This story is about two Pokemon, Espeon and Umbreon. They are twin sisters, living by themselves. They don't know their parents.
They lived in Viridian City, just east of Mt. Silver in the Johto region. They had heard of a Ponyta that had disappeared in the forest. One day, Espeon and Umbreon overheard two Rapidash.
"Ponyta is gone, but where could he be?" Drake said.
"I'm starting to regret killing him," Sam said. Espeon had heard him and she was no happy.
"You killed that Ponyta!" Espeon said angrily, "That's the reason he went missing." Drake didn't want anyone to know what he did.
"You should go home, before this gets ugly," Drake said. Espeon and Umbreon went to Mt. Silver to check on Lugia.
"Lugia is still resting," Espeon said, "What are you looking at, Ho-Oh?" Ho-Oh just walked off, not saying anything. Espeon and Umbreon were about to get involved with an evil Pokemon's plan. It was really late and Espeon and Umbeon were on their way home. At that moment, lighting struck on Mt. Silver and a purple portal had opened in the sky.
"Perfect, all is going as planned," Ho-Oh said. Espeon and Umbreon were being sucked into the portal. "Goodbye, you two," Ho-Oh said while sticking his talons in the ground, "I will see you again, someday." Espeon and Umbreon were now through the portal and went unconscious.

"Sis, why are you still up?" the young Evee asked her sister. Her sister was looking the moon in awe.
"My sister, I like the moon," the other Evee said, "it's so big, and shiny."
"I'm going to sleep, sis," the daytime Evee said.
