just kept hearing "Don't move!" echoing in her head as she passed out with pain.
