Confusing Love

New Friends

Rainbow Dash awoke the next sunny morning and she quickly got ready. She wanted to stretch out and maybe do a few tricks to get ready for the Wonderbolts one day. She quickly put on a light blue tank top with her rainbow cutie mark on the bottom left, and blue jean shorts that stopped mid-thigh. She put on her usual blue sneakers and white short socks and combed her short rainbow colored hair.

As she got ready for the day, she remembered yesterday's encounter with that girl, Musa was her name....wasn't it? She couldn't remember exactly as she went to the small kitchen and grabbed a piece of toast. What to do... she thought, taking a step outside and eating her toast. Her eyes widened as a gasp left her mouth, almost dropping her piece of toast.

There she was! The pale girl with long wavy silver, light purple highlighted hair! Today she was wearing a light grey t-shirt that had an upside down treble clef next to a base clef, making a heart, on the bottom left and blue jean shorts. She had short white socks under her light purple and white sneakers. "Hey!" Rainbow Dash called, waving to her as she walked over to her.

Musa looked to her with her silver, with a tint of purple, eyes and gave her a kind smile. "Hi there! Rainbow Dash...was it?" she replied.

"Yep! That's me!" Rainbow Dash reassured. "Musa, right?"

"Correct! Nice to see you again!" Musa exclaimed.

"Yeah! So..." Rainbow Dash stated, "What'cha doing?"

"I'm just walking around. I usually have a small walk, but today I decided to go further. It looks like it was smart of me...since I got to meet you again." Musa smiled.

"Yeah...I wasn't really expecting you to come around my house...Want to come in?" Rainbow Dash asked, pointing her thumb towards her sky blue house which had a light grey roof, two windows in the front and a door.

"I would love to." Musa accepted and the two walked inside Rainbow Dash's house. Once inside, Musa left out a gasp. "Whoa Rainbow Dash! This is an amazing place you have." Musa said, looking all around the house.

It was small, but the perfect house. The kitchen was on the right side of the house, with a refrigerator, stove, oven, sink and counter. A small red wooden table was set perfectly center of the kitchen, with four padded folding chairs around it. There was a sliding door to the small open back yard with a small picnic table and chair on the left side of the yard. There was a set of stairs to the far left corner and a small living room with a tv and blue couch also to the right.

"Of course it is! I'm awesome." Rainbow Dash replied, giving Musa a smirk. "Want to see my room?" she then asked.

Musa smiled kindly. "Sure! I'd love to!" she chirped and the two traveled upstairs. There were four doors, and they entered the first one to the right. Musa left out a small gasp at all the posters of the Wonderbolts athletic team. Her bed was neatly made with blue covers and her cutie mark at the far bottom left corner, and her sky blue pillow matched the same pattern. She had a small desk across from the bed, to the right of the window, and a mirror attached to a dresser, which was to the left. "You must really like the Wonderbolts." Musa assumed.

"Like them?" Rainbow Dash gasped. "I don't just like them. I love them!" she exclaimed. "They are so awesome! So awesome I want to join them one day."

Musa giggled. "I hope you achieve your goal Rainbow." she then said, catching herself say one part of Rainbow Dash's name.

Before she could put in an apology, Rainbow Dash cracked up. "So you're going to start calling me that too?" she laughed. Musa looked to her, confused. "Some of my friends call me Rainbow." she explained.

"So, it's okay if I call you that, then?" Musa asked.

Rainbow Dash put her hand on top of Musa's head, giving her a small noogie. "Yeah. It's alright. I mean we're friends now...right?" she said, looking down to Musa.

Musa looked up to her and smiled. She was, at first, surprised that Rainbow Dash already thought as her a friend, but then warmed up to the idea. She wasn't too fond of making friends right away, but she somehow trusted Rainbow Dash. So much to the extent that she was okay with having her as a friend. "We sure are." she answered gleefully.
