“A Relaxing Night with Luna”

Ponyville teems with laughter and jubilations. Ponies and humans from the nearby towns are still arriving for this most wonderful of nights.
You and your special somepony, the beautiful and enchanting Princess Luna, have already spent most of the night partying. Many of your friends were there adding to the fun. Though, after celebrating Nightmare Night for several hours, you and your mare decide to take a short breather.
Leaving the clamorous town, you both venture out past the arched bridge and find a welcoming maple tree to sit under. Even though its branches are mostly stripped bare, a few of its more stubborn leaves continue to cling on – despite the efforts made by the ponies during “The Running of the Leaves”.
The two of you have a seat along the tree’s broad trunk. You enjoy an invigorating stretch, then slide closer to your mare. She coos softly, leaning against you. Affectionately, you place your arm around her and stroke Luna’s velvety dark blue fur. “It’s such a lovely night.”
“Hmm, I know. We had so much fun at the party.” Luna giggles softly, and then turning slightly, she places her hoof along your chest, rubbing you gently. “But you know, I’m glad we’re taking this little break.”
“Yeah, so we can enjoy a peaceful moment, together.” You smile at her and tenderly caress her silky and shimmery mane. Glancing skyward, you catch a glimpse of the full moon, beaming its light across Equestria. Then, looking at her, you sigh lovingly. “Mmm…Luna.”
She softly whispers your name and places her hooves around your neck, drawing you even closer. Her muzzle is just inches from your mouth, and you can feel her warm breath pool along your face, adding to the enchantment of the moment.
Leaning forward, you lock your princess into a loving kiss, placing your arms around her. Luna pulls you closer, gently wrestling her lips against yours. The passion you feel from her kiss causes you to moan softly and in moments, you hear her join you, softly moaning as well.
Your fingers return to her mane and resume trailing through her lengthy tresses, all while you both continue to share your tender kiss.
The two of you finally part after savoring the intimate moment a little longer. Luna pants softly with you as you both pause for breath, continuing to lean against the maple tree.
She whimpers softly, rubbing her velvety cheek against your own. You squeeze her tightly in your arms, overjoyed that this isn’t a dream. “Luna…I’m so glad we’re together.”
Luna giggles quietly, nuzzling you a bit longer. Then, she softly replies, “So am I. Who would have thought our first Nightmare Night would turn out to be one of my favorites.”
“I know what you mean. I never dreamed that when I first came to your world, that I’d end up with someone as amazing as you.” You chuckle contently, taking in a deep breath.
Pulling back, Luna looks deep into your eyes. “I’m so glad my sister and I decided to bring your kind to our world. I can’t remember when I was this happy.”
“I’m just thrilled I could bring some joy to your life.” Luna smiles, partially showing her teeth. “I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing you smile.” You gingerly stroke her hair, conveying your unending love for her.
Luna’s smile seems to grow as you continue caressing her. “I saw you looking at the full moon a little bit ago.”
You nod, sharing her charming smile. “You bet I did. It’s beautiful glow only seems to make this night more magical.”
“Yes, but I think the night seems more magical, because of the company we’re keeping.” Luna gives you a joyful expression, her eyes sparkling with glee.
Running the back of your hand along her cheek, you respond with a nod. “I definitely agree with you.” Then you look around and see how lovely the surrounding area appears in the moonlight. “Luna?”
“Yes?”
“Would you like to go for a walk around here, just outside of town?” You look at her with hopeful eyes, giving her an unending smile.
She closes here eyes and nods in a very adorable manner. “Yes, I’d love to.”
You and your mare move apart, allowing you to return to your feet. Then, you offer her your hand in a chivalrous display. Luna blushes and shares in your happy smile, gladly taking your hand, while offering you her hoof. Clutching the end of her foreleg, you help her up. She quickly throws her hooves around you, drawing you into an affectionate hug. One you are more than happy to reciprocate.
After your hug ends, you both begin to stroll along the dirt road, just outside Ponyville. Together, you enjoy the sights as the moon has bathed everything in its beautiful glow.
The two of you start across a large grassy pasture. Placing your arm around Luna, you sigh. “It’s the perfect night to walk a moonlit field.”
She joins you in sighing contently. “Yeah…with someone you love.”
Returning to the small creek, which runs through Ponyville, you both stop as you cross another of the bridges. Casting your gaze to the water, you both watch the flickering lights of the fireflies as they buzz along its reflective surface.
You look up and your glance meets Luna’s. She grins at you, then touches you with her hoof. “Tag! You’re it!” She starts giggling like a filly as she gallops, heading further upstream.
You tear-off after her. “We’ll see about that!” Bursting out into playful laughter, you dash along the grassy bank, giving chase.
Keeping your eyes peeled, you continue your pursuit, slowly closing in on your wily mare. Luna sees you slowly closing in and continues to snicker. “You can’t catch me!” Looking back, she sticks her tongue out at you and pours on the juice, galloping even faster from you.
You shake your head and dig deep, pumping ever ounce of energy out of your legs. This isn’t the first time you’ve enjoyed acting silly like this, but you’re not going to let her get the best of you this time. Besides, you’ve managed to catch her several times before. Chuckling to yourself, you keep your eyes focused on her. “I’m gonna get you!”
Luna laughs back at your singsong words as you both near a plateau. Luna’s pace slows as she all but comes to a stop. For whatever reason, she seems distracted. Not taking this golden opportunity for granted, you reach out your arms and playfully tackle her. “Gotcha!”
“Whaaaaa!” Luna wails, breaking out into infectious laughter. She quickly discovers that you have her pinned and your mare squirms trying to break free, but without success. “Hey, no fair!”
“What? I caught you fair and square!” You snicker. “Besides, you’re the one that slowed down.”
Luna smirks at you briefly, and then gazing at you half-lidded, she sighs. “Did it ever occur to you that I wanted you to tackle me?”
You chuckle at her, shaking your head at her. “Luna, you’re just full of surprises, aren’t you?”
Still looking up at you, she places her hooves on your cheeks and nods, giving you a seductive smile. Pulling you closer, she locks you into a passionate kiss. You quickly enfold your arms around her, allowing the moment to consume you in its blissful serenity.
Your kiss ends and you simply stare into Luna’s captivating teal eyes, enjoying that she’s staring right back at you. Then, your ears notice a change in the flowing water of the stream. It’s a sound you hadn’t noticed at first, mainly because you were happily distracted.
Glancing toward the stream, you notice a small waterfall flowing down from the elevation of the plateau. “Luna, look.”
“Hmm?” She turns her head and joins you in looking at the falling water. “Oh, my.”
The two of you stand back up and move to the water’s edge. There, you remain close, watching the moving water shimmer under the light of the moon. “It’s beautiful, Luna.”
She giggles briefly, before speaking your name. “It certainly is.” Leaning against you, Luna sighs dreamily. “This has been a truly wonderful night. First the Nightmare Night celebration…and now this!”
Putting your arm around her again, you draw Luna close. “I know and I’m glad we could spend it together.” You turn to look at her, beaming her caring eyes. “I love you, Luna.”
Luna shares your loving glance and whispers your name. “I love you.”
You rest your head along hers and briefly cuddle against her, continuing to stand there. Luna joins you in letting out a dreamy sigh, savoring the calming scene just a bit longer.
Glancing over your shoulder, you notice the bright lights of Ponyville. Turning to Luna you give her another smile. “Well, honey, why don’t we head back to town. We might was well enjoy the party for a little longer.”
Luna nods, beaming you an equally jolly smile. “Of course, my love, and afterwards, we’ll return to the castle so we can share a real Nightmare Night celebration.” She winks at you, and giggles briefly.
You chuckle at your mare, patting her back. “I’ll be looking forward to it.”
Luna giggles again, as you both being walking back to Ponyville, knowing that the night still has plenty of wonders left to impart.
