Chapter 9: Hansel and Gretel

Back inside the House of Chaos, Smaug chuckles while making the next announcement, "And now...I've saved the best for last."

"Hold it right there, Smaug!" A familiar voice snaps, much to Smaug's notice. The villains groans as Ben and Fluttershy came on stage. Not again! "Okay, I understand what you're going but this has gone far enough!"

"Booo! Get off the stage, you freaks!" Lorcan Hyde yells at Ben and Fluttershy in annoyance. Roclan hits him.

"Shut up!" Roclan scowls at Lorcan Hyde in annoyance.

"Ya wanna go?"

"Don't mind if I do!"

Fluttershy try her special Stare, which ends up cowing all the villains EXCEPT Smaug and Discord into submission. Ben continues, "Smaug, I'm giving you and your pals 30 seconds to change this back to the House of Pony right now! Or I'm sending Fluttershy here to kick some butt!"

Ben starts counting down while Smaug shakes his head, motioning over to Discord. The evil Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony turns his claws into hooks and grabs the stallion and Fluttershy, the mare yelps as her Stare soon lost its control. Ben didn't know what was going on until Discord floats off with him and Fluttershy, taking them out to the door.

"All right, let's heat things up with a twisted tale that even Twilight and Ben would find to be a real scream," Smaug chuckles, hearing a noise of Ben and Fluttershy being thrown out by Discord, "Roll it, Gilda!"

"All right," Gilda laughs in the control central as she hits the projector. The villains applaud as the next and final cartoon of the night starts.

It was one evening in the Everfree Forest. Twilight and her colt friend Ben Mare were trotting along, holding hooves. The couple was planning a romantic evening, not wanting to ruin the chance to be together.

Twilight cross over a small river and pull a slim leaf of a plant, putting it between the land to let Ben cross...of course, the stallion just jumps over the river. He isn't a mare after all! Twilight blinks as she cross the slim leaf, letting the water touch her hooves while following Ben,

Ben uses a hollow log as a bridge while Twilight catches up, the two kept on walking...until they came upon a very unusual sight: a house made out of candy. The ponies look at each and drooling while dropping the picnic basket that they had. Lunch will wait, time for snacks!

The two ponies run for the candy house, arriving at the entrance. Twilight and Ben smiles as they knock on the door several times. After all, they want to ask permission from the owner before eating his or her house.

One of the little doors (shaped like a bump on a candy bar) opens up to show someone peeking out. Upon seeing Twilight and Ben, the little door is shut. The mare frowns as she knocks on the door impatiently while her love waits. Twilight taps one hoof while Ben whistles a bit.

Soon the big door opens revealing a nice alicorn by the name of Princess Victoria who smiles at the two. She show Twilight and Ben into her home where a huge table of desserts is at. The couple grins while sitting down. Victoria is allowing them to sample everything to their hearts' desire. Twilight finds it interesting that the alicorn looks like her sister in law Cadance.

And thus, Twilight and Ben begins eating the contents of the table, even Victoria was feeding her guests. The two kept eating until they were satisfied with their unhealthy meal. What a treat!

Soon Twilight and Ben begins feeling tired and a little overweight, yawning a bit. Victoria smiles as she picks the two ponies up. Perhaps the alicorn can bring them into a room where they could spend the night.

The two ponies walk with Cadance, not noticing all the skeletons that were upstairs. The alicorn opens up the door to reveal two beds and a room for the two. Twilight and Ben smiles to each other then jumps right into the beds to relax. After all, it has been a long day!

Twilight can open one eye as she saw Victoria smiling while closing the door.

Of course, if Twilight has suspects something, she would've done something by now. Outside, Victoria lock the door and smirks...evilly! The truth to be told that while she looks nice, the alicorn is also an evil witch who eats the flesh of any ponies who are foolish enough to come here...and now, Victoria has found two to eat!

Princess Victoria teleport to the kitchen and heads to the stove, using her magic to throw in candy-covered logs to start a fire; The villainess then performs a spell to begin then opens up a cookbook, sending out more ingredients to cook 'Roasted Ponies' as she put the pot into the oven.

Back in the 'guest' room, Twilight yawns as she got out of bed. The pony decides to open a window; it's getting stuffy in here. But the unicorn got a surprise upon opening the curtains: the windows are bricked up! Twilight rushes over to the door and tries to open it, but the thing's locked up!

Outside, Victoria, all ready, smirks evilly as she heads over to the room; Time for her dinner.

Back inside the room, Twilight tries to teleport out but something is blocking her magic. There's something wrong! The unicorn turns to the peaceful, sleeping Ben! Victoria is up to no good!

Even outside some more, Victoria is getting closer by the moment...

Twilight shakes Ben until he woke up. The mare explains to her love that something's wrong. Looking around, even the stallion gasps and nods in agreement. How weird that Victoria would lock them in here, bricked up the windows, prevent Twilight and her teleporting magic from working...even after letting them in; Very suspicious.

The couple decides to get out of here so Twilight charges at the door, ready to knock it down. But then the door opens up, revealing Princess Victoria who moves out of the way as the unicorn ends up hitting a wall.

Ben gallops out of the room and grabs Twilight as they make their escape from the witch. The two rush downstairs with Victoria's shadow looming. They run into a room and gasps. There's the evil alicorn using her magic (which works inside her home) on a bowl of candy canes. They came to life and attacks Twilight and Ben who gallop off to avoid them.

Twilight and Ben run down a multitude of stairs then they slid down some stationary candy, run up it and run into the hallway. The purple unicorn uses her magic (some which can work) and put him on her back, the two ponies continue running in hopes to escape Victoria.

The two screams as green candied moths came to life, flying out. Twilight carries Ben through and a door and slams it, causing the moths themselves to hit the door, breaking apart; Twilight and Ben themselves sigh in relief then look around to figure out which way to go next.

Twilight uses her magic to get a candle, pointing to the right. She and Ben gallops down the halls while dodging an obstacle of swinging and falling candy, going by a chair and lamp which was flooded with strawberry milk. Now the couple passed by some sort of death trap from Daring Doo, except this one involves candy.

Twilight and Ben land on a cake, which the cherry ball from the Daring Doo trap fell onto. This causes the icing, along with the two ponies to swim down the hall where more green moths appear, pestering the two. Twilight and Ben holds onto each other while the icing floods the house, until they arrive in a dark area.

Once the icing is gone, Twilight and Ben tries to trot off but the two finds themselves trapped in a steel cage. Victoria appears, smirking evilly. Now she got them! The alicorn goes over to the stove, ready to work on it.

Twilight and Ben looks for a way to escape as Victoria closes up the stove. Time for dinner; the good mare, feeling hopeless, holds onto Ben who hugs her right back; Looks like this is the end.

Victoria opens the cage and grabs Twilight, tearing her from Ben who could only watch horrified as the evil witch push the mare over to open the stove. Twilight sighs as she tries to open the stove...but no to prevail.

Victoria rolls her eyes in annoyance as she push Twilight aside to open the stove herself. The alicorn must do everything around here! Of course, unknown to her, Ben got out of the cage with an evil smirk. Princess Victoria has made one mistake like all evil witches: never leave someone's cage door open when they're on a roll.

Victoria frowns to Twilight as she opens the stove...but then Ben pushes the alicorn into the thing. Looks like this is it, but Victoria herself grabs Twilight to pull her into the stove. Ben gasps as she grabs his love by the hoof but got pulled into the stove itself as well.

Amazingly, the stove is a lot bigger on the inside than it was on the outside...it looks like the pits of Tartarus! Twilight helps Ben up as the two look for a way out, both of them saw some steps leading to the stove's entrance.

Twilight and Ben begins rushing over to the steps but then the fires acts wild, preventing their path. The two looks for another way as the ground begins spewing fire which grew bigger. The couple gasps as they saw that the fire is turning into Victoria!

Victoria roars as she tries to grab Twilight but the pony teleport out of the way in time. She may not leave the house this way but at least the unicorn can dodge. Ben finds himself cornered by the mad alicorn.

Twilight frowns as she uses her magic to get a lit up candy log, charging at Victoria and stuffing the thing into where the villainess was being controlled, stopping her from getting to Ben. Twilight then grabs Ben as the two go up the stairs, holding hooves while going upward.

Ben slips on one of the steps but Twilight helps him up as they get up towards the next path and rush right out the stove exit, shutting the door close. Twilight sighs in relief, the stove is locked up for good and Victoria is gone. The couple hugs one another, happy for their win.

Suddenly the stove door begins to shake like mad while starting to blow fire. Twilight and Ben yelps, deciding that now is a good time to get out of here. The two rush out of the house and heading right out of the Everfree Forest. They decided not to tell their friends what they themselves have experienced.

Even a mad alicorn who wants to eat ponies is too much for them to listen about!

With the cartoon done, the villains cheer on. Rainbow Chaos frowns while saying to Smaug, "Nice cartoon...though it's still the same as what the old club was doing!"

"I told you before, don't rush me! We will get to the villainous acts and we will." Smaug insists to Rainbow evilly. "Once we get the snacks and drinks out, we shall execute the heroes one by one."

"Oh yeah! Much better than the original movie."

"Don't break the fourth wall. You aren't Pinkie Pie."

As the villains celebrate the cartoon and preparations for the villainous acts, not one of them realize a group of heroes going into the club via a secret entrance.

"Fortunately Smaug doesn't know about this entrance." Twilight said in determination.

"So what are we going 'ta do?" Applejack asks Twilight in determination.

"Simple, I'm going to get the Discord Staff which Megan used, or will use, in the My Little Pony's Megan series. If that staff works for her, it shall work for anypony. I shall use to take down that creep and get our club back!"

"Right, we better go get it." Spike said as the group open the door to the basement and head downstairs. "We don't know how long before Smaug and his pals begin their evil deeds!"
