Hoedown

Fluttershy watched the other ponies dance and play in the middle of Ponyville, where the Apple family held the Hoedown each year. This year's was good, but she had to admit last year's was a little better. Just because she wasn't alone, but this year she was.
It all looked fun. Square dancing, small games for the fillies, wonderful food to eat, and the music was very nice. Fluttershy usually could do all of the activities, and was it fun! Like after a bad day you do your favorite thing to just calm you down and make you have a very great time. But, like stated before, no one came with her, and she only had fun with someone else.
Fluttershy tipped her pink mane over her face to hide her small disappointment. She had asked Applejack to come with her, but she was too busy with the hoedown, of course. She asked Twilight, but she was studying for a very big project. Obviously Rarity wasn't going, and Pinkie Pie had to bake half of the treats eaten at the event. And last of all, Fluttershy was too shy to ask Rainbow Dash, even if she was dating her. The fast Pegasus was always practicing or sleeping.
Thankfully, she was here at the rodeo, and boy how much Fluttershy was urging to talk to her! She inched closer to where she was hanging out by the food table every once in a while, but that didn't help. The event was almost over, and the timid Pegasus wanted to make the best of it at the hoedown!
She flew over to where Rainbow was eating an apple fritter at a point where Rarity would be yelling. "Umm, hi, Rainbow Dash! I-I just wanted to say umm..."
Fluttershy started to blush until Dash walked over and put her wing around Flutters. "You wanna dance? I know. Now, if you want to, let's get on the dance floor now or else this BORING event will end."
Dash blushed slightly before getting out on the dance floor, pulling Fluttershy with her and dancing it out. "Lets go for a flight together later, ok?"
And Fluttershy nodded while dancing.
