Rapidash was eating his cereal, when he noticed something. It was August 24, the day Rapidash would meet the princesses. He finished his cereal, brushed his teeth, and left his house. Six ponies were standing outside waiting for him.




"Hey guys," Rapidash said, "Where's Spike?"



"He's watching my animals," Fluttershy said. The seven ponies waited for the princesses to get to Ponyville.
After awhile they saw two chariots in the sky.



"There they are," Twilight said. Rapidash stepped forward, ready to meet them. 



"You must be Rapidash," the white alicorn princess said. Rapidash was about to say something, but he noticed something. It started to storm and something else was off.



"No, it can't be," Rapidash said, "The portal is back, but it closed two months ago." The portal was right over the princesses. Then out of the portal dropped two beings, Rapidash had only seconds to act. He ran over and pushed the princesses out of the way.





"Rapidash!" the six ponies said. There was a huge crater where Rapidash was under the two beings.



"I saved you two," Rapidash said to the princesses. 



"I'm Princess Celestia, and this is my sister Luna," the white alicorn princess said. Rapidash tried to get up, but he was too weak.



"Get them to Rapidash's house!" Twilight ordered. Fluttershy picked up Rapidash, Rarity moved the pink being with her magic, and Rainbow Dash picked up the black being with yellow around its ears. They took them to Rapidash's house.

"Sister, let's go see Lugia and Ho-Oh," the nocturnal Evee said. Her sister looked at her, and she knew that Mt. Silver was too far away.



"Ok, but let's be careful," the daytime Evee said. The two Evees set out on their journey.
