Popple sat on his giant worm, crushing everything in sight. "Now, prepare to die, ya useless palookas!" Popple yelled, his giant worm then tried to blow fire at the group, but Twilight used her magic to create a force field around them.
"M-Mario...let's get out of here!" Luigi exclaimed, sounding terrified.
"NO! I've gotta fight Popple!" Mario yelled back. Mario's face then shifted to looking nervous."...Twilight, turn me giant again!"
"B-But, I haven't studied the spell very well, I..."
"JUST DO IT!!!"
"But you could die!"
"It's a risk I'm willing to take, now just do it!"
Twilight wasn't sure, but she decided to trust Mario. Popple's worm then ran out of energy an ceased the flames. "QUIT BEIN' USELESS, YA STUPID WORM!" Popple then kicked the worm. and it charged. the group realized there was no way to escape, right before the worm crushed them, something stopped it!
"M-Mario? YOU'RE HUGE!" Luigi exclaimed in pure excitement.
Mario then looked at the group, and nodded, before charging at Popple. (Click here ...again!)
Mario then ran twords Popple, but the worm shifted out of the way before Mario hit them, crushing a house in the process. "Wha...WHAT?! YA GOT HUGE?!" Popple shouted.
"Popple, give me the orb or I'll have to attack!"
"No way, ya crazy palooka...it's mine!"
"What do you want with it anyway?!"
"It's shiny...I could sell this for a fortune!"
"You asked for it..." Mario mumbled, right before jumping. he landed on the worm right behind Popple, causing it to fall to the ground. it then got back up and shot a ball of flame at Mario, but he got his hammer out and countered the flames, shooting them back at the worm.
"AH HOT HOT HOT!" Popple yelled as the flames engulfed the worm. it then got onto the ground, and slithered twords Mario like a snake, and hit him in the foot.
"WOAH!"
Mario yelled as he fell to the ground. The worm then tried to eat his foot, but he used his foot to smash it against the ground. Popple then fell off, flew through the air, and landed in front of the library. "Ow...that fricken' hurt..." Popple then looked back and saw the rest of the group looking at him...angry..."Uh, Hi...heh heh..." Twilight then grabbed him with her magic.
Meanwhile Mario continued to fight the worm, he got back up on his feet, and smacked the worm with his hammer. the worm then tried to bight Mario again, but he punched him to the ground, and jumped on him. causing it to shrink back to normal size, Luigi then crushed it. the spell then wore off, causing Mario to shrink back to normal size. (you can turn the music off now.)
Twilight had Popple held in her magic grip, and Mario walked up to him. "Heh heh...well, it's funny but..." Popple said scratching the back of his head.
"Popple...give me the sphere!" Mario said, with seriousness in his voice as he extended his hand.
Popple then looked around, before exhaling "Fine...you win..." he handed the orb to Mario "JUST LEAVE ME BE YOU CRAZY MUGS!" Twilight then released him, and he went running for the hills.
"I wonder how he got here anyway..." Luigi said, scratching his head.
"I think Fawful transported him here so he'd get in our way!" Mario exclaimed.
"Evidently it worked, either way...let's go save your world!" Twilight said.
the group then walked into the library, and Twilight arranged the orbs into a star shape. standing in the middle she lowered her head and used magic, the orbs lit up and started to sparkle. "Ohh...that's so beautiful!" Rarity exclaimed. they then lifted into the air, and a beam of light came from them and opened a portal to the mushroom kingdom.
"It worked!" Starlow exclaimed.
"Yeah...piece of...cake..." Twilight said completely exhausted.
"Let's go in!" Luigi said! Luigi Starlow and Dreambert went into the portal, and as Mario stepped in he looked at the group "thank you all, and bye..."
"What, you thought we where leaving Y'all?!" Applejack said.
"Wait...you're coming?"
"We promised we'd be in this to the end, darling...and that's what we intend to do!" Rarity said.
"Thank you..." Mario said. "Let's go!"
they all jumped into the portal besides for twilight, "Are you coming, Spike?" Twilight asked, just before flying in.
"Oh...I...Didn't know..." Spike then jumped up and ran into the portal...
The Mushroom kingdom
As Mario lied on the ground of the castle, not sure what had happened...wait, what did happen? all he remembers is...well nothing, nothing at all. as the groggy Mario opened his eyes...he saw two black eyes, starring into his.
"AHH!" Mario screamed.
"He's awake!" It appears the eyes belonged to...Corpral Paraplonk.
"Oh...lord Bowser will be so pleased that we finally caught Mario!" Private Goomp said.
"We'll finally get to sit in those head honcho chairs!" Paraplonk said.
"Yeah, and get a promotion!" Sergeant guy said.
"Wait...you jokers again?!" Mario asked.
"Yep, lord Bowser's personal guard...the elite trio!" Paraplonk said.
they where in a cage, near the top of Bowser's castle but the other where nowhere in sight. "Hey, where are my freinds?"
"Oh, you mean Luigi Starlow and Dreambert? they're in separate cages somewhere else..." Private said, rolling his eyes.
"what about the ponies?" Mario asked.
"Wha...Ponies?" Sergeant guy replied "What ponies?"
"You mean they weren't with me?"
"Either that or you need to lay off the mushrooms!" Private said. causing the others to laugh.
"Look this is serious! Fawful's back, let us go!"
"Oh, that loon? yeah right!" Private said.
"Bowser told us he exploded!" Sergeant said.
"Well he managed!" Mario said.
"MARIO!!!" he heard the deep voice come from the entrance, and standing there was Bowser...
