Dead Forest

CHAPTER 55
Dead Forest

Twilight was the first to walk in, all the trees around seemed to not have any sort of life cycle, they were all just dead. Rainbow Dash and Applejack followed, then Rarity behind them. Twilight looked around, and said “Fluttershy, where are you?” A tree on the line of the dead and the living moved, and said “It’s too dark and scary over there, I don’t want to go.” Twilight grinned, and moved back over to Fluttershy, and said “You don’t need to be scared Fluttershy, you got us.” She turned to see all of her friends waiting on both of them, Rainbow Dash looked as if she was prepared for anything, Applejack stood completely calm next to Rainbow Dash, Rarity stared at the ground in which was all mud and muck, and Pinkie Pie was still laughing at how all of the trees around were dead. Twilight held out her hoof, and said “Don’t worry Fluttershy, as long as we’re all together, nothing will stop us. Just look at this forest, all it is are dead trees, they can’t hurt us.” Fluttershy realizing this dropped out of the tree, and crossed the line between the living and the dead. Twilight smiled at all of her friends’ bravery shown of by them all agreeing to join her in the new dead forest, she felt a little scared, but she knew that this task wasn’t easy from the start. She turned to see all of her friends waiting for her, and started to walk toward the castle in the distance.

“We must send something to help them, they don’t have a weapon to attack the castle on their own.” Shining Armor said to Princess Celestia, right now she was looking past Shining Armor toward a nearby window. Shining Armor turned to look behind him, and see the window made for the six who had defeated Discord with their friendship. Shining Armor looked around, and said “This is a castle we’re talking about, not a small village. They can’t simply just use the Elements of Harmony on every foe they face, send spike they need a familiar face to comfort them, and protect them.” The Princess sighed, and said “Fine.” She turned to a nearby guard, and said “Go alert RainFall, he need to release the beast. Let loose the monster, they need him now.” The guard panicking from what was just told ran out of the tower, and met up with RainFall. “They said to release the beast.” RainFall nodded, and looked over to Spike who now had grown almost as big as the cage. RainFall walked over to the cage, and said “Well Spike, it turns out that you get to see your friends soon, they need your help. You’ve become quite big in the past few weeks, and I have a big feeling that you’re going to do your best.” Spike roared from the cage, and stomped around in joy, RainFall saw this, and said to the guard “He is ready, send for Shining Armor.”
