Untameable and stupid

Here is the next chapter guys read it and tell me what you think about the story so far ok? oh and dont expect me to update too soon school is a drag after all.

"Just relax Natarou levitation is the most basic of spells it doesn't even need an incantation, just relax and concentrate on moving the rock" came the voice of the elder unicorn as he stared at the concentrated dark grey stallion in front of him.

Naruto was trying hard to focus on moving the rock in front of him his horn ablaze in a golden-orange glow while small sparks flew from it the stone in front of it was slowly but surely being covered in the same glow as Naruto's magic interacted with it beads of sweat fell from his forehead as he focused really hard on moving it.

A bit after the glow covered the whole rock it began to shake slightly to the attention of the elder unicorn but he just shook his head as mere moments afterwards the rock blew up covering the grass in dust and pebbles.

"I do try but its hard to concentrate, magic is rather hard to control it keeps swirling around the rock when I will it to push forward" Naruto sighed and wiped his brow before moving onto a different rock about the same size.

"Magic is different for everyone some don't have the power to levitate something heavier than their hooves can carry and others like me can levitate a bunch of objects at the same time but it isn't an strenuous labor to do so, just relax and let your magic guide you, don't try to fight it it is yours its like moving a stream, you don't fight the current you guide it to where you want it to be" lectured Glyph as he patted Naruto in the back.

Naruto nodded and began focusing on the next rock he wasn't sure how to guide his magic, but he would try, after covering the rock with his glow, he stopped his attempt, he was no longer trying to force the flow into what he wanted he was trying to feel the flow, honestly it was an empowering feeling magic flowed with the strength of a furious torrent crashing everything under its path, yet it moved smoothly, delicately almost like a silk string in the breeze, it felt comfortably warm like standing next to a fireplace in a cold night, but much like a mountain it wouldn't budge no matter how hard he pushed and it branched out infinitely and fast as lightning.

Naruto felt it much like chakra yet completely different, using chakra was natural for him, a power from within himself that he controlled at will as an extension of himself, but magic was different, fundamentally the same, it came from him, and was an extension of himself, his magic and his alone, but for some reason it behaved like a separate entity living inside of him, it was his but it wasn't at the same time, confusing the hell out of Naruto, he took an opportunity to enter his mind scape taking into account that time flowed slower there.

Once Naruto opened his metaphorical eyes he was standing in the same meadow where Kurama was currently taking a bath in the lake Naruto trotted closer to the lake and signaled Kurama of his arrival "Yo Kurama how you doing you overgrown furcoat" Naruto said with a smile.

Kurama rolled his eyes at the equine Jinchuuriki "Hey yourself magical unicorn princess" Kurama said while smirking much to Naruto's ire "having trouble with your magic?" he correctly guessed and lowered his head to Naruto's reduced height.

"Yeah, I keep feeling the answer is right there, but then it annoyingly eludes me" he said while swirling his hoof in the air, then he began looking at Kurama "hey is it me or are you going bald?" he said much to Kurama's irritation.

After a heavy sigh Kurama said "yes my fur is falling for some reason all this itchiness along with my fur falling off? I honestly think I might be molting" the giant fox said

"Really? but I thought you were a being of pure chakra and you didn't need to molt your fur, much less eat and drink" Naruto said surprised.

"What else could it be? maybe this world's funny rules have to affect us someway, maybe it makes me slightly more realistic, I mean your body changed into a unicorn why not make me an actual fox, I just hope I dont loose my tails" Kurama said while looking back at his precious tails noticing a little bald spot in one of them.

Naruto nodded and then began to think of something "wait... you're right! this world changed me into a pony! ponies here don't have chakra! I don't see pegasus or earth ponies around throwing jutsus like nothing! if this world has magic instead does it not make sense that this world's equivalent of chakra is magic?" Naruto asked while looking at Kurama

"Dont ask me, I've no idea but it does kind of make sense" came the reply of Kurama which made Naruto smile and he waved goodbye to Kurama while disappearing from his mind scape, Kurama shrugged and proceeded to rub the cool water on the itchy parts of his skin, never noticing a bit of the baldness behind his head had some black spikes protruding from it.

Back in the real world Naruto opened his eyes and began feeling the flow of magic once again with a smile on his face, he was treating magic the wrong way it wasn't an energy that he could command like chakra, chakra was chakra because Naruto forced his spiritual and physical energy to combine and then use it, sure it was his but it wasn't naturally created from his being it was converted subconsciously, Naruto then began feeling the flow of magic and truly tried to comprehend it, it wasn't chakra it was different yet the same, it came from his mind his focus, his concentration, it was his very mental energy that was there, much like the rikudou sennin used the mental spiritual and physical part of his energy to create jutsus, Naruto had to use his mental and spiritual energy to do the same.

Magic was his spirit manifesting that's why it swirled so much and was untameable, it was his very spirit so he couldn't force it to do something much like no one could force him to do something he didn't want to do, he was his magic it wasn't his it was him!.

Naruto retreated the magic he forced from his body the glow fading from the stone, then once he felt his magic inside him again he smiled and focused on actually moving the stone himself but without moving like an extra limb, his very will moving the rock like he willed his body to do it, if the magic was him then he had the strength he had never backed down from a challenge and he was going to move that stone himself, not using chakra or another force to do his bidding, his very spirit focusing on doing something simple by himself, moving the stone.

And boy did it move, hell that's saying he kind of liked ramen, the stone flew away thrown by an incredible force, and slammed on the side of the hill burying it deep within the earth, a misty smoke coming off his horn Naruto blew on it to disperse it looking like a complete bad ass (in his own mind).

"My stars would you look at that! quite the throw I must admit" came the voice of a smiling Glyph who began clapping with his hooves "brilliant! you found how to use your magic" he said as he stopped and gave Naruto a pat on his back "well done indeed Naratu" he said making Naruto's eyes roll but otherwise smile.

"Congratulations brat you found how to use your magic" came the mental voice of his fox tenant.

"It was easy once I understood its not just an energy inside me its an extension of my own spirit, untameable and dedicated just like me" Naruto said smugly to his old friend.

"Yeah untameable and stupid just like you" Kurama laughed and wiped a tear from his eyes as Naruto fumed.

"Shut up you bald rabbit" said Naruto to his friend making a mental glaring competition that lasted for a bit before exchanging more mental insults, then Naruto's string of thoughts were interrupted by Glyph clearing his throat.

"While it was impressive the force of the throw now we must practice moving it delicately, the floating spell or telekinesis is the most basic one remember" he chastised Naruto as he used his own magic to lift several rocks around them a few even bigger than a pony.

Naruto nodded and once again began concentrating, not in controlling the magic but himself, the response was much quicker than before as a golden orange glow surrounded the stone and levitated it a few feet above the ground with a mental push the rock moved slightly as Naruto tested the necessary amount of mental force to move the object at different speeds once he felt he found the correct amount he used it and the rock began floating to his will in front of them.

"Good you got the hang of it it seems" said Glyph while looking at Naruto moving the rock around him with marvel in his eyes, he chuckled and the said "Alright now that you unlocked your magic you have to make your own path from here onwards but feel free to come around and I'll help you with any magical question you have" he finished as he handled Naruto a bottle with a purple liquid "Drink that down before sleeping it will help restore your magic faster".

Naruto nodded flashed him his large smile "thanks Jiji, you've helped me a lot, how can I ever repay you" he said and the old pony smiled in return.

"It was fun helping a youngster understand magic, my talent is such that I hardly talk about these things" he said.

"By the way what does your cutie mark means Glyph-san? I assumed it was about books but you know so much about magic" Naruto asked him as he cranked his neck.

"Very simple it is the study of magic itself, I know about almost all kinds of magic, even if I cant cast most of them, I love to know about it, alchemy is one of the few branches of magic I can freely do, which is why I have my lab in there, he said pointing to his house, by the way Naturo, you should go back before nightfall, dangerous things lurk in the dark in this area" Glyph said while looking around.

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked out of curiosity.

"We are close to the mountains, dangerous creatures dwell in the mountain skirts, and even more dangerous creatures roam the mountains themselves, there are trolls and manticores, mandrakes and if you're lucky you'll never run into a dragon or a basilisk since they rarely leave the mountains, but still its dangerous" he said "My house and the land around it has magic runes that act as monster repellent, but the road to the city is unprotected so you best leave before light fades".

Naruto wanted to know about all those creatures he had mentioned, other than the dragon all were new to him but he saved it for another time, Naruto thanked him and left down the road happy that at least he was more versen in the world he was now stuck up in for good, now he needed to think what he was going to do now.

On one hand he could always go to coltaigne and mingle with his fellow unicorns tough it seemed a bit odd for him that ponies distrusted each other because of their race, he did come from a land where there was no racial disputes at all, therefore he would probably settle somewhere in a small town where all races lived together in a less segmented way.

After coming back from his line of toughts Naruto noticed he was almost to the gates and the sky was darkening quickly, he got closer and he noticed someone other than the pegasus guards in the gate.

He noticed the hotels matron on the gates with a concerned look on her face, and quickened his gallop.
