Transformers: Darkness of Equestria

Chapter 1: Attack

Location: Golden Oak Library, Ponyville, Equestria

"It's 5:30! Shops closed!" Twilight announced to everypony who was still in the library. Everypony started to leave except for a couple of ponies who were checking out some books. The last customer was a familiar orange colt, his blue mane gelled back. She smiled at the customer and greeted him.

"Hey Flash, you on break?"

Smiling back he answered, "Yeah I always get the 7th off unless its urgent. Then I get a week long vacation."

"You looking for anything in particular or just came here to visit?"

"Both, actually... do you have the...um...well..."

"Yes?" Twilight thought it was weird that he was delaying in telling her the title of a book.

But she was caught off guard by what he said next.

"Do you have the Transformers Encyclopedia series?"

Twilight stood there for a moment, not expecting Flash to want to read those documentaries telling the events from five years ago. It also had a bio of every Autobot and Decepticon they knew, and even a few they did not know personally. For example, this bot named Prowl, who was spoken about amongst other Autobots, who was a prick and shares Jazz's place as Optimus Prime's second in command. That's all anypony knew about him.

Optimus the Autobot she missed most...

No, now is not the time to think about him, Twilight thought, and snapped back to reality.

"Yes we do. It's in the back. Spike!" Her assistant dashed downstairs, grabbed a ladder, and went to go find the books.

"So, Flash, I'm going to a party Pinkie Pie invited me to. Do you want to come and say hi to everyone?" Twilight asked, blushing.

Flash's smiled vanished and said, "Kinda wish I could but I have to go back to work at six and it takes 20 minutes to get to my class. Sorry."

Twilight raised an eyebrow. She thought Flash already graduated guard school three years ago.

"I thought you said you already graduated. Why are you going to school still?"

Suddenly, Flash realized he made it sound like he failed, and that he made Twilight upset, so he gave his explanation.

"Yeah, I already passed and became a guard but I'm taking extra classes so I can become a guard at the Canterlot Castle instead of Crystal Castle, and one of the things that is required to know is how to deal with an alien attack. So far, the only attacks that have happened are the two times the Transformers were here, so...uh, yeah. Sorry if I made you upset or anything like that. All the other libraries had all of the copies sold out, so this was the only place left I could get them."

Twilight then realized that Flash really was sorry, but before she could talk to him any more, Spike ran up to her holding two big books.

"Thank you Spike" the little purple dragon nodded, ran upstairs, and jumped out the window.

"Guess he still doesn't like me," Flash said, disappointed that Spike was still hostile towards him.

Twilight nodded and also said "Yup, and he still likes to call you 'Brad the Waifu Stealer'."

"Twilight, I'm pretty sure I have never taken a....Waifu, or whatever that is." Flash looked annoyed now.

"It's a type of slang for wife."

"Oh...alright then."

"Um...okay so that's Transformers: Fall of Equestria and Equestria's Darkest Hour. Due date is in two weeks," Twilight said, giving him the books.

"Thanks. I have to go now. Don't want to be late," he flashed a smile and left the library, leaving Twilight alone so she could finally close the library and start to get ready for Pinkie Pie's party. Then Spike came downstairs.

"Is he gone?" Spike questioned.

Twilight just gave him a disappointed look "Spike, you should have gotten over this by now."

"I don't like him at all," Spike said while he avoided eye contact.

"Look, Spike, we aren't in a relationship or anything, okay? So let's just go to Pinkie Pie's party," Twilight said, trying to make Spike
understand.

"Not yet," Spike muttered under his breath as they left the library to go over to Pinkie Pie's house where she and the rest of her best friends were.

On their way they saw somepony running around and panicking while shouting: "Has anypony seen Twilight Sparkle anywhere?"

Twilight and Spike went to go see what was wrong when the pony crashed into them. After Twilight recovered, she turned to the pony, and recognized as Vinyl Scratch, more commonly known as DJ Pon-3.

They walked up to the still dazed pony. "Hey, are you alright?" Twilight asked the mare.

They looked at each other for a moment before Vinyl's eyes widened, and she started panicking. She tried to talk to her but she was too scared to speak. Twilight put her hoof on Vinyl's shoulder and calmly spoke to her.

"Okay, just calm down take a deep breath. Hold it for five seconds and breathe out. Tell me what happened."

Vinyl did exactly what Twilight told her to do. She told her story of how her radios from the Autobot Blaster picked up another Autobot's distress signal, and how he was cut off, and that she was to pass a message from him to Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight listened to Vinyl and was both shocked and frightened. Could Equestria be once again involved with the Autobot and Decpticon war for a third time? After a few moments of taking all the news in, she asked Vinyl if there was anything else. Vinyl nodded and told her the last part of the message.

"Tailgate, the Autobot, said to wait for someone. I think he meant an autobot, but he could barely say his name. By the time I lost contact with him, all I heard was "Rodi". But at first, he mistook me as an Autobot and asked to either alert a Sentinel Prime or a
Rodimus Prime. So most likely he was trying to say Rodimus."

Twilight thought about what Vinyl had said. She had never heard the name, but it felt familiar.

"No it can't have to do anything with..."

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

_________________________________________
location: Ponyville, Equestria

Stepping out of a portal similar to a space bridge (except with it being red and blazing, it looked more like a gate to Hell) was a giant metal being, one that Equestria has not seen for five years.

The being was powerful, tall, and evil looking with its black armor with a long pipe on each shoulder, red glowing lights, and eyes that burned with a menacing dark crimson glow.

His name was Nemesis Prime, leader of a new, small, but powerful group of Decepticons. He was not loyal to Galvatron, the new leader of the Decepticon empire, but instead, he and his followers believed that they were the only remaining Decepticons left to destroy the Autobots. Anyone else was a disgrace.

Following him out of the portal was a small group of Decepticons, the D.M.P.T, one of the first to join Nemesis Prime's cause. They consisted of Bombshock, the leader, Tracer, the second in command, Dropshot, the demo specialist, and Growl, the team sniper. Then the rest of the strike team came out; the Powermasters and Headmasters.

The Powermasters, Dreadwind and Darkwing, were two of the four founding members of this group along with Nemesis Prime himself.

They used a rare technology called Energon Power Cores which gave them a tremendous power boost. In the beginning, there were only eight of them. Now there are only five left, but only four of them are on Nemesis's side. They also have the power to combine in jet mode to become Darkwind, a powerful jet that, combined with the two Powermaster's power cores, are extremely dangerous. They are two of his three most trusted lieutenants.

The Headmasters, Fangry and Weirdwolf, on the other hand, are the newest members on Nemesis's team. They are the first of a prototype technology that allows any minicon to become the head of a bigger, stronger robot that can feel no pain. Their biggest flaw, however, is the fact that their heads are a major weakness.

Nemesis Prime looked at each one of them and nodded. He transformed his arm into a pathblaster, aimed at a building and fired, completely destroying the structure. Watching the remains burn, while ponies ran screaming, terrified at the group of Decepticons, he raised his hand and gave a signal.

"DECEPTICONS ATTACK!"

"Don't call me an Autobot or I'll take your face!"

Once a member of an elite Autobot military unit, Bombshock committed an act of betrayal that attracted the attention of the Decepticons. Despite this he still has something most Decepticons don't have anymore honor and he respects the enemy and some Autobots still think that he can can one day rejoin them even up to this day.
He leads the Military Patrol well, and he doesn't seem to mind that all three of his teammates are plotting against him. They want a fight, and fighting's all he's good at. And when he gets into the heat of battle, even the destruction of his enemies won't stop him. Sometimes, he won't stop fighting until his bombs have blown most of himself apart.
