Fluttershy tucked her wings into their comfortable spot and slid down the bark of her favorite tree, it's leaves shading her from the hot summer Sun. A breeze gently ruffled her mane, causing her to relax after long day of working with animals.
Some leaves fell down, even though it wasn't too close to fall. And the weather was just perfect. Well, at least for Fluttershy, considering that even though it was hot, her favorite tree cooled her temperature down.
Fluttershy loved this tree. It was right under Rainbow Dash's cloud home, shaded her in the summer, and most importantly, Dash had asked Fluttershy to be her special some pony right under the leaves of it. The tree had brought back many memories of that day when she lay on the bark and folded her wings.
It might have even been Rainbow's favorite tree too, as she sleeper in the branches often. In fact, right now, Fluttershy could hear her mare friend's soft snores above her.
Sure would be fun to wake her up, and that's exactly what Flutters was gonna do. So she flew up to where Dash was laying, and tapped her a few times on the shoulder.
Rainbow Dash flew up and out of the canopy of leaves, surprised by Fluttershy's sudden wake up. Fluttershy fluttered up to where Dash was looking around frantically. She giggled, and apologized. Rainbow chuckled to see that she had did it.
They went around for a small flight, afterwards, and slept under the canopy of leaves in both of their favorite tree.
